Now on the Pokémon contest battle, May vs Harley, She can not only advance but settle the score with Harley.

The rules of the Pokémon contest battle is different this time, it's not longer a battle of singles but a double battle with a limited time of 5 minutes, which further tests the tacit understanding between the coordinator and their Pokémon.

May sent a combination of Beatifly and Bulbasaur. And Harley used the same Cacturne and Banette he used to perform before.

Originally, Harley had never defeated May in the original, let alone May who had been training with Evan.

In the end, May defeated Harley by the combination attack of Razor leaves and Silver wind, successfully advancing to top 16.

On Evan's side, he used the combination of dark and psychic Pokémon, Absol and Gallade to easily deafeat the passers-by, successfully entering to top 16.

In the second Contest battle,Evan, May, Drew and Robert all met passersby. May used her Swablu and Munchlax, whereas Evan used Gallade and Sceptile , they both successfully defeated the passers-by and advanced to top 8.

"May, the pairings for the third round of Contest battle seems to have been decided" Caroline walked towards May and said.

"Yeah... It's Drew" May responded firmly. Drew has been her biggest rival since her debutdebut, a fateful battle from the beginning.

However,Evan and Robert still met a passers-by,Evan used the combination of Sceptile and Blaziken, easily defeating his opponent and advancing to top 4. After his contest battle Evan joined his family and his friends in the auditorium to cheer for May and watch the battle of May vs Drew, her biggest rival!.

"Let the battle begin!" Vivian announced.

"Blaziken, Skitty, let's get on stage!" May sent out her strongest combination in order to battle Drew.

"Combusken has evolved into a Blaziken?" Drew looked at the final form of torchic and sighed "Roselia, Flygon , come out!"

"This is Drew's new Pokémon!" May frowned as she looked at Drew's Flygon.

"I specially trained Flygon for this day!" Obviously Drew also attached great importance in the battle between May and himself, He even used his Trump card to battle against May he has hidden.

In Evan's eyes, although Flygon maybe strong but it was four times weak against skitty's blizzard and Roselia is even supressed with type advantage.

"Roselia, petal dance!" As Drew ordered Roselia emitted pink petals and then shouted "Flygon now!"

Flygon flew at a high speed under the cover of petal dance towards Blaziken.

"Blaziken fire spin attack" May countered petal dance easily which forced Flygon to fly above who was charging under the cover of petal dance.

"You can't escape, Blaziken bounce and use blaze kick!" May directly seized the opportunity and ordered immediately.

Blaziken jumped up and hit Flygon to the ground with Blaze kick from the sky.

Drew didn't expect May to make such a huge progress to counter his moves easilyeasily, he gritted his teeth and ordered his next move "Flygon flame thrower! Roselia solar beam!"

For a flygon who was a dragon type blaze kick was a small injury, it immediately sprayed flame thrower and the bud in the hand of Roselia also gathered a large amount of solar energy directly shooting against against May's Pokémon.

"Alright Blaziken use flame charge and the sky uppercut!" May directly commanded recklessly.

Blaziken charged with flame charge and took flame thrower and solar beam head on, adding fire with fire Flame charge became even more stronger, then hit Flygon and used sky uppercut making Flygon to fall to the ground.

As May countered Drew's combination attack successfully, Drew's score began to drop by half already.

Flygon flapped it's wings bringing a sandstorm blocking overheat and blizzard barely. Roselia rode Flygon to the sky only then did they avoid the attack of fire and ice.

The perfect coordinated escape caused May's point to drop.

"It's exhausting, Skitty use assist" As everyone was looking forward what kind of attack assist will bring, Assist brought whine whip which May needed exactly although it was easily dodge by Flygon, May had another idea.

"Blaziken use bounce and use whine whip to bounce again, then Sky uppercut" Blaziken bounced twice and charged towards Flygon and hit it with Sky uppercut forcing Flygon to fall down.

"Roselia use petal dance! Flygon steel wing! " Drew still didn't give up. Time was less than 30 seconds.

"Times up, Congratulations to May who has advanced to semi finals!" Vivian announced the result and May reached the semi finals changing the original plot.

And the audience cheered for May and Drew.

"I won, I defeated Drew!" In the lounge May found Evan and shared her excitement.

In this battle May gave her all might, seized many opportunities eventually defeated Drew her biggest rival.

Evan also congratulated May with a smile "you did well, May!"

"Hehe... Thanks Evan!" May thanked sincerely.

"May the pairings for finals are out!" At this Max came over and said with a little disappointment "May, the pairing for semi finals is between you and Evan!"

Of course, May didn't give up "Blaziken use overheat! and Skitty use Charm after the overheat!"

At this moment, the dazzling energy ball combined rainbow signal beam collided with overheat and Skitty's charm affected Sceptile after the collision.

"Now Blaze kick!" May seized the opportunity,and Blaziken used Blaze kick to directly hit Sceptile which was effective.

Evan smile and said "May you are in a hurry! Sceptile use the move we've been practicing hard, Frenzy plant! And Gallade use slash!"

"Sceptile~~" "Gallade~" Sceptile punched the ground and several countless vines emerged from the ground blocking flame thrower and blizzard. And Gallade use it's agile body and charged through frenzy plants, and has already arrived in front of Blaziken and Skitty slashing it's opponent.

"Hypnosis" Evan didn't let go of the opportunity.

"No, don't look" unfortunately May was a step late, Blaziken and Skitty has already fell asleep.

"Sceptile use solar beam on Skitty! Gallade use psycho cut on Blaziken!" "Sceptile~" "Gallade~", The two Pokémon concentrated on their energy and hit the sleeping Skitty and Blaziken, at this time future sight also arrived at Blaziken.

May lost all her points and Evan successfully advanced to Finals.

Evan's final opponent in the Finals is a handsome blonde Robert. The first time Evan met Robert was in the Slateport Pokémon contest. And cheers erupted looking forward to see a birth of the champion.

"I guess everyone has noticed that one Nurse Joy is missing!"

"Yes! Is Nurse Joy late?" The audience immediately started discussing between themselves.

"Nurse Joy is not in danger, is she? If she is, I, Brock is coming to save you!" Brock stood up excitedly.

"How can nurse Joy be in danger, if she was Vivian wouldn't be so calm" Max stopped Brock pulling down by his ear.

Seeing the heated audience Vivian stopped being mysterious and said with a smile "Now let's invite our special guest to be the judge for the finals,Magnificence Champion Wallace!"
