Leaving the Sootopolis city, Evan and his friends were going to Pacifidlog town for a Gorgeous Pokémon contest.And then they found there was a novice Pokémon contest being held in a certain town

May and his friends rushed to a small town in order to let May participate in the novice level Gorgeous Pokémon Contest.

As an experience Coordinator and not having a worthy rival for May, She won her fourth ribbon, needing only one more ribbon medal in order to join Grand Festival.

After the contest in a small town, Evan and others finally arrived at Pacifidlog town.

"Pheww~I thought we wouldn't be able to catch up with the contest!" May said as they arrived at the Pokémon center in Pacifidlog town.

"As long as you win your fifth ribbon in Pacifidlog Contest, you'll be able to participate in a Grand Festival" Evan encouraged May.

"What about you Evan, you also needed one more ribbon in order to participate right?" Max asked Evan.

"Don't worry about me, I heard there will be one more Pokémon contest in the Rustboro city, and May you should try your best in this Contest if you lose the Pacifidlog ribbon,I won't be showing mercy in the Rustboro contest" Evan reassured them and took out a fishing rod and said "let's go fishing!"

"Why? " May asked.

"Just maybe we can get lucky and find some good water Pokémon" Evan said reassurely.

Finding a location, Evan threw out the bait, Ash with his Misty's bait followed the suit while May and others sat beside Evan.

"Before I knew it, it's been almost half a year since I started my journey" Evan said feeling nostalgic.

"That's right it's been a long time" May and the others nodded in agreement.

Suddenly the fishing road moved.

"Here we come, it took the bait" When he pulled up the bait, it was a Crawdaunt with two Feebas on it's pincers.

"A Crawdaunt! and two Feebas" May was taken aback.

"Milotic come out save those Feebas" Milotic came out and used hydro pump and Crawdaunt was sent flying leaving the two feebas on the port.

"May why don't you catch a Feebas, if you breed it well Feebas will evolve into a gorgeous milotic you know and it'll be useful for your future contest! " Evan let May catch a Feebas and decided to catch the other Feebas for himself although he already got a Milotic.

And without wasting time Evan and May threw their Pokéball and Feebas didn't resist so they caught it easily.

"Great Evan we caught a Feebas! " May happily danggled on her poké ball.

In the setting sun, they decided to head back to a Pokémon center to rest, in order to spend the night.

The next day, the morning sun shone on Pacifidlog town by the sea. In order to participate in the Pokémon Contest May was adjusting her Pokémon early in the morning.

"I didn't expect there would be many people" Max said as he looked at the dense crown on the beach.

"Well that's to be expected, with one month left before the Grand Festival this is a chance to earn one more ribbon" Evan explained to Max briefly.

"Seems like May is very motivated,i guess she'll be fine in the Pokémon contest" Ash nodded.

"Well, I'm fired up too" Ash took out Snorunt's Poké ball "well let's work on your ice beam before the Hoenn league, Snorunt! "

When Evan was sight seeing the coordinators and their Pokémon suddenly an ice beam flew passed his scalp.

"Ash!! Are you trying to kill me now! " Evan yelled at Ash.

Suddenly Ash's snorunt started shooting ice beam indiscriminately on many coordinators and Pokémon on the beach. It was chaos.

Suddenly May and her skitty got lost as they ran away from chaos created my Snorunt.

"I'll go look for May and Skitty, let's go Sylveon and Gallade" Evan released his Sylveon and Gallade to find May.

As they walked, He sighted May and a guy with light green hair talking while drinking coffee.

Seeing them Evan was hesitating whether to go forward or not, when he suddenly heard the voice of a distraught girl "so saying you were going to train alone for a week was to chat with a girl huh!"

"It's a misunderstanding, we just met and she's a coordinator too" A green haired guy named Joshua tried to explain.

"Huh just her? Relying on this skitty she's definitely not a match for my lovely Jynx" A girl named Erica mocked May.

Looking at the scene Evan stepped forward "so you were here May!,I guess that girl is accusing you as that guy's girlfriend.Let's go the registration for the contest has already started or else the misunderstanding will only grow bigger" Evan said with an annoyed expression.

After saying that Evan took away May from the couple and went to a Pokémon contest.

"Ladies and gentlemen your patience have finally paid off because your Pacifidlog Pokémon contest is about to begin!" Vivian held up the microphone and announced the start of the Pokémon contest.

In the lounge, May was staring at the at Erica and Joshua smiled awkwardly.

"Evan is it really okay for you to accompany us in the auditorium" Ash asked Evan.

"Yes it doesn't matter, I'll do my best in the last contest of Rustboro Pokémon contest" Evan replied calmly.

At the first round Jessie showed a beautiful performance of sculpting with meowth.

Next , Joshua used a combination of using dark pulse and swift creating a remarkable performance.

Erica and her Jynx also created a unique performance with the combination of Blizzard and psychic.

In the end, May and her Skitty used assist and with Razor leaves, blizzard and double slap creating a unique performance.

The first round ended, Evan, Ash and others came to a lounge.

May was sitting on the bench to rest.

"It was a great performance May!" Ash praised May's performance.

"Hehe.. Thank you! " May thanked happiness.

Evan frowned slightly looking at Erica and Joshua who walked over from the other side.

Soon the results fir the second round announced and Jessie, Joshua, Erica and May advanced to semi finals.

After a pairing match up Erica met Jessie and May got paired up with Joshua.

Erica defeated Jessie as she got disqualified by cheating with meowth, successfully advancing to Finals.

The second match was between May and Joshua.

Before the start of the match Erica raran towards May to mock "you can't beat Joshua, we've been training together for this contest for a long time"

May was really angry "just keep your relationship to yourself, do you think there's only Joshua in this world?, I just want to participate in the contest and win aribbon fair and square, that's all"

May entered the stage angrily, later May defeated Joshua by overwhelming flame thrower with Blizzard.

In the final round, May and Erica fought for the Pacifidlog ribbon,and May successfully defeated the annoying girl with a fire spin of Skitty's assist winning her fifth ribbon.

After May's successfully winning her fifth ribbon, Evan and his friends are boarding a ship towards Rustboro city.
