The End Of The Battle, My Promotion

dammit i was kinda hoping they wouldn't have surrendered, damn I've gotten blood thirsty all of this coming from my hopes to protect people, am i a monster, whatever it doesn't matter I'll become as much of a villain as is necessary to have fun in this life.

"I sha-- wait I'm not the one in charge" Kon said the sudden moment of remembrance making his cheeks a flush red

"WHITEBLOOODDD!!" my commanding officer Colonel Purplewire shouted

"Y-yes sir?"

"I wanna be mad at you for not waiting for orders, but thanks to you their were no causalities and we have some prisoners, so good job kid"

"Thanks sir"

"Now for your punishment, cleaning duty, and report to me after we have to have a talk about your position in this Regiment"

"Yes sir" i sighed "What will you be doing with the prisoners if i may ask"

"Well, questioning them and if we have to-" he started to speak in a lower tone "torture"

i looked into his eyes before i started the cleaning duty, honestly with my speed and creative uses of my skills it only took me about half a minute but i decided to go and take a break before reporting to the Colonel.

"We've been here for a day tell me have you noticed anything suspicious yet?"

"good, keep tracks, if anything like what happened at school happened again then i don't know what I'd do"

Roughly an hour passed before i reported to the Colonel

"haha" he chuckled "I'm gonna get straight to the point, we recently lost a lieutenant colonel and well your strong enough for the role, you'd have your own battalion"

"i have 2 stipulations, i want Sam and Alex to be under my control and to be promoted to at least Majors, and i wanna be able to leave my post as i see fit"

"well that's that, grab your stuff, you start now and your first assignment is a labyrinth"

i grabbed my stuff and went to meet my battalion

"anyhow tell us about this labyrinth"

"ah yes of course sorry, the labyrinth is unique as it has many different types of monsters, from spiders to goblins and supposedly someone even spotted a couple demons"

"according to the amount of mana it outputs its around AAA or S rank, so far stronger than we can handle"

a labyrinth is what you would think as a dungeon there are some that are like a classic labyrinth but in this world its a different name and as we've seen dungeons aren't like the way you'd think, a dungeon in a game normally has a type of monster you fight through in waves until you get to a boss, in this world labyrinths are the same, however unusual's are different they don't have a boss which means its essentially and infinite XP grinder, of course there isn't a way to know if its unusual for sure until you get there.

"Well, major's rally the troops and prepare your stuff"

"I-i see, then get ready we're going as soon as possible"
