{Hey, it has been a while.

I wasn't one to write stuff like this, but now, that the scariest bit is here, I thought maybe I should.

Just in case, in case my successor would need. Just like I needed my predecessor's.

It was a normal day. Was it raining?

Maybe, I don't remember that well. I did remember some things though.

I had just left a cafe, a meetup with friends from my school days. All of us were now making our way through the waves of working adult lives, stopping at the shore of memories was always a good respite.

Yeah.

I remember it. The same old hilly roads of Tartarus City, the looming military base looking down on the rest of the town, the cold, fresh morning mountain breeze.

I could smell the weather in the air, was it a perk of the cold winds? It carried a leafy scent that seemed ready to hug the world.
