Introduced To The League Members

It's been a few months since Laila came back to her hometown. During this period Laila chose a suitable place and layout for her gym and submitted the document to the League. The construction department finished their work a two months ago and left.

A few weeks back Laila got a call from Charles Goodshow and he told her that all the other gyms in Kanto are notified that a new gym is established, and conference will be held to get know each other.

He even reminded her that, the Elite Four are also attending it, since he showed them her profile.

The conference was held in the League Center, so she again went there and attended it. And it was eventful.

Laila POV: -

Pewter City gym leader is a slightly dark skinned man who's young and named Brock , when I was introduced by the chief he came running to me , half-kneeled in front of me and held one of my hand and proposed to me , I even rejected him . By facepalming himself the chief continued to introduce everyone to me one by one. Looking at him I thought 'wierdo' and left him.

Next is Cerulean City gym, it is run by three sisters who are always talking about how beautiful they are. I am confused by their behavior. From what the chief said Brock was a Rock type Pokémon trainer and the tree sisters whose names are Daisy, Violet and Lily, run a water type Pokémon gym.

Next is Lt. Surge, he is Vermilion City gym leader, and the chief started introducing him to me

" He used to work for League special division, and he is also known as the "Lightning Lieutenant". He was a soldier who fought in at least one war, during which Electric-type Pokémon saved his life. So, after he retired, he opened a gym using his merits he collected during the war. Also, he is harsh on himself and his Pokémon because he believes that danger is everywhere, so he needs to keep himself and his Pokémon in top condition."

After the chief said that I start to walk towards him to talk and say

"Hi, I heard a lot about you from the chief."

He looks at me with a stern gaze and talks to me.

"Nice to meet you too young blood, the league needs more daring people like you than those showcases outside. I'm looking forward to your success."

I smile at him "I'll definitely live up to everyone's expectations." He looks at me and nods.

The fourth is Celadon City gym leader whose name is Erika a grass type Pokémon gym leader. She is very nice to me. She comes to me seeing that Surge's talk with me is over and says.

"Good to see more ladies in the room"

When I come near her, I smell something and thought 'A very calming smell'. Seeing me like this she says

"Aaaaa you must have a sensitive nose that scent is one of my famous perfumes I sell in Celadon city, here I have one with me you can have it as a congratulatory gift from me."

and gives me few of their cities famous perfumes to me.

"You don't have to give all these to me."

But Erika tells "Come on it not a big deal you don't have to refuse it just keep them. " after that she walks off.

The fifth is Fuchsia City gym leader. The chief starts telling me about him.

"He's name is Koga, he dresses like a ninja and is a poison type Pokémon user, and with him is her sister Janine who tagged along with him."

I walk toward him and say.

"Hi, it's good to meet you and your sister." and like that we start small conversation.

He is informative and told me many things on how to handle a gym and gives me a few tips about it.

The sixth is Saffron City gym leader who is surprisingly a young girl known as Sabrina. The chief starts to tell me about her.

"She is also Known as "The Master of Psychic Pokémon" and she possesses psychic abilities. She will have a doll with her at all time. And do not irritate her under any circumstances."

When I went to talk to her, I don't know what, but I saw myself in Sabrina and directly tell her

" Hi, I am Laila Sable I will be very happy if we could become friends."

I say that to her with the brightest smile I could ever muster. She looks at me an immediately keeps her head down hugging her doll. I suddenly thought 'Did I do anything weird' but immediately pushed away that as I see her nod slowly. Like that we connected with each other and even exchanged our personal contact numbers. Oh, and she tells me that she is a Physic type Pokémon user.

The seventh is Cinnabar Island gym leader known as Blaine. Again, the chief introduces him to me.

"Blaine's title is "The Hotheaded Quiz Master". I heard that when he once got lost in a treacherous, freezing mountain range, he was guided out of the mountains by a Moltres. Apparently, this is what inspired him to train Fire-type Pokémon. Blaine is very intelligent, so he gave many quizzes to let trainers challenge their brain. He is the most elderly gym leader so talking to him is insightful."

