That's what best friends are for!

The crew cheered and followed Alex and Shanks back to where they were staying. Shanks kicked the door open.

"Darling~ I'm home!"

Dragon, Buggy and April were all inside and sitting on the couch. On the other side of them Olivia and Clover were sitting with a concerned look on their faces.

Alex's eyes widened. He totally forgot to check in and missed his meeting with the two.

Dragon smiled. "There you are. Your friends were concerned about you, Alex. Apparently something about the island shaking, the sea splitting, and pirates decimating the marine base on the island caused them to think you might be in trouble after you didn't show up today."

Roger laughed. "That just sounds like a normal day!"

Shanks laughed. "You're the only man in the world who can split a sea like that!"

Roger laughed. "Oh! Right!"

Rayleigh sighed and shook his head. "Sorry for barging in. We are Shanks's friends and crewmates. Nice to meet you."

Dragon smirked. "So you're my old man's rival. Nice to meet you, I'm Garp's son. Dragon."

Roger laughed. "Then, you must be strong! Let's see who's stronger! Shanks! Fight him! Show him our crew never loses!"

Alex laughed at Shanks who was shaking his head with vigor. "That's not a good idea captain!" Shanks replied.

Roger laughed and slapped Shanks in the back. "You're on my crew! There's no way you'd lose!"

Dragon laughed. "Great idea! Let's fight Shanks!"

Alex smiled. "Great idea! Let's see it!"

Shanks looked at Alex, a feeling of betrayal welled up inside him. "H-how could you? Help me out man! You're my best friend! You can't just leave me to die!"

Alex laughed. "Yes I can! That's what best friends are for! If your best friend doesn't laugh when you suffer then who else will?"

"No one is supposed to laugh when I suffer!" Shanks cried out as everyone in the room started laughing at him.

Shanks was dragged outside by Roger and forced into a duel with Dragon. Alex laughed while finishing his barrel of booze.

He spun the barrel on his finger. "Then, when the barrel hits the ground you start!"

Alex tossed it into the air. The moment the barrel hit the ground the air around the two fighters became opaque as fog surrounded them. The air turned moist and mist began to spread around.

Alex laughed and grabbed Olivia and Clover before running away. Buggy and April where right behind him.

Suddenly a loud crack resounded and a blinding flash lit up the dark sky. Lightning started raining down within the mini storm and shone a bright blue light that almost looked white.

The lightning began to spread out and started leaping to the nearest objects, which were Roger and his crew… and Buggy. Who was the last in the line of people running away and got hit by a stray bolt of lightning.

Roger laughed as the mist and fog started to dissipate and Shanks was on the ground with soot covering him.

Dragon smiled as he looked down at his hand and saw a cut on it that Shanks had made. "You're getting better." Dragon told Shanks.

Shanks groaned from the ground. "Fuck you."

Dragon laughed and a mini storm formed around his fist. "Shall we continue?"

Suddenly Rayleight dashed in front of Shanks with his sword half drawn.

Alex laughed. "Relax. Dragon was just kidding."

Shanks rolled over and a smile formed on his face. "Fuck, now I'm thirsty!"

Alex laughed and tossed a bottle of wine to him. Shanks caught it and started to drink before tossing it to Dragon.

"You're a wine guy, just like Rayleigh." Shanks said. Rayleigh smiled and put his sword away.

Dragon laughed and drank some of the wine before handing it to Rayleigh. Who happily took some and started chatting with Dragon.

Roger laughed and ran at Alex. "Give me more magic rum!"

Alex started to run away. "No! My booze!"

Roger laughed and continued to chase him while Crocus checked on Shanks's condition. He shrugged after doing a physical. "You should be fine… probably."

Shanks laughed. "Just what I wanted to hear!"

Gaban smiled and picked up Shanks. The group head back for the house other than Alex and Roger who were stilly playing cat and mouse over 'magic booze'.

Alex started using Lugh to swing from house to house like he was a spider… man. A spider-man. Roger laughed as he ran around the island without falling behind. Alex suddenly used geppo to jump in another direction before Roger copied him and did the same thing.

"WHAT?! YOU KNOW GEPPO?!" Alex cried out.

"HAhahaha! You just showed me how to do it!" Roger replied.

Alex nearly started crying. He reached the house and ran inside. "Gaban! Stop your crazy captain! He wants to steal all my booze!"

Gaban laughed. "I think it would be more criminal to let the minor keep the booze. I think we should confiscate them all!"

Rayleigh laughed. "Great idea! That was some top tier wine!"

Alex looked around as he was surrounded by the strongest men in the world who were all after his treasure. "NOOO!" He screamed.

After everyone was done, Alex didn't have a single drop of booze left in his bag. He looked around at everyone who was happily laughing and chugging all his drinks.

"Bastards! YOU BASTARDS ARE DEAD!" Alex screamed as his haki burst out with pressure stronger than he had ever emitted before.

The crew laughed and ignored the haki as they continued drinking. Shanks was watching Alex and slapping his knee so hard he bruised it.

"How could you just sit there and laugh? They took it all! They took everything from me!" Alex cried out.

"That's what best friends are for! To laugh at you when no one else will!" Shanks replied while ripping off Alex's line.

Alex jumped at Shanks and tackled him to the ground, starting a dust brawl.

The crew laughed and started making bets on who would win. Eventually the dust brawl rolled around the room to where Buggy was. A hand shot out and grabbed Buggy's shirt, pulling him in. A minute later both Shanks and Alex dusted off their hands and looked down at Buggy, who was on the floor with injuries all over him and twitching in pain.

"Huh? When did Buggy join?" Alex asked.

Shanks shrugged. "No clue."

The two boys looked at one another and laughed as they walked together to go grab a drink and join the party.

The rest of the crew started grumbling while Rayleigh laughed. "Pay up, losers. I had my bets on Buggy losing!"

"He wasn't even in the fight!" Roger said with a smile.

Crocus clicked his tongue. "I didn't know that was an option."

Gaban sighed. "Too bad."
