Chapter 47

The next day the pairings for Semi finals was refreshed and paired as Evan Vs Andrew,

Ash Vs Justin.

Somehow the finals was easier for Evan than the promotion matches he have battled so far.

Andrew used Jinx,Empoleon,Steelix,Swampert,Kingdra and Octillery.

And Evan used Gallade for the first three Pokémon where they got grass field and for the other half where they got water field he used Milotoc.

Evan and Andrew shook their hands and withdrew the battle field. Now there was a full scale battle between Ash and Justin.

"Is this the power of mega evolution?" Ash sat on the stand, holding the guardrail of the auditorium tightly with both hands.

Back to yesterday afternoon, in the second match of Semi finals, Ash who was full of confidence faced Just who just debuted less than a year ago just like Evan lose to Justin.

With the addition of Charizard, Ash used his pure Hoenn Pokémon lineup underestimatimg his opponent and thought only of Evan as worthy opponent which caused him alot.

The result turned out to be a carnage show between Mega Gardevoir and Garchomp.

The match was one sided 6-1, Justin used only his Garchomp to overthrow Ash's entire three Pokémon Pikachu, Swellow and Torcoal. Afterwards Ash's Sceptile who used leaf blade and Justin's Garchomp who used dragon claw collided,ended up loosing together.

Ash then sent his Charizard hoping for miracle but Justin's Gardevoir who mega evolved did not give Ash any opportunity to attack at all, using it's exaggerated psychic power Ash's Charizard lose the battle and lastly Ash's Corphish even lose without even getting use his move. Ash was pitiful in this way Ash's Hoenn league journey was over, the top 4 a highest ranking that Ash has obtained ever since his debutdebut, but it also made Ash even more unwilling to accept, he also got to experienced the power of Mega evolution for the first time which showed him a huge gap between a normal Pokémon and Mega Pokémon.

Back to present

Evan and Justin's championship battle in Ever grande conference Hoenn league has begun.

Evan and Justin lost their two Pokémon, the battle was fierce from the beginning even Steven, Ash and the others who were watching the battle didn't expect about it.

In the beginning, Evan's Blaziken defeated Justin's Roserade and then Blaziken was defeated with unexpected water canon from Blastoise, then Blastoise was defeated by Evan's Sceptile again, unfortunately Sceptile was again defeated by Pidgeot. The situation kept reversing.

Now both the trainers were on their third Pokémon. Evan sent out his Milotic to battle against Justin's Pidgeot.

"Milotic use rain dance!" Evan decided to change the weather.

Water field plus rain that's a paradise for Milotic.

"Pidgeot use air slash!" Justin notice Evan's desire to attack so he initiated the battle.

"Milotic quick waterfall" Evan gave his order immediately.

Milotic who was swimming freely in the water took a long stride and show a shadow rushing forward. A rushing waterfall suddenly exploded under Pidgeot's feet and send it flying back to the air and immediately afterwards Milotic swam upstream along the waterfall and hit Pidgeot with it's dragon tail.

Boom! Pidgeot fell to the ground with an injured wings.

"Pidgeot is unable to battle, Milotic wins!"

Following referee's judgement, Justin lost his third Pokémon and there was a five minute intermission.

"Justin is really a tough opponent!" In the lounge Evan sighed.

"His Garchomp and Gardevoir haven't appeared yet so be careful" Ash reminded Evan remembering his battle.

"Alright!" Evan nodded as he became serious.

Seeing the five minute was almost over Evan came back to the stadium. And the audience cheered after all today's the finals so the audience was very excited to see the champion of Every Grande Hoenn league.

"Evan let's battle to our hearts content, so that we don't leave with regrets!" Looking at Evan, Justin said with a serious face.

"Alright let's give it our all" Evan also nodded in agreement.

The venue for the second half is ice field and Justin has already sent out his Pokémon "come out Garchomp!"

Looking at the pseudo legendary Pokémon of Sinnoh Evan decided to use his pseudo legendary Pokémon "Salamence I choose you!"

"Ladies and gentlemen Evan has sent out Salamence for the first time in the tournament, it will be a fierce battle between the pseudo legendary Pokémon of Sinnoh and Hoenn." The commentator heated up the audience.

Then both side touched their keystones, Justin's keystone was on his bracelet and Evan's keystone was wore as an earring.

Evan and Justin at the same time :

"Mega Evolve"

Mega Garchomp and Mega Salamence stood opposite to each other with their domineering Aura.

