Chapter 99 : Family
*Matthew's POV*
The papers were in my hand.
I couldn't believe I was doing it. I couldn't believe that I was giving up Withers Records. There was a small pit in my stomach.
But Trinity was worth it.
At that thought, a calm feeling replaced the pit I had felt and I gave into the feeling. I could always rebuild a company. I couldn't rebuild Trinity.
"Matthew!" Her voice seemed to ring out in my ears, supporting me.
But when I looked up to Brett and my father to hand them the documents, I noticed they weren't looking at me anymore. They were looking over my shoulder with pure looks of annoyance and anger written all over their faces.
My father reached forward quickly to grab the papers out of my hand, but out of instinct, I pulled back.
"Matthew!" The yell was louder this time and I whipped around to see Trinity sprinting toward me.
