Unique Gym Challenge

After the fight with Tony Laila's gym became popular . Because she had defeated Tony team with only two pokemon , and her first pokemon defeated three pokemon continuously , her gym became very popular.

Tony told her that he would come back and defeat her when he is strong enough and set off to continue his journey. After he left , merely a week later two young challengers had arrived and challenged the gym . They had a special request and asked if they could have a tag team challenge. Thinking that it would be interesting Laila accepted their condition.

[Present time]

Laila POV:-

"Okay I agree to tag team challenge ." I tell the challengers. But I also say to them seriously.

"You both know that Tag team challenges are not in the League Fights right ?"

"Thank you Gym Leader Laila . Yes , we know that , but we want to become the best Tag team in the world . So , all the gyms we fought are tag teams . It doesn't matter if we don't enter the League Championship , and we will prove the world that even if the top two winners of the League Team up and fight against us we will win against them and show every one what we are made up off." They both speak at the same time with fiery will burning in their eyes.

"Lofty goals you both have don't you . But I like both of your determination so lets begin the match." I say.

"But first tell me your information like you name and from where you come from."

And they tell me at the same time " As you can see we are twins , and we come from a small village in Orange Islands."

"My name is Tim" says the orange hair kid.

"And my name is Kim" say the yellow hair kid.

"Alright Tim and Kim lets get the match going." I say while taking their pokedex and registering the match in League site.

At the Battle field all the damage has been repaired for Tony's match . The three of us get ready for the match .

Grandpa again acts as the referee.

"Alright This is a official league gym match and will start on my count , are both the Challengers Tim and Kim and Gym leader Laila ready ?"

All three of us conform "YES!!"X3

"Then the match starts in 3"

'Since , it's a tag team challenge I'm against two pokemon I need to consider the ones I choose , Hmmmm two pokemon who can support each other and work together , lets see what we have.' Thinking what pokemon I should choose I take out two pokeballs containing the pokemon I select.

"Go Pawniard and come on out Inkay." I take out my pokemon.

"Come on out Drowsee/Abra"X2 yell Tim and Kim. But then after seeing my pokemon they quickly take out their pokedex and scan my pokemon.

"Wow we did not see pokemon like this any where ?"

*[ Pawniard is a small, bipedal Pokémon. It has a rounded red and black head with a silvery blade extending from the front. Its face is gray with yellow eyes. Four steel spikes protrude from its black torso, two on each side connected by steel ribs. It has red arms that end with knife-like blades instead of hands, which it regularly sharpens with stones found by rivers. When hunting, Pawniard immobilizes prey by repeated stabbing with these blades. Its legs are red with two-toed feet. In the wild, Pawniard lives in packs governed by Bisharp.

Pawniard is a Dark/Steel type Pokémon. It is known as the Sharp Blade Pokémon.

They are weak against Fighting/Ground/Fire type attacks and immune to Psychic/Poison type moves.]*

*[ Inkay is a blue squid-like Pokémon. It has a transparent mantle with a rounded, pink body inside that has several yellow, circular lights. There are four lights on the front and two on the back. Attached to its mantle are two transparent tentacles; its remaining tentacles are part of its main body. It has round, black eyes and a pink beak-like mouth. Inkay is often mistaken for a Water-type because of its appearance.

Those who stare at the lights on Inkay's body become dazed and lose their will to battle; this allows it to escape. It can also use these light-emitting spots to send messages in the form of complex flashing rhythms and to attract prey. Prey is then ensnared and held in place by its tentacles.

Inkay is a Dark/Psychic type Pokémon. It is known as the Revolving Pokémon. Transmitters above Inkay's eyes have the ability to drain the will to fight from other Pokémon. It uses this skill to run and hide when attacked by stronger enemies. They are weak against Bug type moves and immune to Psychic type moves.]*

"Okay Pawniard use Sword Dance and Inkay use Destiny Bond on Drowsee." I command them seriously.

These moves raises the attack power of Pawniard and Destiny Bond move is special because is the user of the move faints the pokemon to whom the bond attached to also faints.

"Okay Abra use Miracle Eye!!" Yells Tim

"You to Drowsee use Miracle eye!!" tells Kim . The move Miracle eye allows Dark type pokemon to get hit with Psychic type moves. This was learnt from the pokedex now and it showed their pokemon knew this move. Otherwise they would have been utterly defeated.

'That move is a pain for my pokemon , why does that type of move exists' Thinking that I sigh .

"Okay lets get serious Pawniard use Metal Sound and Inkay use Feint Attack!!" My Pawniard produces grinding metal sound that reduces the opponents Sp.def and Inkay disappeared from their view and attacks from their back.

"Abra use protect!! ." Tim tells his pokemon . It protects ally pokemon by forming a round thin layer of sheild around them.

"Now Drowsee use Hypnosis on Inkay" yells Kim.

The hypnosis fails due to Inkays ability 'Contrary'- the status effects it receives are all opposite.

And Inkay's attack lands on both of them , due Inkays hidden ability 'Infiltrator' - attacks passes through opponents barriers and shields.

"Abraaaaaaaa"

"Drowwwwwwseeeeeeeeee" they both shout in pain .

"No Abra use Teleport with Drowsee ." commands Tim saving Both of their pokemon from further attacks. And Inkay flies back beside Pawniard.

"Good reflexes" I praise them. "But lets continue."

"Pawniard use Double team Then Metal claw and Inkay use Calm mind" Inkay raises its Sp.atk and Sp.def . Pawniard surrounds both Abra and Drowsee with its copies and attacks with Metal Claw.

Confused from which direction the real Pawniard comes from Both Abra and Drowsee gets hit by Pawniard's sharp blades.

"No Abra/Drowsee" Both Tim and Kim yell at the same time.

"Abra use Zen Headbutt and Drowsee use Assist!!!!" commands Both Tim and Kim.

"Attack head on Inkay use Arial Ace and Pawniard use Agility to dodge and then Guillotine on Abra." I command my pokemon.

All four pokemon clash head on and dust fills the field.

The Assist used by Drowsee alows it to use a move of its ally and it also attacks with Zen Headbutt .

My Inkay and Drowsee clash with each other but due to Calm Mind Inkays Sp.atk is higher and Drowsee crashes into the ground .

Pawniard dodges Abra's attack and tries to knock it out with Guillotine using its hand blades , then suddenly Tim shouts.

"Abra TELEPORT quickly!!!!!" and Abra disappears form Pawniard position and appears few meters away from it.

"Nice save there Tim." I praise him.

"Kim this is the most toughest challenge we came across since we left home." Tim tells his twin seriously.

"Yes!!! the most difficulty we faced is this , and we have to overcome it to become the very best. " Kim says with determination.

"Lets do our best Brother!!!"X2

"Abra/Drowsee this is the toughest challenge we faced so lets give it our all okay buddies!!!!!!!!!!" yells Both the twins.

"Aaaaaabraaaaa"

"Drowseeeeeeeeeeeeeeee" Both pokemon shout in conformation and the suddenly light shines from both of their bodies brightly on the whole field , and every one gets blinded by it.

"Is that what I think they are going through-" I say softly in disbelief.
