You're the one that's Crazy

Five Months Later

While the world was still recovering from the news that the biggest pirate group was no more, Ephon was… at the bottom of the sea. 

To explain how he ended up in this situation, we'll have to take it back to two months ago. After he left Voca Island, following the information Nolan researched, Ephon knew that he was looking for aquatic islands half submerged in water, specifically islands that have remained untouched by civilization, and Nolan found an island that matches those exact descriptions.

Half of the island was under water, overrun by weeds, and the other half was above water with luscious trees and vegetation. And one of the reasons why Ephon came here is because of the island's name, 'The Garden of Eve', I mean come on, it couldn't have been any clearer that his Island had what he was looking for.

But who would've thought that when he got here the island was almost fully submerged. So he used wood release to create a gigantic wooden obelisk touching the seafloor to support the part of the island that was still above water.

This was inspired from the foundation of the Sabaody Archipelago islands he had observed when he visited it once.

"Hey what are you doing to my home, you better tell me before I hurt you" 

As soon as Ephon's head emerged from the water, an arrogant female voice caught his attention. In Ephon's sight was a young brown skin woman, with shoulder-length black hair and eyes that have dark, wide pupils, with long, thin, and defined nose and long limbs, especially her legs.

But before Ephon could appreciate her beauty more, a trident was swinging in front of his face, of course this was nothing to him and he easily dodged it.

'And.. of course she's crazy' Ephon couldn't help but think to himself.

Are you trying to kill me you..aww, I swear, I've never met a beauty that's normal" Ephon couldn't help but reflect on the women from his last life and even in this life, like when he tried to recruit Lola she had tried to kill him. 

"How did you dodge, stay still for me, this lady wouldn't kill you, I just wanna know your purpose for being here" although the woman had a warm smile on her face, the trident still aiming at Ephon's face indicated otherwise.

'Soru'

This was one of the skills he had learned around the time he had first got his bounty, he took it from a navy ship, along with Geppo.

Before the beauty could react, Ephon disappeared from her sight, by the time she realized what was going on, Ephon had taken away her trident and aimed it back at her. She only felt a heavy feeling on the back of her neck, her expression changed from a smile to surprise in seconds.

"I'll do the talking, an unstable woman like you is clearly not capable of a proper civilized conversation" before she could talk Ephon ruthlessly shut her up, while throwing her trident back at her with a confident expression.

"So you're here for a plant call 'aroma' that should be on this island, and you were trying to save the island, hmm… this lady can forgive you for trying to save her home" after understanding Ephon's situation, the young beauty replied with a look of understanding. 

"What do you mean forgive me!? I can take your life anytime I want, put away your arrogance little lady" Ephon quickly killed the young beauty's confidence.

"You…you, you barbarian! don't you know how to treat a lady" the young beauty was seemingly taken aback, it seems that she wasn't used to others refuting her.

"Yeah, yeah, this is the real world princesses, get used to it, in fact you're lucky you meet a kind gentleman like myself" Ephon replied nonchalantly.

But surprisingly the woman, this time was silent after hearing Ephon's statement, she even looked a little…sad. And of course, Ephon noticed this, not from her facial expression but from the emotion he felt, don't forget his observation haki can sense others emotion towards him. 

"Now tell me about yourself, I already told you why I'm here so it's your turn" . The beauty's emotion made Ephon curious, so he stubbly tried to inquire about her story.

"Tch, do you think this lady doesn't know what you're trying to do, there's nothing to hide anyways" 

"My name is Eve D. Diana, and yes, as you guessed it, this lady is not from this Island, I was… abandoned" Diana introduced with a look of grief. 

"Hm.. ha, I'm sorry, hahaha, sorry i'm honestly sorry, but hahahaha, you, a full grown adult is sad because you were abandoned" Ephon couldn't hold himself back from laughing at Diana's tragedy, it seemed that he himself was not right in the head.

"You, barbarian, this lady is only nineteen years old, and I'm not sad that I was abandoned, I'm not… tch, why am I explaining myself, men shouldn't hit women, they shou" 

"I should what? save a beauty in distress? become your follower? treat you like a princess? Listen Diana, I don't care about who you are, what you are or where you came from, I Ephon Jarilo treat everyone equally! and don't let those stories books fool you, reality is far crueler than they convey" Ephon didn't even let Diana finish her sentence.

"And I'm curious though, do you know what the D in your name means?" this was actually the thing that caught Ephon's attention the most.

"The D? I don't know, that woman said that it has something to do with my father, but he's dead so I never thought about it." Diana replied with an obvious unconcerned expression about the matter.

"So let me guess, 'that woman' is your mother, and her abandoning you on this island has something to do with your dead father" Seeing that Diana wasn't interested, Ephon switched the subject to another matter.

"No! You guessed wrong, 'that woman', is the woman who raised me, she pick me up at the beach in a basket when I was a baby with a note from my father, at least that's part of the story she told me, but I found out later that my father actually gave her five hundred thousand berries to raise me, but he died at sea, in case you're wondering, he was a pirate, as for my biological mother, I don't know anything about her" Diana replied still with a nonchalant expression, but Ephon's observation haki told him otherwise.

