Pokemon: Blood Bonds

Twenty-two years old, a young man named Alan dies but is born in a new world due to his good karma. What world, you may ask? Of course, it's the world of Pokemon. Will he keep his memories? Will he get a system or a cheat like other Mc's? Well, you will have to read to find out. Follow Alan on his journey in the world of pokemon. ***Disclaimer*** I am not knowledgeable about pokemon games and this is how I always imagine myself in the world of pokemon. The story will be slow as I don't want the mc to grow super op in just few chapters. I hope you give my book a chance. I do not own anything related to pokemon except my Oc characters.

Eeveelution.

[Let's change it to Meteor Fall?] Eve suggested a name change for the thousandth time.

But Alan decided to change the topic for the thousandth time.

"Would it be enough?"

[I don't think so.]

"Go ahead, do your best."

"Huh?" [Huh?]

They both looked towards Stella, who had just spoken.

"I will wait, do your best and give me your strongest...," she said before taking a small pause and speaking with an awkward face, "...Heaven's Fall? Your naming sense is just as good as your father."

She shook her head at the weird names Alex had given to their implemented moves.

"It's a great name," complimented Alex with a proud face.

[It is not] "oh, please."

Both pokemon shook their heads before Eve looked towards Alan.

[Ready?]

Alan nodded his head, and a blue Aura started appearing around him before his whole body was covered in it.

He closed his eyes and took a deep breath in.

This was not an official match where only a pokemon can fight against a pokemon. This fight from the beginning had no rules, and since it had no rules, it was time for Alan to be part of it. In the same way, Alex had taken part in it, though he was just chilling and enjoying while he lay on top of Stella's head.

Alan opened his eyes which were now glowing red; his gaze was enough to pierce through anything in front of him.

He looked at the Mega Steelix, who was standing proudly before him.

A dense black aura was spread around it, and no other colour like that of other pokemons could be seen. It was as if a black hole had appeared, absorbing all light and leaving behind nothing but darkness.

His eyes hurt the more he looked at it.

He immediately turned away and did what he was meant to do at the moment. He pressed down on the ground and shot himself towards the meteor held by Eve in the air.

[My energy reserves will run out, so you will have to hurry]

Heaven's fall was strong, but the energy consumption was just as much. It was not as developed as other moves making it less stable, and hence more energy was needed to control it.

Alan used the meteor as a footing and shot back towards the ground. Like a small meteor covered in blue fire, he struck the ground and created a loud explosion.

*BOOM*

The ground once again split open, and the rocks started flying everywhere. Eve who was waiting for this, gathered all the rocks with her Psychic and made them a part of the meteor.

Alan did not stop for even a second and kept destroying the forest all around him. The pokemon had already run away after Stella had made an appearance.

Soon a large clearing was made by Alan as the ground was nothing but a large pit created by Alan to power Heaven's Fall.

"I think this should be the limit," he said before looking at the meteor, which had grown twice its size.

Eve who was keeping it all together, nodded her head as she too had reached the limits of her control, and her energy had almost depleted.

[Ready?] she asked once again.

Alan, who was also covered in sweat and dust, nodded his head before shooting towards his father and his pokemon.

"Hoh?" Alex smiled as he saw Alan coming towards them, "be careful; they are up to one of those 'weird' things they do."

"Don't worry."

Just as Alan reached his opponents, Eve threw the meteor up into the air rather than towards her opponents.

She landed back on the ground, breathing heavily as she looked at the meteor, which had reached its peak and was now falling towards Stella.

"It is strong, but it takes time to use, not something you can use during a battle unless your opponent is a fool," commented Stella as she analyzed the meteor that was dropping towards her.

The pressure released by that meteor was enough to lock a weak pokemon in its place, while if someone with the same level as Eve was hit by it, death was the last thing they would have to worry about. But just like Stella said, it was so slow to cast and slow in its speed that anyone could dodge it if they were strong enough.

She, however, stood her ground and waited for it to come her way.

The meteor reached her after a few seconds, and as soon as it did, she waved her tail and destroyed it into pieces which created a dust cloud everywhere. The shattered rocks blasted off in all directions.

Alan, who was already running towards them, dodged them all or would punch them out of his way if he couldn't. When he reached close to Stella and Alex, he jumped up before someone landed on his head and used it to jump even higher.

It was none other than Eve, who was already running as soon as she saw the meteor crash into her opponent.

She was now right in front of Stella, who was surprised when she saw Eve charge an Iron Tail.

[This is for Shin] she said as she swung her tail at Stella with everything she had.

"You!"

*Bang*

The Iron Tail hit Stella in the face with a loud bang, but unfortunately, it did not do any damage. But Eve and Alan showed a satisfied expression as they both landed back on the ground while panting for breath.

"Well done!"

[But we lost]

And both dropped to the ground, out of energy and Aura.

Just when Alan thought everything had come to an end, he saw Eve starting to glow in light blue colour.

"Eve?"

"Don't disturb her; she is evolving," said Alex as he walked towards them both, "use that Psychic Orb now; this is the best moment for her to absorb it."

'I am surprised you let her hit you,' he said in his mind.

'She needed some stimulus to evolve; what better than taking a small revenge?'

'From what I remember, you destroyed a whole Aggron tribe just because he tried to hit you.'

'Who knew they would go down in one Dragon Breath?'

Alex shook his head and turned his attention back towards Eve and Alan, prepared to help if something went wrong, though he knew nothing would.

Alan hurriedly took out the box where Alex had placed the Psychic orb years ago. It was still the same, and without any further delays, Alan placed the orb in front of Eve.

As if on instinct? Eve bit the orb and swallowed it whole.

