22 (facing the abyss)

you know passing through this place was challenging but not impossible. why? because me and Artorias set on our journey together.

neither of us talked, but we understood each other on a level that let us fight together and predict each other's movements.

Artorias knew my moves because of the times we fought, and Percy knew his because it kept killing me.

we (Percy) explored the place and found a mimic that had a [silver pendent], which is very useful.

this proved to be very useful against the mages that shot at us with dark magic. Artorias had to bend a little to be in the shield though.

Percy and Artorias made their way into the dark space. but upon going further Artorias held his hand out and nudged his head to follow him.

I did. he jumped down this ledge, and surprisingly I didn't take any fall damage.

there we saw a cat, and as we explored deeper it led to an illusionary wall, which I hit.

upon going further Artorias and Percy saw the big humanity and a wolf. Percy dealt with one big humanity and Artorias dealt with the other.

upon killing the humanity the wolf howled and began wagging its tail upon seeing Artorias.

"sif" was all Artorias said as he held onto Sif like a man who was happy to see his best friend.

"I got it from here. protect her" I wrote on the ground.

I handed Artorias my skull lantern. I watched the brave warrior leave as I went deeper into the abyss.

before leaving Artorias left me his greatsword, he took a bow before leaving.

"...be safe...friend," he said before leaving.

I picked up his greatsword and nodded my head. it did more damage than my BKG. it also shrunk down for my size.

Percy took a sip of the flask that Night had given him. Of course, he still didn't know what it was, but it did taste better than his estus so he wasn't complaining.

[magnus father of the abyss]

the very person who dragged him into the past in the first place. now this was a boss fight.

Percy would get thrown around, slammed, and get blasted with magic.

but throughout all that, a big smile was seen under his helmet.

Percy could have killed him when he memorized all of his moves. but no, he let Magnus live. he let him live knowing that Percy was using him for his enjoyment.

after all, this was the hardest boss that Percy had ever encountered, he was going to make damn sure to enjoy it before killing him.

since it came down to it, Percy began training his archery. since Percy used many souls to buy 999 arrows of every type, it was only natural to use them to their fullest.

Percy's arrows did fly extremely weirdly, so much so that Night found it suspicious. but Percy spent days... years? training his bow skills and managed to finally get the skills he hoped for.

I used repair powder on my bow before dodging Magnus's slam attack. Percy began shooting his eyes and made sure to pierce them.

arrow after arrow Percy began shooting, so much so that when Magnus was killed Percy didn't show any emotions besides pity.

he had lost his favorite toy that day.

Percy walked over and picked up Dusk, and carried her out of the abyss. Percy had to use (abyss eater) multiple times since the Abyss tried invading her body.

her eyes opened and she saw me, but I slid past a dark mage and continued out of the place.

I made my way past where I fought Artorias, where I see him talking to a woman.

I took Dusk back to the talking mushroom Elizabeth and laid her gently on the wall.

'rest well' I thought before I left.

after all, now I had a dragon to fight.

finding him was easy, but fighting him was the problem. since he could fly, Percy's movements were to be calculated.

but eventually, Percy went to the giant, who shot Kalameet through his wing and crippled him.

now... it was my job to finish it.
