Zoro Vs Mihawk

Sanji's mouth however drops open as he state's, that Galleon. It was just cut in half..."

Sparrow then chuckles as he pulls himself to his feet, "It's him. Zoro, now's your chance."

Zoro then nods as he stares out at a light green light that is glowing in the dust from the destruction of the galleon growing closer. He then jumps off the stares and races outside.

Once he is on the deck of the ship he then shouts "So, you're finally here, MIHAWK!!!!"

--Moments Later--

Suddenly, Johnny and Yosaku rush over to us, "It's Nami! She stole the Going Merry and left!"

Luffy then turns an gasps, "What?!?! Where is she going?"

Yosaku then states, "Seeing on how she stole one of our wanted posters, I think she's going to Arlong Park to try and capture him!"

Sparrow raises his eyebrow, "Oi, isn't that located in the Conomi Islands? That's where my first mate is!"

Luffy then nods, "Johnny, Yosuke, Usopp go after her make sure she doesn't get out of site. Zoro, Sanji, and I will catch up later."

"Oi I haven't joined your shitty crew yet." Sanji barks annoyed.

Zoro then looks at Luffy gratefully. I then turn to the three who are about to leave, "Oi, while your there I'm sure you'll find a man who will be making a scene. Tell him your friends of Red Hair and that I need a ride from Baratie. He'll help you guys out and provide us with a ride."

Usopp nods, "S-sure!" He then turns with the other two and they sail off. At the same time, the water around the ship begins to stir.

Two massive fins come up from the water and create a large circular platform around the ship. "We can't have them ruining the restaurant can we?" Patty smirks.

The other cooks all nod before stepping out onto the platform guarding the entrance and preparing for battle.

"There he is. The world's strongest swordsman. The man I've been looking for." Zoro whispers as a small raft emerges from the dust and mist. Sitting on the mall raft is a is a tall lean man with black hair, a short beard, mustache and sideburns that point upwards.

He wears black and red ornate clothing with a crucifix pendant. His attire consists of a wide-brimmed black hat decorated with a large plume, and a long, open black coat with no shirt underneath, with red, flower-patterned sleeves and collar.

He wears white pants held up by a decorated belt and tucked inside overly large boots in comparison to his leg size. His most identifiable feature is his glowing yellow hawk like eyes.

On his back is a massive sword that is a cruciform and well-ornate weapon with a curved, single-edged, black blade resembling an oversized kriegsmesser. It has a total length of well over two meters and is significantly taller than the man himself.

"Who is it that dares challenge me?" The man asks while staring directly at the Baratie.

However before anyone could respond, a pirate on the destroyed ship next to him shouts, "What grudge do you have to come after us?! Die!!"

The pirate then raises two pistol flintlocks and fires.

*Bang* *Bang*

In one swift motion, suddenly Mihawk's sword is in his hand and pointing at the pirate the bullets hearing to either side of his head missing.

The pirate stumbles backwards while muttering, "Impossible. I know I hit him."

Zoro and Sparrow at the same time mutter, "No, he adjusted the trajectory with his blade."

Zoro looks to Sparrow brow raised but Sparrow simply shrugs. Deciding to not waste any time, Zoro then steps forward to the front 20 feet of the platform before stating, "I've never seen a sword moved so gently."

Mihawk then glances at Zoro with a bored expression, "There is no strength in swordplay based solely on force."

Zoro nods before gesturing behind him, "Did you use that sword to cut this ship here as well?"

"That's right."

Zoro can't help but smile, "I see. So you really are the strongest. I came out to sea specifically to challenge you."

Mihawk then asks, "What's your goal."

Zoro then reaches into his pocket and pulls out a dark green bandana and ties it to his head, "To become the strongest!"

Mihawk hearing this can't help but smirk, "Hmph, how foolish."

Zoro then smirks as he draws the Wado Ichimonji and pointing at Mihawk, "You've got spare time right? Let's fight!"

"Th-this guy's Roronoa Zoro of the Three Sword Style!" One pirate shouts.

"NANI!!!!!" (Cringe readers cringe :D )

Krieg then smirks, "Ho, so that's the pirate hunter?"

Suddenly he appears on the deck only a few feet away from Zoro, "Fight? Hmph, how pitiful weak one. If you are a competent enough swordsman then you should already sense the distance between our levels.

Is it your courage or ignorance that has you pointing your sword at me?" He asks Zoro.

Zoro then declare, "It's my ambition!" Before placing Ichimonji in his mouth and drawing two other blades.

He then more quietly states, "It's also because of a promise that I made to a dear friend of mine."

Meanwhile standing on the rails just outside of the ships fins Patty remarks, "The world's strongest swordsman versus the Pirate Hunter Zoro! What kind of fight will it be?"

