Training starts early?!

Jasmine has just left the hotel, and Finn heads into their room followed by Emelia who has been rambling on and on about how excited she is. Finn immediately lays down on his bed and tries to fall asleep, hoping that he can see his sister again if he sleeps. Emelia spends the next 10 minutes laying down in her bed speaking aloud asking questions to Finn.

Emelia "So... what do you think our journey is going to be like? Do you think we will battle Jasmine as our first gym? What if we lose? What if we win? Oh I'm so excited!"

Finn turns his head towards Emelia keeping his eyes closed. "You know I can't answer any of those questions right?"

Emelia "Rude..... I was just asking hypotheticals."

Finn rolls back over "What I do know is.... the faster you go to sleep, the faster you will see."

Emelia opens her eyes wide with realization and turns her head over and goes to sleep. Finn then tries to calm his mind to see if maybe that will work and he'll see his sister again. He starts to drift off when he hears someone whisper his name. He snaps up and looks at Emelia who is sound asleep. Finn then gets up and walks to the window and opens it. He looks around and hears what sounds like zapping. Finn looks down and sees a trainer and a Pokémon fighting a tree.

Finn "Well. Since I can't sleep I might as well go and see what the commotion is about. Let's go Ace." Eevee jumps off of the bed and into Finn's hood. Finn stops in his tracks, "Do you always have to just jump into my hood like that, every time?" Eevee just nods her head. "(sighs) Fine, just don't knock me over again, ok?" She just stands there and looks at him. Finn squints at her. "Whatever."

Finn walks out of the hotel and heads around to the back of the hotel to find a normal battlefield with a trail to its side leading into the forest. Finn starts down the path and as the closer he gets, the louder and clearer the sounds get. As he walks from behind a tree he can see a trainer and his Pokémon. It looks like they are practicing a move but it seems like it won't work.

The trainer is taller than both Finn and Emelia by at least 5 inches. Black scruffy hair and purple eyes. He is wearing a black jacket with a purple liner and a purple hood. His jeans are all torn up but don't look faded, as if he may have cut them himself. He has on black sneakers and seems to be quick to emotions by the fact that he looks like he has changed moods 5 times since Finn has gotten there.

Unknown trainer "C'mon Shinx. I believe in you, let's go! Use Thunder Fang!" The Shinx runs up to a tree trying to charge its electricity into its mouth and it starts to work. Right as the Shinx is about to hit the tree the electricity vanishes and Shinx smacks the tree. Finn, surprised by the fact that everything that could've gone wrong did go wrong, blurts out "Oh my gosh!" The unknown trainer turns around "Who's there?"

After hearing this Finn walks out from behind the tree and walks over to the trainer. "You having some troubles buddy?" The trainer gets angry and walks over to Finn and attempts to grab his shirt but Finn moves out of the way. At this time Shinx runs over and growls at Finn, when she hears the growling, Eevee jumps out of Finn's hood and stands in front of Shinx. "How about we calm down. I could see that you were having some trouble trying to learn a move, so I came out to help. If you don't want my help I can just leave."

Finn starts to walk away when he gets stopped by the trainer. "If you are offering help I'll take all that I can get. My name is Michael by the way what's yours?"

Finn "My name is Finn and this is Ace, as you can see she's raring to go. So how about a battle and we see how you guys do and we can give mutual criticism?"

Michael "That works for me but don't get scared if you get beat in one hit."

Finn "Ight let's get to it. Go Ace!

Eevee and Shinx square each other up before making a move. Michael breaks the stalemate, by calling out "Since you aren't going to make a move then I'll go first. Shinx use tackle!"

Shinx starts running at Eevee but she doesn't move as Finn hasn't made a call yet. Shinx running closer and closer as the seconds go by and right as Shinx is about to make contact "Ace sand attack and then dodge." Right as Shinx is about to hit dirt and dust particles come flying at Shinx's face and makes it so that it can't see and Ace dodges to the right.

Shinx now is trying to wipe it's eyes so it can see. "Ace use tackle then run behind it." Ace comes running in for a tackle and hits her mark knocking Shinx over causing a lot of damage because it couldn't protect itself and then Ace runs behind it waiting for the next call.

Michael "Come on Shinx you can do it. Now, wipe your eyes turn around and use tackle until fail." Shinx makes sure that it can see before turning around to charge at Eevee. Finn calls out to Eevee "Ace dodge all of their attacks until I say so." Shinx and Eevee go hand in hand dodging tackles for a minute or two when Michael starts getting impatient.

Michael "Shinx even if we can't win all I want from you is to hit Eevee once so let's make it count pal." Right at this moment Eevee looks at Finn wondering what the plan is and after she dodges one more time, Finn nods and she stops moving. Michael calls out "Shinx I believe in you, all you've got. Put everything into this one let's go." Shinx starts to run but as it does electricity starts to surround it and makes it move a little faster. Then the electricity transfers from Shinx's legs to it's mouth and Shinx then uses Thunder Fang.

Right as Shinx is about to make contact Finn calls out one more time to Eevee. "Ace jump now!" Shinx then narrowly misses Eevee and hits the same tree that they were trying to hit earlier and puts a hole through the side of it and knocks it over. Finn starts to walk away and says to Eevee "Ace we're done here. Let's get inside and get some rest. Oh and Michael...congrats on the new move" After saying this Eevee jump into his hood and Finn raises up his right hand and gives a thumbs up to Michael and Shinx.
