The NEW Gym

Today is the day Laila has been waiting for, she dreamed for this day to come for countless nights and today is will be achieving it.

---Flashback

From the day she could see and remember Laila was always alone except when she was with her grandpa and her Pokémon's was left alone near the Pokémon center in a cloth wrap with a tag written "Sable" on it. An elderly man who was going to the poke center for his regular checkup saw her and picked her up took her to the center with her. After finding out that no one has the name Sable in the town he took her in with him and raised her like his own grand-daughter and gave her a home and love.

Laila POV: -

Thinking about this memory Laila felt very emotional and she swore to herself that she would take care of her grandpa from now on, as she will be returning to her home now that her request is approved by the League. Just as she was thinking about her request a league assistant called her through the speaker at the League desk.

"Ms. Sable please come to the front desk."

I immediately respond to it and find my way to the desk and call the receptionist. The receptionist sees me and asks.

"Ms. Sable?"

I answer. "Yes, that's me."

"Your request has been approved please take your file's and go the designated floor number, someone will take you to the Chief from there."

I reply. "Thank you."

After that I followed the directions and went to the designated floor, which was the top floor in the League center. There are only few people present and I notice everyone are working seriously.

Suddenly one man stands up and approaches me and tells me.

"Ms. Sable the chief is waiting."

And directs me to the room at the center.

"Please enter, the chief is eager to meet you after hearing about your request."

He tells me this and disappears as fast as a Gastly. I was surprised why he left like that but quickly dismissed that thought and knocked the door three times, and someone tells me to enter. After entering, the only person in the room whom I presume as the Chief of the Pokémon League Committee Charles Goodshow was standing near glass wall and gazing at the horizon. Exited to meet him I reply slowly to him.

"Laila Sable sir."

He turns around slowly and smiles at me.

"No need to be formal come sit and we'll talk. "

I come and sit down opposite to the Chief. The Chief starts to talk about the request I submitted.

"When I first saw the request, I was shocked and thought someone was pulling a prank but was convinced it was true after seeing your resume and profile you submitted to the league. "

---Flashback few months back

Charles Goodshow POV: -

Today was like any other day boring and mountain of paper work but as I was looking through the immediate request files I was shocked to see this type of request because it was not every day you come across something like this , and even if it does , it would be first checked by a long procedure before it comes up to me for approval and most of this type were false info or pranks .

So, I was truly surprised to see this, on the top of the form was written as "Application for Establishment of New Gym" in bold letters. After seeing it I immediately opened the file in my personal computer and read it.

"Interesting...!"

I was amazed after seeing the profile of the person, her records were outstanding, and her choice of Pokémon were also unique to the region she wants her gym to be. So, I read all through the file, and for the first time I want to call her personally and approve her request. But League procedures are present and must follow them and arranged for a meeting as early as possible.

Coming to present after seeing her personally I approve her furthermore and was more satisfied.

She has a unique aura around her which by seeing it with his own eyes was charming, and she was not nervous after seeing me like everyone.

Laila POV: -

After siting I look straight to Charles Goodshow, and he starts to speak.

"I have seen through your files and I'm amazed by it."

I was super happy by the compliment but kept my composure.

"Thank you, sir I am honored to hear it, from you."

I say while slightly bowing. He was amused by me and waves his hand telling me.

"No need to bow , I am happy to know that Kanto has young blood like you who are willing to open their own new gyms .It's very rare and difficult to manage and open new gyms , so I approved your request and talked to the committee about it."

"Now the request is approved, and I talked to the champion about it he also showed his support in this, Congratulations!!!"

I was immediately shocked and was overjoyed to here this and was grinning ear to ear like a Gengar.

"Thank you very much, you don't know how much this means to me. Thank you very much. "

And she started shaking the chief's hand.

"No problem, here are the documents for the gym. In here everything is present that are needed for your gym, so select the area you want and the gym layout for the construction. We will give you the land documents for that area and it will be under your name permanently. Now off you go, as you and I have a lot of work to do, Don't we? "

"Yes! "I quickly replied said thank you once again and left the room.

After leaving the room I jumped up and down in excitement and start running out of the League center and shouting as loud as an Exploud.

"HURRAY...!!!!!!!"

And that's how a new gym appeared in Kanto.
