CHAPTER 125 – MY FIRST POKEMON OF ALOLA

I must be honest with you, first of all, my goal to go to the beach was not only the Water-type Pokémon but I also wanted to take advantage of the situation and strengthen ties with Lana, I want to build my relationships with these girls little by little and for this I have to start by creating opportunities, and what better way to create them than to take advantage of their tastes? Lana's Popplio approached the other Popplio and they both greeted each other.

"Brother they're gorgeous, I can't wait to grow up to have my own Pokémon!" – Molly said with some envy.

"Huh, why such a rush to grow up? I want you to keep tlike this forever" - I said with a smile.

"It doesn't matter if I grow up brother, I'll remain your lovely little sister forever!" – Molly said giving me a hug.

I also hugged her as the boys looked at us with a smile.

"I'm glad you get along so well, but we have to go to the beach, why don't you pick your Pokémon and then continue?" – said the professor with a smile.

"You're right, Selene choose one first" – I nodded.

"Are you sure you want me to choose first?" - asked Selene somewhat confused.

"Yes, I already have a lot of Pokémon and I'm not going to deprive you of the opportunity to choose between 3 and not 2" – I nodded.

"Thank you, let's see..." – said Selene.

Then she approached the three little ones who looked curiously at Selene, one could not know what they were thinking, maybe they were interested in her, maybe they are just curious or just don't care, but all that does not matter, friendship can be forged with time.

"Good choice, Litten is a very powerful Pokémon, plus I'm surprised that he's so comfortable with you, it's usually hard to make friends with a Litten but it seems that you got it the first time, you will definitely be an excellent trainer" – said the professor cheerfully.

"Thank you!" – Selene nodded.

"Well, now it's your turn Ash" – said the professor.

"Yes" – I nodded.

Then I approached the remaining two, but as soon as I got close the Rowlet flew and landed on my head.

The Popplio for her part also rubbed her head against my leg.

"Wow, it looks like they didn't think about it for a second ... I don't normally do but since you're not a newbie... I guess you can keep both Pokémon" - said the professor.

I was surprised and was going to reject because whenever you start an adventure the professor gives you only one Pokémon while the other two would be for other trainers.

But then I looked at poor Popplio who looked at me with a pitiful face while the Rowlet had climbed into my backpack and began to sleep as if he didn't care what was going on.

"I know that normally newbies only get one started Pokémon, but they both seem to like you, I don't want to deprive them of being your Pokémon if they have already grown fond of you, you can have them both" – said the professor giving me the two Pokéball.

"Okay" – I nodded as I picked up the Pokéball.

Then I put them away and picked up little Popplio from the ground.

"Thank you Professor Kukui" – I thanked.

"You're welcome, it's a pleasure" – said the professor with a smile.

"Wow, you finally got two Pokémon!" – Mallow said in surprise as she approached me.

"Look Ash, now we both have a Popplio! isn't that incredible?" – Lana exclaimed delighted.

"Congratulations Ash" - said Lillie.

Lillie tried to get as close as she could, but since I had Popplio in my arms she stopped halfway, I promise I will cure her, anyway, it seems that with this simple action the girls got excited, have I won more points with this unintentional action? I hope so.

Before I say anything, I must say that the Pokémon that accompany me today are the same as the other day adding Rowlet and Popplio to the list.
