Chapter 36:The scream of a young girl

"I see that all of my spiritual energy has turned into a golden one.

It's probably the reason that I don't feel any pain when two spiritual energies combine into one, "Henry to himself.

A moment later Henry retracted his attention from his core.

Then he continued to tolerate the pain and continue cultivating it for the rest of the night.

A few hours would have passed by since he started to cultivate. During this time he won't feel any significant difference in his strength or cultivation.

He continued to jump from one tree to the other.

A moment later he spotted a girl running at a distance from something.

Henry scanned the entire place, then he spotted a giant eagle-like bird following her.

He then scanned the cultivation realm of the beast before making any further moves.

"Early stage of Basic Qi Refinement realm. The cultivation realm of the beast is really low. I can easily one-shot him so I can save her without any injuries" Henry announced loudly.

Henry took out his sword when he took out the sword an aura came out from it. This aura immediately calmed down his nerves and other senses.

His mind became a lot clearer and his senses would also be enhanced slightly.

"Time to take these beasts out," Henry muttered as he got closer to it.

After getting close enough Henry started to lock on to the Eagle so that he can kill it in one swift move.

Henry closed down his eyes for some time. He opened his eyes and the beasts would have slowed down considerably.

He kept his eyes locked on the eagle as he would keep going in it's direction. When opportunity would be present in front of him.

"Time to kill it. I will start by cutting off its wings. Its agility is what makes it difficult to deal with.

After that I will kill it, "Henry thought to himself.

Henry tightened the grip on his sword and also increased his input of spiritual energy into his sword.

As he increased the input of spiritual energy into his sword. The sword would get covered in a thin layer of blue later of spiritual energy.

The layer of spiritual energy would be becoming thicker with each passing second.

Henry would let out cold air from his mouth. He jumped from the branch of the tree when the beast would be close enough.

The girl tried to scan what the beast is trying to get rid of. A moment later she spotted a boy running in the back of the beast.

She stood there motionlessly and looked at the young man who is running on the back of the beast.

At the same time on the back of the beast.

Henry would be running around the back of the beast and he would maintain his balance.

"If this beast thinks that he can shake me off then he couldn't be any more wrong, "Henry thought to himself.

Henry released almost all of his aura at the same time.

Tremendous pressure bored down on the body of the beast.

The beast froze in the air when it feels this kind of pressure for some time. Henry would took advantage of this.

"Time to slash its wing and then kill it"Henry exclaimed in excitement.

Henry would quickly charge towards one wing and he would slash one of the wings. Within a second, he would arrive in front of the other wing. He would also slash it.

The beasts would let out a powerful roar.

"Roar Roar Roar Roar!!!"The beast roared as its wings fell from its body.

Seeing this Henry would shook his head.

"I am not done yet"Henry added as he charged towards its head.

Henry continued to charge toward its head. He arrived in front of it within a second.

"You are done," Henry exclaimed proudly.

Henry slashed the neck of the beast. The beast starts to fall to the ground along with his body.

Blood spurted out from its body like a fountain of water.

"Done, "Henry added.

He started to prepare to land on the ground. Henry channeled as much spiritual energy as he can to make his legs stronger to withstand the shock of landing on the ground.

A moment later he landed on the ground and a huge crate would form right below his feet.

After landing on the ground he looked at the young girl right in her eyes. A moment later Henry started to walk towards the girl.

The girl hesitated a little bit before she would open her mouth and ask.

"Who are you mister and why did you save me by putting your own life at risk?"The young girl asked.

Henry wouldn't reply immediately instead he would just keep walking towards her. After a moment later he would opened his mouth and say.

"My name is Henry as for why I have

saved you isn't it quite normal that we should help others in need?

Also, if you are lost then I can help you reach your parents or if you need any other help since a child shouldn't be wandering here alone since it's dangerous."Henry answered with a smile on his face.

Seeing this the young girl's face would regain some of its color. The young girl looked at him for a few seconds before saying.

"Would you help me reach my parents and family members?"The young girl asked with a sad voice.

Henry just nodded his head slightly before he would have the chance to say anything.

"THEN PLEASE SAVE MY FAMILY AND FRIENDS FROM THEM. I BEG OF YOU TO DO SO!!!"The young girl exclaimed in a loud voice.

When she said these words, the interface of the system started to tremble nonstop before a line of words appeared on his retina.

"What is the meaning of this?"Henry asked in a completely disbelieving voice.