[Pokémon:Salamence (mega form)

Level:Mid Champion]

Their level rose up temporary, Garchomp who was originally in Late Elite became Early Champion and Salamence who was on the verge of breakthrough from Late Elite became Mid Champion directly.

"Garchomp use dragon claw!"

"Salamence use dragon claw as well!"

They two dragon claw collided but everyone could know Salamence was clearly overwhelming against Garchomp.

As a Champion candidate Justin didn't want to give up "Garchomp use draco meteor"

"Salamence interupt Garchomp and use outrage!" Salamence interupted Garchomp with outrage but it was now confuse, but it didn't affect Evan as he used the idea of Iris in the original Anime.

"Salamence hit your head on the water" Salamence immediately got out of it's confuse state.

And Garchomp was still having a hard time.

"Salamence use dragon pulse!"

"No Garchomp dodge!" It was too late as dragon pulse hit Garchomp it came back to it's original state.

"Garchomp is unable to battle, Salamence wins!"

As Garchomp was one of his strongest Pokémon, Justin became anxious and took his Garchomp back.

"Come out Magnezone!" Justin sent his fifth Pokémon.

Level:Early King]

"Salamence return, Go Sylveon!" Evan retracted his Salamence and decided to reveal his another Pokémon. "Sylveon~"

"Wow we've got to see one of Evan's new Pokémon again!" The commentator was in full swing.

"Sylveon, mystical fire!" In the eyes full of incredulity, the floating Magnezone was knocked down by a mystical fire in one move.

Justin was in the verge of collapsing now, he couldn't believe that this cute Pokémon would deal such a damage with just one mystical fire which was very unscientific.

"Magnezone is unable to battle, Sylveon wins!" The referee with a bewilderment gave his judgement.

The battle has reach to this point, Justin's heart was basically on chaos right now,but he still decided to battle to the end and sent his Gardevoir and mega evolved it, Evan also retracted his Sylveon and send out his Gallade directly mega evolving him.

Unfortunately Mega Gardevoir couldn't defeat Mega Gallade who used signal beam to beat Gardevoir.

"Gardevoir is unable to battle, Gallade wins and the winner of the match is Evan!" The referee gave his judgement.

"The Winner of the Ever Grande Championship,Hoenn league has been decided! Trainer Evan has won all the way from preliminary to Championship only in his one year of debut, Let's congratulate Evan Stone from Rustboro city once again who have won the Championship of Hoenn league" Ever grande stadium instantly exploded and decibels and a wave of cheers.

Countless people cheered for Evan, and Evan also released his Pokémon who have worked hard in this conference except Rayquaza and Deoxys.

Surrounded by his 7 Pokémon, Salamence,

Sylveon,Milotic,Blaziken,Gallade,Sceptile and Absol,Evan held up his Championship trophy of the Hoenn league conference and accepted the award from Professor Goodshow himself.

Afterwards the top 8 of the Hoenn league took the stage together, accepted the honorary certificates awarded by the committee of the conference and accepted the cheers of the audience.

Fireworks bloomed under the beautiful sky amidst the laughter and joy, the Hoenn league conference officially came to an end.

Evan took his Pokémon to leave the photos and handprints in the hall of honor of the Hoenn league alliance for memorial.

Early in the morning

At the port of Ever Grande city, Evan and his friends bid farewell to Morrison and Tyson.

After seeing off their new friends, Evan, Steven, Ash and the siblings set up a camp preparing for lunch to have a meal before they go their own different way back home.

May and Max will go back to Petalburg city, Ash and Brock will go back to Kanto and Evan and Steven will also go back to Rustboro city before deciding his next goal.

"Here... It's done!" Brock and Evan served the freshly made riceballs on a picnic cloth, paired with a thick soup with rich ingredients, and Evan and Brock's special lunch is complete.

"Wow it's so delicious" Max didn't have particularly deep feeling as he was still a child.

May sighed "Thinking that I won't be able to eat Evan and Brock's cooking anymore,I feel sad"

"When you guys get back to your home remember to give them my greetings" Evan said with a smile, he never thought he would get entagled with the protagonists.

After lunch Evan and his friends came to the respective crossroad to bid farewell.

"Well everyone be careful on your way back!" Evan said to everyone.

"Evan, Ash, Brock and Steven although we just didn't spend more time, everyone take care of yourself!" May looked at his travelling companions reluctantly.

"Although we are bidding farewell if our fate led us to meet, we'll meet again some day!" Evan said to everyone.

"Take care if yourself everyone and thank you for taking care of Evan all this time" Steven was thankful that Evan met such a good friends.

The journey to participate in the Hoenn league has come to an end, and the new trip will continue soon.
