Chapter 9

Going through almost every product at the store, Ivy was having the best day at the moment. She walks around the store with a basket half way filled with skincare and hair products, she carefully check the new product that just being launch recently.

Even though the items she already had in the basket is more than enough, Ivy still walk around the store and take another bottle of a new lotion. She pondering to herself whether it is going to suit her skin and the probable side effect based on the list of ingredients.

She was scrutinize every ingredients as if she is one of a scientist that are currently doing an experiment seriously.

She spend her time there almost two and a half hours, only to stop when her arm starts to ache from holding the heavy basket. Thanks to the items weight of the items in the basket, she decided to stop her shopping spree.

Her body shown that she would not make it home if she decided to skip another meal after the simple late breakfast had. She felt famished with her long hours of walk and all her energy spend on the stress in her head.

On her way to the food court, Ivy's stomach as if agree with her every other cells call for food, growling loudly. Her face turn red with her stomach acting up like she had not any food for the whole week in the middle of the mall where there is people might hear the sounds.

Quickly went to a restaurant she frequent, Ivy trying to find a table for herself. She found herself a table just at the corner of the restaurant with a glass window.

That table situated at the best and suit her preference the most where she can have clear image of her surroundings.

Sitting there while waiting for a waitress to come, Ivy look around her. She can see that there is indeed some of her "brother's" people stalking her. She can see their camouflage easily since it was so common for them with those black three pieces suit.

Who would wear suit during summer? They really need to sharpen their skills in term of hiding among crowd.

When a waitress come and take her order, Ivy meet with a pair of eyes that she hope it is not the guy. She really want to deny her reality at that very moment. The man with arrogant smile, walks to her like it is a runaway.

Those perfect catwalk really make her nerve boiled with anger. Why can't he let her day be peaceful for the day? Not only that with his presence there, every eyes in the restaurant glued to him as soon as he walks through the door.

"Why do I have something to do with this man? Can't I just kill this persistent man and buried him somewhere? Urghh... Is there a way to cut off our relationship at once this instance?"

Is there still a chance for her to run now? Can she avoid him without being seen? And of course the answer is no.

She had like two handful of shopping bags with her where she would not want to left them behind. She used her own money to buy every single of them. It will be a waste of money and time she spend on them if she decide to leave them behind.

And she already make an eye contact with the man too. Not only that, she can see his bodyguard were guarding the door in which he just come from. So, there is no way out.

"Hi there. You look ... umm ... let me see pretty occupied, I guess. Perhaps you just curse me inside of you little brain?"

Instead of give the man reaction he wants, Ivelyn opt for a different way.

No reaction. She would not give him any satisfaction of her annoyed reaction. She will pretend that she did not bother with his "surprised" presence.

You know, since she already knew that she being followed, there is nothing to be shocked about.

At the end, she just ignore his greet and lazily lean on her back seat waiting for her food being served for her.

With every seconds waiting at the same table with the person she hate, Ivy closed her eyes and inhale air deeply and let the man in front of her talk all non-sense to himself. Her head start to throb with every words coming out of Isaac's mouth. Her anger meter about to reach its limit.

In the end, Ivy open her mouth and decide to make the man in front of her to shut up.

"Can you stop talking? I think you should have enough talking. I understand everything you said already, okay. But, I still don't want to go there. Can't you understand at least that much? I don't want to leave. So, you should give up. There is no use trying to convince me over and over again. Seriously, can't you leave me alone?"

"I had told you yesterday, isn't? No is not an option for you. And I have no other choice other than bothering you during my free time. I had been waiting for this day to come. You can call me all names and curse me inside your little head, but I will not give up."

"Urghh... fine whatever. All I can say is it over my dead body."

"Ivy, you know that I had make a promised. All I want is that I fulfil it when I can. You would not regret if you left here with me willingly on your own."

"So, what. What happen if I won't go? You would forcefully take me away then? Huh... dream on."

"Ivy, two people can play this game of yours."

"Oh... shut up now will you, I want to have my food in peace. Or I prefer for you to leave me now. Don't ruin my appetite." Snarled Ivy when she had enough.

"Ouff... that kind of hurt. Okay, then let's have lunch together and let me put my order too, after all it is lunch time and I kind of hungry. Waiter..." comment Isaac when she done burst her anger at him.

As soon as Ivy's order come, she engulf the food like a wolf. As soon as the food get inside of her mouth, she seem like did not even bother to chew any of them but just swallowed them at once.

Her behaviour make Isaac chuckle. He can't believe that she detest him to such extend. She should enjoy her food and eat them calmly. The sight in front of him make him think of a squirrels trying to fit a bunch of nuts inside their mouth.

No matter what she did, she would leave the country with him. That is a definite and there is no other choice left for her.

He knew that since his food had yet arrived, she planned to leave him behind as soon as she done with hers. Unfortunately for her, his goal at the moment was not the food or trying to convince her.

His planned was perfect as long she had hers. It all matters for him.

"Put this in her drink. Do it secretly. Don't let her conscious of your presence. Report to me as soon as she leave the house."

"Yes, sir." Bowing to his boss, the man turn around and leave the room.

Sitting on a couch in a hotel room, Isaac and his friend were having a discussion about his plan. His friend was worried that the man like Isaac would use the medicine in a wrong way.

As soon as he hear Isaac instruction to his man, he can be sure that it is only a trick he put for his sister. He can't believe that Isaac would do that. He never see the man so desperate to use under hand tactic.

And his first victim of the under hand tactic would be his sister. A sister he had been searching for like a mad person.

Does it make any sense?

Everyone would not believe that. Of course not, people always judge a book by its cover. And at this moment, the friend really pitying his friend sister for having such man as a brother.

Ones really can't read others mind. Innocent face does not make one guiltless.

"Ivy. Just like your name, your words are really poisonous. I can't believe that she would grow up like this. Free spirits with brilliant mind. It makes me happy when I see you again, Ivy. You put a lot of trap for me to find you. What an exciting life I am going to have with you soon."

Excitement can see at the eyes of Isaac. He had been wishing to spend time with Ivy when they were young. But now, she all grow up and have such personality make Isaac adore the girl even more.