Sparrow then places his foot on the rail letting his red hair blow in the wind, "It will be a quick one."

Patty then turns to Sparrow and asks, "What do you mean?"

Sparrow then sighs, "You all don't understand. The people like the Yonko's, Admiral's, and Mihawk... They're like gods to people like us. With time, it is possible for Zoro to reach Mihawk's level, but currently, it's impossible."

Luffy simply nods. Just like Sparrow and Zoro he had sensed how utterly overwhelming Mihawk's power was. Zoro would die here. That was a fact. Why would Luffy allow Zoro to fight Mihawk then you might ask?

Because, despite the obvious outcome. Luffy has faith in his first mate. Whatever Zoro does, he won't die. He will push on even through the impossible. Even against a monster like Mihawk, Luffy has absolute faith in his first mate.

Luffy, with all immaturity and light heartedness he usually displays a side, leans against the rail and watches the two intensely. No matter what happens. He won't look away and.... He won't interfere.

Mihawk, then reaches to his neck and pulls off the bottom part of his cross revealing a tiny dagger. Zoro, annoyed asks, "What the hell is that supposed to mean."

Mihawk then casually replies, "I'm no beast wh goes all out while hunting rabbits. Even if your a swordsmen who's earned bit of a name for himself, this sea, the East Blue, is the weakest of the four seas. Unfortunately I do not carry any smaller blades than this one."

Zoro then snarls and bends down low preparing to attack, "That's enough making fun of me! Better not regret it when I kill you!"

Then, he dashes forward with impressive speed. Mihawk however seems unimpressed, "Frog in the well, learn how big the world truly is."

Zoro, then proceeds to cross his arms the two swords in his hand pointing upwards, then shouts, "Oni-Giri!!!" And slashes with all three blades.

*Clang!*

One large clang can be heard as all three of Zoro's blades had been blocked by the tiny knife. Mihawk had stabbed directly where the three blades would intersect to perform the cut effectively canceling the attack.

"Wh-what?!" Zoro gasps in surprise.

Luffy mutters, "Zoro..."

Sparrow simply shakes his head, "Just as I thought."

'I-I can't move them. What did he do? No one's ever seen through this technique. Yet he stopped it with only a toy like that? Our abilities can't possibly be this far apart! No it can't possibly be.' He thinks to himself in shock.

Zoro then screams, "It can't be this far!" While unlearning a vicious barrage of attacks all only to be perfectly blocked by mihawk.

Flipping backwards Zoro gains some distance before rushing in again. Head, legs, torso, all three at once! No matter what he does he can't so much as scratch Mihawk.

'I'll kill him with this attack! All three at his head!' Zoro then rushes in and launches a triple slash at Mihawk aiming for his head. Only to be met with a punch to the chin. Flying backwards Zoro crashes to the ground and groans in pain.

Zoro then pulls himself to his feet and raises his two blades so that they're pointing down behind him on his left side. He then lunges at Mihawk while muttering, "I can't lose. Tiger! Trap!"

This time however, Mihawk lunges to meet him and stabs him in the chest halfway with the dagger. Zoro, then lowers his two swords and simply stands there.

Mihawk then asks, "Why do you not step back, Roronoa Zoro. Do you intend to allow me to pierce your heart?"

Zoro, with blood now staining his shirt and dripping from his mouth states, "I don't know. I don't know why but... I feel if I step back i will lose something very important to me.

Various pledges and promises in the past will be shattered. I know I won't be able to come back to where I am now."

Mihawk nods, "Yes, that's what defeat is about."

"All the more reason I cannot withdraw."

"Even if you'll die?"

Zoro the groans before shouting, "I'd rather death than defeat! I refuse to lose here willingly!"

Mihawk takes a moment to study Zoro before withdrawing his blade not piercing his heart. "State your name."

Zoro then smirks while stepping back and placing his left hand pointing the sword upwards and his right downwards, "Roronoa Zoro!"

Mihawk then smirks as he draws his massive sword from his back and levels it in front of him, "I will remember it. I have not seen anyone like you in a while strong one. Thus, as a swordsman's courtesy, I will sink you using the worlds strongest black sword."

Zoro then raises his left sword 15 degrees forming an windmill like form with his three blades, "I appreciate it."

'So this is it. The last strike. Will I be the worlds strongest? Or will I die?' With that thought, Zoro spins his two blade creating a mirage of six and dashes foreword to meet Mihawk who also matches his charge.

"Three sword style secret technique! Three Thousand Worlds!" The two then clash for a spilt second before they both pass the other.

"It's over." Sparrow states calmly.

They stand facing away from each other in silence. Suddenly, after a moment of silence, Zoro's two sword fall apart and blood spurts out of his chest as he collapses to the ground.