"Wait, you said your name is Eve D. Diana? Aren't you curious as to why you have the same name as this Island? That's actually pretty weird if you ask me, wait how did you get here?" Ephon quickly realized that this seven feet tall beauty may have more mystery surrounding her than just the D in her name.

"This lady didn't even know that Eve was this Island's name, this lady remembers that about two years ago, that woman and I decided to go fishing, it's just that this time we went farther out from the island compare to how far we normally go, and after we were a good distance away from the island, she gave me something to drink and my vision became blurry, and when I realize something was wrong, I felt something hit me on the back of the head, and before I blank out I realize that I was falling overboard into the sea. When I woke up, I was here on an island half submerged into the sea, while the other unsubmerged half was filled with luscious vegetation and food…"

Sabaody Archipelago - Grove Twenty Seven

The Sabaody Archipelago is, in actuality, a massive mangrove forest in the middle of the ocean made up of 79 separate trees known as Yarukiman Mangrove. The Yarukiman Mangrove trees are the largest mangroves in the world and are strong enough to grow from the bottom of the ocean to the top. Each tree is called a grove and serves as an island for which people live on. People can get from one grove to another via the various bridges built connecting around the many tree roots. 

The seventy-nine trees are divided into several different areas or groves, with each one dependent on the number of the area. And groves 1 to 29 are known as the lawless area where pirates and bounty hunters run amok, of course with the indirect permission from the world government. 

"Hey? Why is everyone lined up like navy dogs, we are pirates, we don't follow rules, we are free men" a loud voice was heard from among a crowd of people standing in front of a huge wooden building. 

In front of the huge crowd of people was a huge five story wooden pagodas, it was a tower like, multistory, hollow structure made of wood only, the pagoda roofs are sloped, and they overhang from the inner cell walls. They are supported on the outer edge by wooden struts on wooden pillars, and in front of the entrance to the building is a wooden sign with the words 'Nature's Provider'. 

"If you wanna die you can break the rules, but don't get us implicated" a voice replied loudly, gaining unanimous support from the crowd.

"Hmph! I'm not scared of anyone, I am Bah the Bomber with a bounty of 100 million berries, lets see who's gonna kill me" listening to the 8 feet tall buff brown skin man, covered in hair, the people in line only cast contemptuous smiles at him. They could see clearly that this guy had muscles for brain

"Boss! Boss! stop we can't offend the group behind this company, the Natu.. the Nature's Family own this company, if we offend them, even if we somehow escape here, we wouldn't know how we died in these seas"

A middle aged man suddenly ran in front of Bah with a frightened expression stopping Bah from making a dumb decision. Because if Bah offended this group, they wouldn't have to only be scared of Nature's Family Group, they would have to be on guard around their fellow pirates who'd wanna catch them to curry favors with Nature's Family.

Bah's arrogant expression changed to a frightened one in seconds, he's not that dumb to not know a little about Nature's Family, well everyone that paid attention to the news at sea within the last six months knows about this monstrous group. According to the reports from the World Government, Nature's Family decided to give up their lives as pirates after their last battle with the Navy.

This would make regular civilians think that Nature's Family are scared of the Navy or suffered some kind of lost but the pirates and members of the underworld understand the truth, which is after fighting against the Navy, WG, and two big pirate groups combine, Nature's Family pirate came out almost untouched whiles the two pirates groups who joined the Navy and WG bodies are still floating in the sea. 

Not only that, the Navy weirdly also suffered little loss compared to the two big pirates, from the outside looking in, it seems that the navy were indeed superior in that fight, but those from the underworld with connections and the insiders are aware that Nature's Family group did that on purpose, which is incredible, but what happened after that fight made anyone paying attention with a good Iq scalp tingle. Nature's Pirate announced that they will retreat to the calm belts where they will set up their own legal territory free of the WG's rule after a meeting with the WG, and will not be subjected to the Heavenly Tribute. 

The many implications behind those statements were frightening, because anyone with a little brain would know that the WG would rather capture or kill anything that threatens their rule. But the fact that Nature's Family group, who are capable of going toe to toe with the full power Navy and publicly shown strength of WG, bounties were suddenly withdrawn means that even the WG that had been ruling for the last seven hundred years might not be able to deal with them or the cost for doing so might not be worth it, and that is frightening enough.

The Normal strategy for these big group pirates by the WG is to target the leaders of the groups instead of focusing on the entire group, so when the leader is injured or dies the group will end up disbanding. 

But everyone in these seas knows that the Wrath of Nature Ephon is a monster that has almost never lost, at least it seems that those that might have defeated him are not alive to tell the tale because there's no such rumors and not only that, his perverted healing abilities and monstrous stamina makes him hard to kill, so they understand a little bit about this guys strength without even fighting him, not to mention his four cadres. 

So after their disbandment, the seas were in turmoil, but then suddenly an announcement came out from the Nature's Family group about them starting a wooding shipping company where they will sell wood made by the Wrath of Nature himself, and that sent shock wave through the seas because everyone wanted to have the high quality wood and trees created by Ephon. 

The blackmarket even sold trees and wood left back from his battles at high prices, so they understood what it meant, even if it wasn't as strong as the Treasure Tree Adam. So with the little information he had, Bah who had now connected the dots was looking at the five story building in front of him with a gloomy expression, he didn't even realize that his clothes were soaked in sweat.
