Chapter 35: Intense fighting

Arthur sent a wave of cutting air towards one of the Beasts Pirates and split him in half, after practicing for several months he finally became able to carry out this attack through a stroke of luck.

But he showed no sign of being happy with his achievement and is now besieged by pirates.

Blood and ashes filled Arthur's body, flames surrounded him from behind while 15 fierce pirates stood in front of him, Arthur pulled out a small dagger and quickly sent him flying towards one of the Pirates.

The pirate moved his sword and fended off the dagger while there was a look of amazement in his face.

The Pirates all stood looking at their divided colleague with looks of surprise and at the same time anger, they were fleeing from the fire but they met this stranger who attacked them without warning.

Arthur clenched his fist around his sword while moving his eyes madly and looking around, he was looking for any outlet from which he could escape, having found himself trapped he said in a cold voice.

"Get out of my way" Arthur's ash-covered face filled with expressions of anger resembled a ferocious beast.

"Who do you think you are, this, we are Beast Pirates, we do not submit to anyone but our leader," one of the Pirates replied as he pointed his sword at Arthur. he was angry because of the death of his colleague, for them this is an insult and contempt.

"I think things won't be solved as easily as I see" as soon as Arthur finished speaking, he started sending Flying Daggers everywhere, and as soon as his flying daggers were over, he started waving his sword attacking the people standing in front of him.

Arthur's attacks were fast and sudden, which made some pirates delay in dealing with them, but because of their great combat experience, they avoided death, but they got some bad injuries.

Arthur looked at the people in front of him and found that his attacks barely succeeded in injuring 4 people, this bad development of events made him realize that he was dealing with very dangerous and very experienced people.

Arthur's strong point was sudden attacks in the dead of night, but now he has lost his privileges and he has to fight in the most hated way, which is direct combat, especially since he has a leg injury and cannot move very freely.

"Fuck this!" Arthur stood up and looked at the Pirates in front of him to find them smiling sarcastically, and then he began to check his surroundings crazily, he realizes that he has no chance of winning, but he did not find any way to escape.

He turned his head and looked towards the raging flames behind him.

"Pain again" Arthur muttered a few words vaguely, and then with a quick movement of his foot, he jumped into the flames.

"Did he commit suicide?" The Pirates stood up in amazement, opened their mouths and looked at the place where Arthur was a few seconds ago.

"Uhhhh!" Arthur ran madly in the middle of the flames, his vision was very blurry and he couldn't see anything but he made his way and kept running forward, all he could hear was the sounds of the flames swallowing everything in its path, Arthur ran madly not caring what was happening to him.

His clothes began to burn, his head hair, eyebrows and all the hair that covered his body burned, Arthur ran madly indifferent to the pain, only a few seconds had passed since he entered the fire, but he felt like he had spent tens of hours.

And finally, after a lot of trouble, Arthur got out of the middle of the flames and reached the edge of the island, without thinking about it for even a second, Arthur jumped into the water and began to swim away from the island.

Adrenaline was spreading through his body like crazy and helping him to relieve pain and maintain his foggy consciousness, but even this was not enough Arthur began to gradually lose his clarity, his hands began to slow down, until eventually he stopped rowing.

The waters carried away his body, which became a huge lump of meat that had lost all its human features, just a human skeleton composed of Burnt Meat.

While Arthur was quietly drowning in the middle of the water, the eagle quickly flew up from the air, grabbed him by his shoulders by its sharp claws, the Eagle's claws sank into Arthur's shoulders the Eagle did not mean this but it was a necessary thing, with the flapping of its wings with very great force the eagle lifted Arthur out of the sea and flew away from the island covered with flames.

While Arthur was flying in the air, he fainted, the white light surrounded his body again and began to repair his body, the light of which still hides many secrets that even Arthur himself does not know.

"What happened here?" *Queen stood* the plague at the bow of his ship, looking at the island in front of him, which was filled with smoke and ashes, there were no longer any signs of life.

"Sir, there are some survivors" a man came quickly while pointing to the water behind their ship,

"Bring them to the deck" The Pirates began to help the survivors to board the ship, the number of survivors was about a hundred men, their faces were filled with ashes and signs of despair.

"Where are the manuscripts!" Queen didn't care what happened to them, as soon as he saw them he asked about the important thing that everything is about.

"We couldn't get them back" the Pirates spoke awkwardly as they bowed their heads, they realized the guilt they have committed and will suffer a lot because of this.

"You haven't got the manuscripts back!" Quinn shouted angrily.

"Go back to that island and don't come back here until you find the manuscripts" Queen picked up the Pirates and began to throw them one by one, he is aware that The Spy Who Owns the manuscripts is still somewhere nearby.

While Queen was lost in thought, he heard an annoying shout coming from above the ship's mast, saying:

"The Marines are coming, they are surrounding us from every direction," the pirate assigned to the surveillance shouted in a terrified voice.

As soon as everyone heard the word Marines they began to frantically inspect their surroundings, to find several ships scattered around the island and surrounding them.

"Sir, what are we going to do now?"

"We're going to run away" Queen's gaze was filled with a little fear; he sensed the presence of a very dangerous person approaching them.

"Sir, there are two Beasts Pirates ships in front of us, what are we going to do?" a man with a pointed mustache and lightly styled blond hair stood next to Tristan, this man was Vice Admiral Pelo and he was then assigned the task of escorting the Holy Knight.

"Drown them" Tristan said arbitrarily, unconcerned about what would happen to the others, his main purpose in coming here is to capture Arthur and bring him back to the research facility.

"Pelias, go with Vice Admiral Pelo and intercept the Pirates, Julia, take two of the ships of the marines and inspect the area around the island" Tristan raised his hand and began to give orders sternly, his gaze was like that of a great commander spreading his prestige to his soldiers.

As soon as Tristan finished his words, one of the Navy ships began firing at the pirate ship.

The shells flew everywhere and the conflict raged between the pirate ship and the Marines ship, but it is clear that the pirate ship prevailed due to its giant size and its very large guns, Queen's ship was a giant fortress dedicated to wars so they did not face any problems, but despite that, a worried look still crossed Queen's face.

They have tangled with one ship but there are still 5 others and he is unaware of the type of enemy he is facing.

"Turn the rudder to starboard and focus your attacks on the Marines ship that is in our way, fire some smoke shells for camouflage, we need to get out of here as soon as possible, call all the ships of our allies that are in the vicinity of this area, and ask them to come to our aid"

Quinn gave the orders in a stern voice, he wanted to escape at all costs, if he was caught here, he would face the same fate, either execution or he would be imprisoned in Impel Down, and this himself was a death sentence.

"Where do you think you're going," a giant wave shot out of the Haki-saturated choppy air towards Queen's ship, the choppy wave was so gigantic.
