Percy was met with a bonfire immediately so he knew to prepare himself for a boss fight.

the chimera charged at Percy almost immediately. Its attacks were all like a pattern, sometimes it would swipe multiple times, or sometimes it wouldn't.

an attack that this chimera could do was slam its paws on the ground to "stun" Percy but proved to be ineffective against Percy since it was a water attack.

Percy killed the chimera after 3 attempts, mainly due to the BS that was the lightning ball.

but Percy began learning the proper use of shields. since some are protected better against certain elements.

but since the enemies mainly used physical attacks all Percy had to do was use [tower shield].

the enemies charged at him with pitchforks and shears. but we're killed in a single slash.

my feet lead me to wherever I wanted, but Percy did find an elevator I couldn't use.

Percy also found a giant dragon. it jumped off the bridge and flew away.

Percy made a mental note to kill that thing later. regardless of whatever steps he had to take.

Percy felt his blood roaring for the fight to come. and guess what? he certainly got it.

the legend himself, that was known throughout this place.

I raised my shield and blocked his attack, but then he did three jumping attacks back to back.

Percy barely had half his stamina left, but he counterattacked with a swing of his BKG.

it did decent damage to him, but then he came at me faster.

his move set was very, very difficult to see which comes first.

another thing that Percy had to take in was his unpredictability. Artoria's moves consisted of a slash, throwing mud? or something similar, jumping at me, and buffing himself.

but... something else came to mind for you g Percy. what if .. he didn't need to fight him? This man was corrupted by the abyss.

I mean with every death Percy was able to research the abyss that corrupted such a legend.

with my knowledge of various spells, and my ability to make new ones Im certain I would be able to create such a spell.

it took seconds to activate the spell, but this would definitely be able to cure such a legend. after all, this was my honorable fight.

even if I could summon the people called weird names, I chose not to. after all, this was me and him, an honorable legend vs an upcoming weirdo.

the downside is that it requires physical contact, and getting close to Artorias guaranteed death.

so Percy had to learn how to get good at CQC, by stripping all his armor and using his fist.

was it embarrassing? yeah kinda. I mean to be fair the only person there was Night, Percy, and a corrupted Artorias.

Percy began using Artorias as a punching bag as he learned extremely quickly how to fight with a bare fist.

eventually after hundreds of attempts, Percy was able to pin Artorias down to the ground and use (abyss destroyer).

the abyss began disappearing, but Artorias began thrashing and trying to claw his way out of my arms.

it almost worked due to how tall he was, but Percy's grip was stronger than ever thanks to the water he poured on himself before the battle.

when it finished Artorias lay on the ground unconscious. Percy had to drag him and prop him against the wall.

'thy was a worthy foe' Percy thought as he continued onward.
