The Decision - Doctor POV

I have never seen such a plague before, it causes all kinds of symptoms that help one another in a way that's hard to describe. It spreads through touch from what I've heard and seen the past 2 days I've been here, and it does it at an extremely fast rate causing someone to be infected in hours, but that's where it gets.....confusing. Instead of immediately showing symptoms or showing them after a day or two in which they would show signs if it was a normal disease...It takes 3 days just for the exhaustion and maybe 2 days for the rest.

It's almost like it was just waiting or spreading, maybe both, anyways right now I am currently in a makeshift medical tent I have made to study what I can. I should go back to the city but I want to see all the symptoms first to decide whether or not to bring someone back to the city for testing or to Confine everyone here and bring other doctors and scientists here to study this Disease.

Right now my patient/subject is currently in the last stage of the disease, The Coma stage, I am currently taking tests to see why they enter a coma without any warning besides being extremely tired.

Assistant Alia - "Doctor look at this, the brain readings are weird"

Doctor Forn - "Let me look...! How is that even possible!!?"

Assistant Alia - "Doctor? What is it?"

(A/N - Here are there names sorry about that :P)

What I am looking at shouldn't be possible, the disease starts either in the lungs or where they were last touched by the infected, even if it spreads to the brain it shouldn't do this! It has not only spread to the brain but is specifically targeting the part that requires rest, overloading it into such a state that it enters a coma because it thinks it is not only requiring rest but is being attacked! When really it is being manipulated to cause certain effects such as exhaustion.

(A/N - I know nothing about medicine or biology soo expect everything to be wrong)

This isn't the only part its targeting however, it is also targeting the part that rules over hunger which then causes what I've seen so far, people knawing their or others bodies and if there is something else to eat they run at it like maniacs which caused me to lock them all up in a room where my assistant passes food to them through the door.

This Disease.....It's beyond what I can do, I should have brought them to the city right away! Dammit why did I have to try and make a cure!

Doctor Forn - "Alia get three patients ready for transport, were going back to the city and straight to the hospital for immediate research of this disease!!"

Assistant Alia - " R-Right away sir!" she yells as she then runs off to make preperations

'Dammit...I just hope we can find a cure for them'

Too bad the doctor doesn't know that the three patients he's bringing will have not only this disease but another as well....
