As Hans was jogging 5 m deep into the Forest next to the Road. He had found 1 car that was driven into a tree.

Stopping, Hans surveyed the area for possible branches to climbed on.

However in the south of Germany the majority of trees was held by the pine. It especially was build high as braches only grew at the top. Fighting for the light with the rest of the forest.

‚So no branches. I can hear two abnormals. If they are still in the car since two days then by no means is there a tier 2.'

Being confident Hans sneaked closet and closer.

First he could reassure himself that there truly were 2 dead bodies lying on the ground.

‚It's safe to say that those two abnormals are caught in position and can't get out or they would have never left any rests of those two.

With it comes another question. Why is it that those two didn't turn abnormal after they died.

So far I can say that to kill an abnormal you have to damage its head or more closely sever the connection of the crystal in the skull with the rest of the body below the throat.

I can't pinpoint how much mass of the body must be left attached to the head so it is still „alive".

Cause beheading kills it as the head will remain inactive, let's say „dead", even if it is perfectly fine.

While here these humans during the event of the pain must have lost control, rammed the tree and the two in front flew out through the window splashing their heads open like watermelons. It seems the head is important.

However this is all so strange and contradicting.

Because they clearly are undead. They don't die even if their whole lower body is dismembered and left open wounded.

But... But it would make sense if their state of „undead" would be connected with the crystal.

Just why is the head then „dead" when it got chopped of cleanly without direct damage to the head???

My head hurts. I can understand physical laws and I can create solution for electrical and IT problems. This is highly complicated work but THESE!

Physics is something based on logic and order. Here there is no order or logic. It's pure madness!!!

And as such I shall answer it with madness!'

With steady and unshakable steps Hans went in a straight line to the cars rear windows. There he could see the two abnormals caught in their seatbelts.

With pull and a stab from his sword the first abnormal died.

Going onto the other side and killing the abnormal too.

He was too caught up ins his thoughts and the two level 1 crystals meant to few for him of going through the hassle to get them.

To understand, both heads slummed down onto the ground of the car and to reach them he either had to break the doors out which with only times 2 stats wasn't possible or try to reach through the broken sharp edged window.

More on his mind was that both corpses were untouched. Not because of the abnormals but the mutated beasts.

‚There are no mutated beasts in this area for sure. Were did they move?

I can't believe that they just ignored it. Like something living must be within smelling range. But there obviously isn't.

Something must have called on to them. Something that could either raise their greed to such high levels they ignore free food or with such high authority that it could call an all races of mutated beasts.

Im sure they still have racial rivalry under the beasts. In the City I only saw beast squads of one race. Never mixed.

So in all cases I should try to not go there. Either it's highly contested or under supervision and order. Both death sentences especially with my halved agility.

How do I find out where they went without getting myself into the danger zone?'

Unsure what to do Hans could only think about possibilities and not certainties. Something he was used to from university.

‚I have the alps south 50 km plus, Rosenheim a 170k people live in and around it, distance around 45km east till the city centre or Munich a city of millions distance around 20km till city centre.

Most likely at the alps. I hope cause I have to go to Rosenheim so pls...'

Hans marked down the rough area he suspected to be the cause so later when he went into the alps he would have to go in further east then he wanted first.

‚Just have go a bit more West after im further south.'

With his map stored again Hans heading back to his 5 Meter distance to the road from there on jogging further along the road.