The light coming out from her brightened even more than before. As if a sun was being born, the light rays danced around her, creating a unique harmony.

The afternoon sun shone upon her as if it was blessing her with its rays.

It did not take long before the light dispersed and Eve appeared in front of everyone's eyes.

She no longer had her fur or fluffy tail, unlike before. Her body colour changed to pink; she had a small red jewel between her eyebrows; her tail was now long and slender but split into two at the end.

Her eyes turned purple, just like when she used her move Psychic.

[Is this?]

"Espeon," said Alan as he looked at the evolved Eve. They both looked at each other with surprise and happiness before turning towards Alex and Stella.

"Thank you."

[I am grateful]

"Congratulations on your evolution," said both Alex and Stella before Alex pointed at something else with a knowing face, "you should check yourself; you might find something has upgraded."

Alan and Eve immediately checked for the changes, and just like Alex had said, something did change. It was none other than Eve's potential, along with the levels she had gained from that evolution and the excess energy left by the orb.

Alan saw Eve radiate Violet fumes when he activated his God Eyes.

She had upgraded from Light Violet to Violet during her evolution. But that confused Alan the most; how could Eve upgrade her potential so easily? It was true that the Psychic Orb was powerful, but it was not enough for Eve to raise her potential by one grade in the violet stage.

As if sensing their confusion, Stella gave them the answer, "that orb you used, I sensed Rio's energy from it. It should be him who added some of his energy before the orb was handed to you."

Alan heard what Stella said and looked towards his father for answers.

"What she said is true," Alex nodded his head, "when you handed the orb to me, Rio added some of his energy into the orb so it could help Eve. It was his reward to you both for reaching second place in the tournament."

"Is Rio strong?" asked Alan, but. he clicked his tongue on the stupid question.

"I can't even come close to the level big brother is at," replied Stella proudly at how strong her big brother was.

"Can I meet him? I want to thank him for this," said Alan with a serious face.

"I want to thank him as well," said Eve.

"You can't see him yet," replied Alex to their disappointment.

"Wait, you can speak?" said Alan as he turned towards Eve, who could not speak in proper human tongue.

"I just noticed that too," she said.

"Psychic pokemon are very intelligent, and hence they learn Human speech even before they reach a certain level," explained Alex before he waved his hand and suddenly threw something at Alan, "Catch!"

It was the rock he had silently taken from before.

Alan, who was unprepared, suddenly brought his hands in front of him to cover his face. But the rock he was waiting for never came.

He removed his hands and saw the rock floating in the air, right in front of his face. With a small sigh, he looked at Eve.

"Thank you," he said and turned towards his father, "what was that for?"

"Alan," said Eve as she looked at him with a small smile, knowing what had just happened, "congratulations!"

"Maybe you should thank me instead," said Alex as he looked at Alan.

"Why?" asked Alan with a confused look before he realized something.

"You are slow sometimes," said Eve, who saw Alan realizing the truth.

Alan waved his hand, and the rock floated towards him slowly. Then he waved his hand again, and the rock started flying around wherever he wanted it to be.

"Is this what I think it is?"

"The ability you got from Eve is none other than her Innate Skill: Psychic," answered Alex as he saw the rock float around Alan, "it is one of the rarest skills you can get among few others. You should start training it as soon as you can since, with this skill, you can be considered a half-psychic," he joked about the last part.

"Let's go back now; your mom would be waiting with the food, and others should be there now as well," said Alex as he walked towards the way they came.

"Wait," said Stella before she looked at Alan, "since Rio gave you a gift, I don't want him to be the only one to brag about it."

She raised her head high and channelled all her energy into one of the metals floating around her.

The metal started changing colours before settling back down after nearly ten minutes.

It then floated towards Alan and landed in his hands, "this Metal Coat is a gift from me to you; use it wisely."

As soon as she said that, she disappeared into the Pokeball strapped on Alex's waist with four others beside her's.

"She is shy when it comes to things like these," said Alex with a small smile, "keep that Metal Coat safe, you might not know but this might as well be the best one out in the world."

His words shocked Alan as he clenched it tightly and placed it in the box that held the Psychic Orb before.

"I need a worthy pokemon on which I can use this," he said thinking about all the pokemons that needed a Metal Coast to evolve. Only two pokemons came to his mind and he already knew which one he wanted in his team.

"Let's go," said Alex once again and Eve returned to her pokeball for rest while Alan and Alex walked back towards the Oak mansion.

"So, what did you learn today?" questioned Alex.

"That you are stronger than I thought you were since just the sixth pokemon on your team is at least pseudo-Champion. Stella radiated the same, if not stronger pressure than the Urasing corpse Eve had eaten."

Alex gave a small laugh at his son's words, neither confirming nor denning the claims.

"And that nothing is impossible in this world, we just don't know how to do it," he said with a serious face as this was the most important thing he learned from his father today.

"Then let me ask you one final question," said Alex with a sly smile.

"Is it impossible..."

He said, gaining all of Alan's attention with that one word, 'impossible.'

"...to make a blood bond with another pokemon?"

Alan paused in his footsteps while Alex just gave a sly smile and kept walking ahead.

For the next few hours, Alan just stood in the middle of a forest thinking about the question his father had just asked him.

"Is it really possible to Blood Bond with another pokemon?" he asked himself before he looked at the pokeball of Shin that was strapped on his waist. But then another question appeared in his mind.

"Has he already done it?" he asked himself looking in the direction his father had left. His eyes sparkled in joy as he was now even more excited than before.

"Since nothing is impossible," he said before he started walking towards the Oak Mansion with a determined face.

"Might as well find about it myself."

I hope you all are doing well.

Enjoy the Chapter!

Peace!
