When the dust cleared from the explosion, Magneton suddenly felt heavy. Magneton couldn't take it anymore and fell down on the ground, fast asleep once again.

When smoke from the explosion covered the battlefield, Folker had a hunch that something was wrong. It was only when the dust cleared that he found out that Ivysaur secretly scattered [Sleep Powder], even without Chelsea's instruction.

The corners of Chelsea's lips curled up when she saw Magneton's state.

'So that was her aim!' Folker thought to himself as he grit his teeth.

"Wake up, Magnet!" Folker shouted his lungs out, trying to wake up his sleeping pokemon but to no avail, Magneton showed no reaction.

"Use [Growth]" Chelsea said with a smile. Ivysaur then let out a sharp cry as it channeled grass type energy to force its body to grow, raising its attack and special attack stat by two stages with Sunny Day.

"Now, use [Razor Leaf] before it wakes up" Chelsea calmly said. Ivysaur then hurled sharp edged leaves on Magneton.

When the leaves struck Magneton, it woke up and levitated lightly. It was at this moment that the harsh sunlight from above slowly disappeared.

"Fantastic, now use [Discharge]!" Folker shouted as he grit his teeth. He was somewhat frustrated by Chelsea's sleep inducing tactics. Fortunately, he was able to trade blows with Chelsea with [Thunder Wave], which also somewhat annoyed her.

Magneton then channeled electric type energy and let loose a flare of electricity in every direction. Ivysaur was struck by electricity and could only endure it as it grit its teeth.

"Ivysaur, use [Seed Bomb] once again!" Chelsea hurriedly said, just right after Magneton finished its Discharge.

Ivysaur then slammed a barrage of hard-shelled seeds from down on the target from above. The seeds came from the bulb of a plant on its bulb.

When the seeds struck Magneton's figure, they immediately exploded and covered the area around Magneton with smoke from the explosion. This seed bomb was different from the [Seed Bomb] used by Ivysaur earlier. This one was a barrage of small seeds while the earlier [Seed Bomb] was only a single but large seed.

Although Magneton is of Electric/Steel type, it must have taken considerable damage from the boosted attack.

Folker was somewhat on guard with this [Seed Bomb]. The last time Magneton was struck with it, Ivysaur sneaked out a [Sleep Powder] under the cover of smoke from the explosion.

"Magnet, use [Discharge]. Now!" Folker hurriedly shouted. Magneton once again used [Discharge] and struck everything around it, including Ivysaur. The smoke was then forcefully cleared out by [Discharge].

However, when the smoke was cleared out, Ivysaur was nowhere to be found on the battlefield. Magneton was taken aback by Ivysaur's sudden disappearance.

The corners of Chelsea's lips curled once again. When Folker noticed Chelsea's expression, he looked from above and found Ivysaur.

"Above you! Use [Thundershock] on the airborne Ivysaur!" Folker hurriedly shouted. Whatever plans Chelsea had with Ivysaur, Folker was not having it and chose to shock Ivysaur with [Thundershock].

[Thundershock] had a higher attack range compared to [Discharge] so Folker chose [Thundershock] this time.

He was about to use [Light Screen] but he feared that Chelsea would take this chance to [Sleep Powder] so he decided to just attack Ivysaur with [Thundershock], at least it would delay whatever plans Chelsea had due to the pain inflicted by the attack.

'Tch, she's somewhat lucky for now. It's been a while since paralysis struck Ivysaur' Folker thought to himself in frustration.

Ivysaur looked like it was about to move its body to use a move but as if Arceus had heard of Folker's frustration, a weak jolt of electricity appeared on Ivysaur's body, canceling whatever move it was planning.

Ivysaur was struck by a [Thundershock] from Magneton and fell on the ground. It struggled to get up as it grit its teeth but it eventually stood strong while glaring at Magneton.

'How did it even jump that high in the air?' Folker asked himself inwardly. As far as he can remember, Ivysaurs don't have that good of a jumping ability.

"Magnet, use [Supersonic]!" Folker hurriedly shouted. Magneton then generated odd sound waves from its body in Ivysaur's direction.

"[Sleep Powder], now!" Chelsea hurriedly shouted just right after Folker said his command. When Folker heard Chelsea's words just now, he grit his teeth and secretly prayed that Ivysaur's paralysis would flare up just right before it was about to use [Sleep Powder].

God Arceus was on Folker's side as Ivysaur's paralysis struck its body once again as a weak jolt of electricity appeared from all over its body, canceling its [Sleep Powder].

It appeared to be confused after it heard the bizarre sound waves generated from Magneton's body. Nevertheless, its glare never left Magneton's figure despite being confused.

Chelsea looked at Ivysaur's figure with a worried look on her face. Folker flashed out a grin as he looked at Ivysaur's figure.

"Now, use [Discharge]!" Folker shouted with a smile on his face. Magneton then struck everything around it with a flare of electricity.

"Ivysaur, use [Sleep Powder]!" Chelsea shouted just right after Magneton finished its discharge. Ivysaur then scattered a big cloud of sleep-inducing dust around Magneton's figure, trading a blow for sleep.

'Oh, come on! Luck-based moves are so unreliable! Where's paralysis when I need it? Where's the confusion when I need it?' Folker complained inwardly. He could only helplessly watch Magneton sleep soundly on the battlefield.

He was somewhat confident that either confusion or paralysis would flare up since one of both had a high chance of surfacing but to his disappointment, none of them appeared.

He didn't even try to wake Magneton up as he knew that it was futile.

"Ivysaur, use [Sunny Day]" Chelsea said with a smile. Ivysaur attempted to use [Sunny Day] but paralysis struck its body.

'Well, at least you appeared' Folker inwardly said with a bitter smile on his face.

"Again, use [Sunny Day]" Chelsea said with a similar bitter smile on her face. As if God Arceus once again heard Folker's complaints, Ivysaur didn't listen to Chelsea and rushed towards Magneton's figure and tackled the sleeping Magneton.

'At least, [Supersonic] was also somewhat effective' Folker inwardly said. He then looked at Magneton's figure and looked closely at the vines and leaves surrounding its body.

He wondered how they weren't fried or loosely fell with all those electric type moves and explosions caused by both Magneton and Ivysaur.
