FIRST CASE

(March 19, 2019)

(21 years later,At isabo high court Abeokuta,Kareem Johnson is defending his first case,a case between Governor's son and Bisayo Adekunle,Adeyemi Governor's son was accuse of killing Adekunle's brother)

Barr Johnson: My lord, I don't want us to purnish the innocent, because it is certain that Mr Samuel is not the one that kill my client's brother.But one thing I am sure of is that the noble Governor of this state bribe Mr Samuel to lie against himself

Barr pelumi:(attorney-in-law of the defendant) objection my lord

Judge:Objection overule,Barr Johnson continue

Barr Johnson: According to my research and investigation, Mr Samuel is the Governor's clerk,and recently his mother need #10million for surgery,this is the reason the Governor told him to do this,I rest for now

Barr pelumi:All these Barr Johnson said is just assumption, there is no concrete evidence to prove that Governor actually had a deal with Mr Samuel. And more so,Mr Samuel here said he is the culprit, then why are we prolonging the matter,Mr Samuel that Barr Johnson is fighting for said he is the murderer,then should we pronounce the judgment on a false statement

Barr Johnson: My lordrs Animashaun,Samuel mom is in mercy hospital, so we can make enquiry on that,more so Mr Samuel how did you kill Bisayo Adefemi

Sam:I am a clerk at Governor's office, but recently I needed #10million for my mom surgery.One fateful day,Governor's accountant took #15million to Governor's house which I was aware of,I thought this is an opportunity for me.So I decide to steal the money.That night on March 2,2019,I went to his house at exactly 2:15am,because I knew exactly where the money is kept,I am also aware how the tight the security is,so I bought apple for all the security after work that day,I told them to eat it at exactly 2:00pm because I prepare a power in it,they trusted me because we are actually friend,so i went to the house exactly 2:15am,they were all asleep,I entered the house successfully and took the money,but we all know that Adefemi is a Gardner in Governor's house, when I was going out,in the compound,femi saw me with the money, I pleaded that I will give him #2million out of the money.But he refuses and threaten me to tell the Governor, that is why I killed him

Barr Johnson: wow,indeed Governor has did so much work on you,but sir,I plead to you my lord,that this case should be adjourn, so I can bring to this noble court evidence that Adekunle was murdered by Adeyemi not Mr Samuel. I will sit down for now

Barr pelumi: Sir,there is nothing we are adjourning, according to what beings about this matter a man called jokotade said he saw Governor's son murdering the decease of which he has no evidence. After so much investigation from my side,Mr Samuel came to me that he is the one that do the murder not Adeyemi,so what is there to adjourn again sir.Sir,please pronounce the judgment as it right,don't let us give blame to whom he has no blame to who has no blame

nBarr Johnson: Sir,let me write a script for you,let look it from this side,Adekunle came to me that his brother was murdered in the compound,of which Mr jokotade a neighbor of the Governor came to be a witness that he saw Adeyemi and Adefemi arguing and he shot he shot him dead after that,ta e same compound Mr Samuel said the killed the decease.But from Mr Samuel story sir,let just remove Mr Samuel name and put yemi's name,my story goes thus:My Adekunle was aware that his father brought in #15million,salary of the workers,Governor and Adeyemi agree that he should come and steal the money, later he will tell the public that armed robber stole it.The reason why he can't just give him the money to hide and tell the public the same story is that his wife is also aware of the money,so his wife can leak the secret,so he brought out the plan in order to fool his wife alongside with the public. According to the report, Governor's wife affirm the fact that someone with mask came to steal the money. So after stolen the money successfully, he came out to the compound and remove his mask,but unfortunately for him,he saw Adefemi,and he is not ready to be part of the game,he killed him.My lord,I know I have no evidence to backup my story that is why am seeking for an adjournment sir please. My lord I will be grateful

Judge:Because of this marvelous and outstanding performance from the two lawyers,I adjourn this case to may19,2019.I rise
