Chapter 32

In order to go to the next city, Sootopolis city, Evan and his friends are walking through the foothills of a certain steep Rocky Mountain.

"Oh I can't walk anymore" May panted and laid on the rock.

"Cheer up, once we cross across the bridge we'll reach a small town" Brock encouraged May.

"Yes May, you are lying on the rock with your butt up like an unlady" Max shook his head and said.

"By the what's the name of the town" Ash asked Brock.

"It's a small town called, Riado town" Brock responded.

"Look it's a bridge" Max shoutes as he spotted the bridge.

"As long as you cross the bridge you'll arrive at the Riado town" Brock nodded with certainty.

"Great! " May couldn't help cheering.

Boom!

No one expected that just two jump of pikachu would make the bridge collapsed.

"Pikachu! " Ash rushed up anxiously.

Pikachu then jumped vigorously from a crumbling bridge landing on Ash's face.

"Ash are you okay!" Brock asked awkwardly.

"I think so.. " Ash shook his dizzy head.

When they were lamenting sudden a Pokémon with a snow white body and a scimitar like horn appeared at the place where the bridge broke.

"It's Absol!" Max recognized the Pokémon.

"I didn't expect to meet such a Pokémon in this place" May quickly took out her Pokédex.

"Absol, the disaster Pokémon. It lives deep in the mountains and never appeared in front of human, when Absol appears it's said that the disaster will occur"

"I found it, Damn absolabsol, you destroyed another bridge again" At this moment several villagers appeared with a stick in front of everyone.

"You scourge, you destroyed another bridge again!! " The villagers holding a stick yelled angrily.

Absol just glanced at the villagers,then turned around and left.

Evan and his friends followed the villagers to the chief's house.

"You said Absol was bringing disaster to your village?" Evan asked with a smile.

"That's right Absol never comes down from a mountain, ever since it appeared one month ago the villagers are facing troubles,Absol been destroying bridges, it's not like the pokédex said at all it doesn't show the sign of disaster but instead creating a disaster itself! " The village chief said with a serious face.

"I don't believe any Pokémon would do that" Max retorted.

"Haven't you been listening boy!" Village head also said with a serious face.

"How stupid! " Evan stood up right away "just like Max said it might been helping you by giving signs to avoid the disaster but instead you are blaming Absol instead."

"What do you mean, Absol has already destroyed three bridges" The village head complained.

"Well then I'll be catching Absol, don't complain about the upcoming disaster later alright!" Evan said as he clasped his hands.

"Okay it's a deal!" Village head was overjoyed to hear that.

"Let's go, it's waste of time to persuade them anyway" Evan took Ash and the others to find Absol.

"Wait, I can show you the way!" At this time a kid named Nicky came up.

And Nicky explained that his elder brother, Gorden did not believe that Absol caused disaster so he wanted to conquer it to prove to the villager.

However maybe his was stretched, after he entered the mountain he never returned.

At the highest point of the mountain, Evan and his friends found Absol.

"Sylveon, come out" Evan sent out his Sylveon for a conquering battle.

"Sylveon use dazzling gleam" Evan ordered as dark type Pokémons are weak against fairy type moves.

Absol also fought back using night slash, with Sylveon's continuous use of fairy wind and dazzling gleam Absol was tired and Evan took the opportunity and threw Luxury ball directly.

After fighting for about 8 minutes Evan successfully conquered Absol.

Just after Evan's conquering battle, suddenly the entire rock wall exploded and a huge stream of water gushes out.

"It's an underground water vein, if a lot of water comes out the village will be submerged" Evan said to the villagers, who followed them to watch the conquering battle.

"Evan that huge rock should be able to block the water flow! " Ash pointed to the huge rock far away.

"Understood, come out Sceptile, Blaziken and Gallade join Sylveon, Sylveon use moonblast, Gallade psycho but, Sceptile energy ball and Blaziken use Overheat"

Boom! Under the eyes of everyone, the huge rock fell down completely blocking the rushing water towards the village.

After conquering Absol they continues their journey, after crossing the foothills and sleeping in the mountains for one night, Evan and his friends suddenly felt the temperature drop.

"This section is really a snowfield section, it looks like there would be a lot of snow type Pokémon" Max reminded everyone enthusiastically.

"Let's go to the Pokémon center first, while the weather is fine." Brock pointed to the Pokémon center not far away.

Entering the Pokémon center everyone breathes a sigh of relief.

"Everyone came in the right time!" Nurse Joy stood behind the counter and greeted everyone with a smile.

Just when Brock was flirting with Nurse Joy, suddenly a snorunt appeared in front of them and freezed Brock.

"This is Snorunt, who like to play pranks on guests, He comes to Pokémon center everytime new guests arrive" Nurse Joy explained enthusiastically.

"Wait not my badge! " When nurse Joy was explaining suddey Snorunt took Ash's badge box and ran away.

"Ash why don't you conquer it, he seems to like you very much" Evan said sourly, holding a hot cocoa on the chair and began to watch Ash's conquering battle against Snorunt.

Unsurprisingly Ash conquered Snorunt and also got his Badges back.

After spending their time at Pokémon center waiting for the weather to subside and started travelling again.

As they went on their road, Max met Ralts and Evan lend him a Friend ball which wasn't bound by alliance.

Max caught his first Pokémon Ralts without sweating.

Evan, Ash and the party finally boarded a ferry to Sootopolis city.The eight badge is just ahead!!!