Hearing that I ask him advice on fire type Pokémon.

" Mr. Blaine, I heard you train fire Pokémon so I want to ask if you can give advice on how to improve my Houndoom's fire power?"

Listening to my question he tells me.

"Aaa houndoom a fine fire/dark type if I may say, but to increase its fire power it needs to first channel fire energy and store it in its body more. So, I suggest you take it to places which are hot and filled with fire Pokémon."

I thank him and he gives me a few more suggestions.

The eight is Viridian City gym leader Giovanni. Not much is there to know about him, and he even rarely talks. He just sits in the chair and rub his Pursian slowly. He gives me the creeps, so I actively ignored him.

The Elite four arrived an hour into the conference. When they arrived, the chief tells me about them.

"The current elite four are first Lorelei. She is known for her logical, calculated, and cool style of battling. Her Lapras has been with her ever since she was a child. She caught it when she was very young in the Icefall Cave."

When I go to talk to her, Lorelei gives me polite and short replies and that's it. Even talking to her was hard.

Seeing that I am having a hard time talking to Lorelei, the chief continues to talk.

"Next is Bruno a member of the Kanto Elite Four. He raises Fighting-type Pokémon, living with them and training with them. He joined the Elite Four out of a desire to challenge the best Trainers. Although he trains Fighting Pokémon, he also commonly uses Onix and its evolved form. His strongest Pokémon is always his signature Pokémon Machamp. "

After seeing me he immediately challenged me to a Pokémon battle, but the chief comes in and stops him from creating trouble. He is rash and boorish but easy to get along, so he gives me tips on Fighting Pokémon knowing the type of Pokémon I mainly use.

For the next person Charles whispers about her to me in my ear slowly.

"Next is Agatha, member of the Kanto Elite Four and the oldest known to date. As such, she serves as an inspiration for senior Pokémon Trainers all around the region. She uses Ghost-type Pokémon, and other Pokémon with horrifying appearances. She has a very short temper."

Seeing that Agatha looks at him he immediately hides. Seeing that she lets out an angry snort. But when she sees me, she gives me a satisfied nod and tells me

" I commend you for your drive to train Dark type Pokémon as I know how dangerous they can be. Good luck and if you need any help just ask me."

And she gives me her personal contact number and told to contact her if she needs any help from her. This action surprised the chief, but he understood Agatha. I thank Agatha and ask

"Um... Ms. Agatha could you see all my Pokémon that are back at Maiden's peak and tell me your opinion on them?" To which Agatha tells me she will.

"Of course, call me when you are free, and I'll check my schedule and come to you when there is time. "

"Thank you Ms. Agatha" I tell her.

"No need to call me Ms., call me Granny."

I happily call her "Thank you Granny Agatha" while smiling ear to ear. She nods at me and walks away. I don't know but when Agatha went away in her shadow, I see deep red eyes having a creepy smile staring at me. After Agatha went away the chief came back to me and tells me about the last member.

"Next is Lance, he is the fourth and final member of the Kanto Elite Four. He raises Dragon-type Pokémon, which are both hard to catch and raise. He prefers the superiority of Dragon-type Pokémon, believing them to be virtually indestructible. Known as a cool and heroic Trainer, Lance has a large fan-following. Lance also seems to have a liking for capes, as he is often seen buying identical capes at the Celadon Department Store."

Knowing that he is a dragon trainer I tell him about my Hydreigon. He gives me a surprised look because no one catches that Pokémon since they are known for their destructive tendencies. He happily talks to me about various dragon type Pokémon and gives tips on how to raise dragon Pokémon. They are very helpful in raising my Hydreigon.

Like this, the whole conference continued till night as we talked about various topics about Pokémon and their research about them.
