I slumped down on a chair, suddenly feeling exhausted. It was only then that I saw the bodies on the ground of the nurse and the security guy. 

"This was the only way we could protect your secret," Aurora said, noticing my confused expression. "Jasmine erased their memories as well. Water?" 

I took the bottled water from Aurora's hand and took off the cap, taking a sip of water. 

Aurora stood impatiently beside me like she wanted to say something but is holding herself back, "Go ahead, Aurora." 

"Miss, you were utterly reckless. What did you think you were doing bursting into the door like that?" She started instantly. "I know you may be eager to see your mother again but you remembered that she believes you are dead. You can't just barge into the room like that, especially not a trauma patient."

"And what about me?" The words came out of my mouth but I wasn't the one that said it.
