Tragic Or Not?

People in the year 204x live in a world called Earth, and they have succeeded in inventing new high-tech technologies that may exceed your expectations. In this world, people discovered how to cure various types of cancers, which was the main reason why the death rate increased in recent years.

Yes! They were all living in a dream as none of them could experience extreme poverty, war, virus, and so on. To be more specific, they were only needed to protect the world they were currently inhabiting.

The local government was strictly enforcing the rule that no one should ever cause pollution that would have a negative impact on the rest of the world. Once they identified a specific person who was causing pollution, whether severe or minor. Even so, the person apprehended would be imprisoned for two or three years with a minimum bail of $100,000.

That was quite a decision to make in order to teach the people around you proper manners and discipline. They could also easily reduce the percentage of crime by doing so.

On the other hand, a boy who was peacefully driving his black BMW while listening to love music. "What a peaceful day! Also, I'm really glad that I make Nakao happy." He said to himself along with a broad smile on his face.

Furthermore, he was keeping his eyes on the main road, attempting to maintain a speed at which he felt safe. Kai was the type of guy who always kept himself out of harm's way and never caused an accident to anyone else.

Despite the fact that he could solve all of his problems with the help of his family's influence and wealth. Still, he can't afford to do that, knowing that everyone has important things going on in their lives. Aside from that, he doesn't want to cause any trouble that could endanger them or change their lives.

"I don't need to hurry, I have plenty of time to get to the University," he muttered as he took a gentle grip on the steering wheel.

Creek! Creek! Creek!

And then there was a yellow car that looked a lot more like a Porsche. His eyes widened when he saw this occurrence since he knew this car was going to crash into his car.

From a distance, he noticed a woman making gestures and wearing a worried expression. Based on her movements, he can tell she lost her break.

Various thoughts were rumbling through his mind right now. Nonetheless, Kai wanted to protect himself from the accident, so he immediately shifted the steering wheel to the right side.

Despite the fact that he managed to avoid the yellow car that was speeding towards him. Nonetheless, he had no idea there would be a truck in the intersection where he turned.

"What the hell?! Where did this delivery truck come from? I'm sure there wasn't anyone here when I turned," he exclaimed as he aggressively turned the steering wheel.

No one could tell whether he was delusory or correct. But what could he do? Kai needed to do something to save his life or he'd end up in the afterlife.

Yes! As of now, there were only two options, but one of them was certain. To be more specific, if he continued to increase the gas, he would undoubtedly collide with the other vehicle. The delivery truck would be the one to hit him if he stepped the break.

He looked in front of him along with the idea he was going to step up the gasoline since he was not driving that fast. However, that idea easily faded away when he saw there was a child inside the car who was looked afraid in this incident.

Kai smiled at him before removing his hands from the steering wheel, as he had already accepted his face. In his mind, he had thoroughly enjoyed the wonderful life that had been bestowed upon him over the previous twenty-one years. He can eat whatever he wants, buy expensive gadgets, and so on. But one thing he regretted was that he had never attempted to have intercourse with the opposite sex as he wanted to give for the special woman who would come into his life. If he just knows it, it appears that he will accept the swarms of women who desperately want to be with him.

But before that, he was dazzled by a bright light for no apparent reason. He simply laughed and said these words. "I'm still alive, but God had already planned to bring me with him."

BOOM!

And then there was a loud explosion in the main road that shook the entire complex. Because of the short distance and the heavy items it was carrying, it appeared that the delivery truck could not avoid his car.

The truck hit the black BMW, and despite the fact that the airbag popped and he was wearing a seatbelt that could have saved his life. Even so, it wasn't enough to keep him alive.

Kai Xin had vanished from the wonderful world. His death was tragic since if there had only been road blockers there, he might have been able to avoid the accident. That was possible because the world was teeming with new technologies that could benefit humans. Or, to put it another way, Feb 27, 204x was not his day as the road blockers were being serviced at the time.

That was the only time his parents came together to see him after his death. Everyone could see how much the Xin family suffered as a result of his death since they had not expected this to happen to their only child.

"Kai! Why?! Why do you leave us this early?! We're planning a big birthday party for you next month, right? Please come back to us!!"

Kai's mother sobbed in agony, unable to believe that the next time she saw her son was inside the urn. While Kai's father had already been seriously hurt in this incident, he had to support his wife in order for her to stay strong and not pass out.

Nakao stared at the urn, blaming himself for what had happened to his master. In his mind, if he was the one driving, this would never happen to him. "If I just didn't accept your offer... Everything would be fine; I'm going to regret this for the rest of my life-" He paused for a second as a cold breeze touched his skin.

"I'M SORRY, MASTER KAI! I'M REALLY SORRY!"

More tears welled up in their eyes. But what could they do? They didn't have the ability to go back in time and fix everything that had gone wrong.

Furthermore, the name Kai Xin was discussed on all social media platforms. There are two reasons for this. First, Kai comes from a wealthy family, and his father was a well-known businessman. Second, they failed to find Kai's dead body at the accident scene, only his personal information.

The most pressing question for the investigators here was how the Identification Cards survived the fire, but Kai's body, or even his bones, cannot be found to prove that he was inside before the accident occurred.

On the other hand, there was a man who was lying on the freezing surface. Yet, it was too dark to see everything around him.

First and foremost. The man was startled awake by a loud ring that appeared out of nowhere. So he gradually opened his eyes to find the source of that sound. However, he immediately closed his eyes after experiencing severe pain inside his head.

"Ahh!!!" He screamed in agony as he seemed to sense that someone had barely struck his head with the metal bat.

The pain subsided after a few moments. So he opened his eyes again and took a close look around. The first thing he noticed were the several torches mounted on the wall, but they weren't enough to lighten up the place because some areas remained dark.

"Where am I? Wait—?" he puzzledly asked himself. "However, first and foremost, who am I?"

He stared at torches for a few minutes, trying to get some information into his head, but nothing came up.

A smell of earth entered his nose, indicating that he was inside of something such as a tunnel, cave, or other structure. Who are you to say? The location description was insufficient to determine what kind of place this was.

Ding!

The same sound perceived by his ears reminded him of the main reason he awoke. "What's the deal with that sound-?" He paused as he noticed something in front of him.
