Location

The underground market was big and had a variety of vendors. There were stores offering broad range of stuff. It was brightened, and everyone wore masks to conceal their identity from others.

Gray and the broker began strolling down the street. They were looking for Adam Wood. They had to find those before Franky did. There were 500 million bellies on the line.

It wasn't packed or deserted; a considerable number of individuals were walking down, buying products that would be impossible to locate in the outside market.

"Where is this supplier anyway?"

"He should be around somewhere in these areas. I haven't been here for Adam Wood for a long while. "

Gray observed everyone's appearance as he walked closer the dealer, but no one matched Frank's appearance.

Gray and the broker came to a halt in front of a run-down establishment. It was a wooden cabin with the word "Raven" scrawled on it. Gray regarded the cottage with doubt.

"Do you honestly believe a dealer in Adam's wood should be in a run-down establishment like this?"

Gray's words made the broker smirk. Adam's wood was pricey, and the trader trading in such a place would make others skeptical.

"It's hard to believe, but this is where Adam Wood's transactions takes place."

Gray didn't care about appearances any longer and entered the structure. When he entered the cabin, he noticed that it was more fancier than other shops. It was strong and appeared to be luxurious.

"Is all this made of Adam wood?"

The broker made a node. To pique the interest of customers, the Adam wood salesman needed to display the wood. So, how could he have his structure crafted of a different wood?

"Customers, welcome! What brought you to our dealership?" A big guy with a big smile approached them.

'He must be wardboy. No, I shouldn't make assumptions about people based on their appearance.'

Gray turned to face the broker. The broker nodded, confirming that he was the dealer for Adams Wood.

"I have stuff to talk about and a big deal to close here."

Fat Dude sensed that he was about to complete another large deal with him. He, like most merchants, possessed a merchant's sense to detect the smell of money in any place.

'Today is clearly my fortunate day.'

The fat guy led them to the coushin and sat on the opposite side of the table. He placed an order for a cup of tea for all three of them.

"Could you please have a seat?" We can talk about it over a cup of tea."

Gray didn't want to waste his time on such pointless activities. He was expecting Franky to show up here. So, he held his calm and sat down to begin sipping his tea.

"I'll get to the point quickly. Has anyone come to buy Adam wood today?"

Gray was very seriously this time. He didn't want him to tell a lie. His tone had already warned Fatty not to lie.

Fatty flinched as h e wasn't sure why he asked, but Gray seemed serious. He was not allowed to share any information about his client and had no intention of disclosing it at any cost.

"We're sorry, but we can't reveal any information on our clients or any transactions that occurred here."

Gray didn't care about the rules of this place; he was a pirate, and what kind of pirate would care about such rules?

Gray gave the dealer a creepy smile. He was running out of patience. He wanted to get law on his crew who could come to the island in a few days, but he required the money before to do so.

"The last time I checked, I was a pirate."

Gray was ready to wreak havoc on the location, but he wanted to know if Franky had been here previously to complete the transaction.

'Should I just beat them up and then make them spit out information?'

Gray was staring at him with eyes that seemed to be contemplating his fate. Fatty flinched as he stared into those eyes, ready to rip him apart.

"I'll ask you one more time; Did anyone buy Adam wood today?"

Fatty swallowed his saliva. He was sure that things had deteriorated from bad to worse. He pressed the button, which he kept handy in case something went wrong or someone broke in.

He began to bide for time till the guards arrived and captured him. He was not fighting type as well as didn't wish to fight some pirates.

"Why don't we discuss about it just like gentlemen? There is no reason to resort to violence in this situation."

Gray regained his composure. He stood from his position, took a metal pipe off the floor, and sat back down on the couch. He placed his metal pipe between him and Fatty on the table.

Gray grinned at Fatty in a way that signalled he had reached his breaking point. Gray's palms touched the metal pipe that gave him warning that his next words might be his last.

"Why don't you start talking?"

Fifteen sword-wielding guards marched into the room, followed by a man with a massive body. They encircled the room, pointing their swords at Gray and the broker.

