Stronger

Luffy woke up the same way he had the last 2 months, with a monkey trying to get into his meat stash. He immediately jumps up and throws a fast punch at the monkey sending him flying back into the bushes he came from.

"You guys can't have any either!!" Luffy yelled as he turned around, meeting the eyes of 3 more monkeys trying to sneak up on him. All 4 jumped away and Luffy looked around to make sure it was just then. Only then did he finally relax, sitting back down on his bed under a shelter made of sticks and leaves.

"Stupid Grandpa!! Leaving me out here alone without a boat!! But if I could get this down, I could get back there in a few hours!" Luffy said as he grinned to himself, confident that he could get it this time.

It has been 3 months since the first day his grandpa dragged him to this island and 2 months since he left him alone.

In the month Garp was there to train him, Luffy learned the basics of fighting, how to train his punches so they can be as hard as his grandpa's, and most importantly, he was taught how to use 2 of the 'Six-Powers'. These two are 'Shave' and 'Moon-Walk'.

'Shave' allows users to move at extremely high speeds by kicking off the ground at least 10 times in the blink of an eye.

'Moon-Walk' allows users to push themselves off the air itself with super-humanly, strong kicks, allowing themselves to travel through and remain in mid-air for as long as their leg strength allows them to.

Of course, 7-year-old Luffy couldn't perform these at the start, so Garp had him running around the edge of the island to build stamina as well as doing push-ups and squats with his grandpa sitting on his back.

If he ever complained he would have to do another lap, or his grandpa would grab a heavy rock so it was harder to lift him. Oh, he also didn't let him eat food until he was done with training and he had to catch it himself.

"Finally, after all that training and fighting those stupid monkeys, I'm strong enough to do these moves that Grandpa taught me!!" Luffy said with a massive smile before he rapidly kicked the ground and disappeared.

"Shishishi" Luffy laughed as he zoomed around from place to place with 'Shave'.

"Alright, that one is good, though I'm hungry now." He said as he looked over at his food stash. He started drooling. He dropped his fist into his palm

"Well, I'm leaving today so I can eat it all right now, right?" Luffy said with a smile and drool dripping out of his mouth, proud of his good reasoning.

After cleaning out his food supplies he went over to the edge of the island that he could see Dawn Island from and got ready to go back home with a smile.

"Bye-bye random Island!! I'll be back before I set out to sea to train and beat up all the strong guys here!!" Luffy yelled with a massive smile before bending his knees and launching up into the air faster than most would be able to see.

When he reached the peak of his jump, he slammed his foot down like he was trying to step into the air.

*Pop* *Pop* *Pop*

And he did step on the air.

"Shishishishi!!! Yahoo!!!" Luffy laughed as he sprinted through the air back towards his home.

As he got out 2/3 of the way back, because of dodging the waves that came close to him, he was starting to pant, feeling fatigue start to set in.

"Damn, good thing I brought an in-flight Bento!!" Luffy yelled as he grabbed a stick of meat out from under his shorts and ate it in under a second as he was falling towards the sea.

"Too bad my pockets are too small or I would've brought more." Luffy pouted as he said sadly. He got a burst of energy and started kicking as hard as he could. He could feel his legs burning way more than he felt during training, but he couldn't stop or he would be eaten by the Lord of the Coast, a sea king that resides in the bay of Dawn Island.

As the dock was coming into view, he could see what looked like a pirate ship docked in Foosha Village's port. Before he could think about anything else, he felt his legs give out.

He could tell it was a pirate ship now since it was getting bigger in Luffy's view as he descended straight towards it.

"HELPPPP!!!"