"Were they the ones instigating trouble?" The enormous person sought of Fatty. Anyone could tell he was a musclehead by his appearance.

"Capture them, yes! They wanted to leak client's information."

Gray chuckled at Fatty's final attempt to get rid of Gray. He had expected guards, but they were powerless and none of them could even injure Gray.

The broker was dripping with sweat and becoming anxious. He didn't want to be sold as a slave, but he couldn't fight the guards off.

"Gora, the senior guard, has arrived. We're finished."

Gray didn't recognize Gora from the series, but he wasn't sure he wasn't there because he had forgotten most of the portions he remembered from the show.

Gray locked his gaze on Gora, the broker's greatest fear. In Ryu's opinion, he was merely a musclehead; his body was stronger than ten of his combined.

"Take them in! and transport them to an underground prison where they will be sold as slaves" Gora gave the command, and the guards began to approach them with shackles to bind them.

Gray knocked out the guard who came to shackle him with a single punch.

The other two soldiers charged him from behind; he ducked and tossed them to the wooden wall, which was built of Adam wood and hence did not collapse.

All seven of them came at him with their swords. He kicked and smacked them one by one, knocking them out with a single punch.

Gray sat on the couch as if nothing had happened. He used no weapons nor devil fruit.

Fatty frowned as he saw all the guards knocked down, but he was certain that Gora would catch him because he was the strongest guard in the underground market.

"Gora! Kill him. Don't hold back. "

Gora started transforming into a zoan, his zoan devil fruit allowed him to morph into a gorilla, and he used the devil fruit to advance to his present rank.

"Boy! It was pretty good, but you ran out of luck when you met me. I've never lost to a criminal since morphing into my zoan form. "

Gray gazed at Fatty, who seemed to have a 180-degree change in behavior and looked at Gray as if he was a dead man.

Gorilla threw his punch at Gray with full force, intending to kill him while laughing hysterically.

"How impudent!"

Gray grabbed the metal pipe and smashed it into the gorilla's skull, shattering both the pipe and the skull.

He couldn't even unleash his attack and passed out before realizing what just happened.

Gray flashed a glance at Fatty, whose expression indicated that he knew he had messed up pretty bad. Gray didn't say anything this time, but Fatty spoke up on his own free will, shivering and rushing voice in terror.

"I'm going to tell you everything. Just leave me alive. I will speak each word completely honestly."

Gray was becoming annoyed by his responses. He angered him more than the marine trainees who were thrashed black and blue by him.

"Then speak up. I'm not here to hear your crap. I've already squandered a lot of my time here, and I'm running low on it."

Gray sat elegantly on his cough to listen to the information he wanted to hear.

"Today, someone ordered Adam's wood worth four hundred million bellies." "He only gave me the delivery address and no further information. We don't ask for names, simply a string of phrases to be used as a password to receive wood."

Gray couldn't be certain if it was franky, but it didn't matter whether or not that person was franky. He would simply rob him of his belongings, and that would not change. If he was franky, then he'd hang him upside down in the middle of town.

"Give me the delivery location, and if you try to alter it, my crew of 5,000 men will hunt you down."

Gray could see Fatty's scared demeanor, 'Yet another flawless lie,'

Fatty got out his pen and began scribbling down the delivery address. He was shaking as he wrote the location. Gray grabbed the piece of paper from him.

Gray read the address aloud after opening it. "Code Word: Apple Pie, behind the city's largest gambling den."

"Did I understand this correctly?"

"That's all. That is where the delivery will take place."

Gray folded the piece of paper and placed it in his pocket before turning to face the Fatty.

Fatty was on his knees, terrified in front of Gray. He didn't enjoy bullying, but he also didn't despise it.

Gray approached the fatty slowly and kicked him in the stomach with just enough force to keep him awake. Gray grabbed Fatty's hair and began dragging him around.

He picked him up by clutching his head with one hand and smacked his head against the wood wall, cracking it and knocking him out.

"You had irritated me too much for me to leave it alone. You were due for it."

"Let's leave! We need to catch a rat."
