Buggy took his time exploring every corner of the Thousand Sunny, growing more impressed with each step he took. The ship was well-equipped, boasting a variety of facilities including a library, studios, a restaurant, medical rooms, and even an aquarium bar.
However, not everything was perfect. One drawback Buggy noted was that the Sunny wasn't originally designed to accommodate medium to large pirate crews, resulting in limited living quarters.
Aside from the two women who had private rooms, everyone else was crammed into a single room filled with bunk beds. Fortunately, the space was large enough to add a dozen more bunks if needed.
Another thing that bothered Buggy was that, while everyone seemed to have their own designated space—snipers had an infirmary, cooks had a galley, the ship's doctor had a medical bay, the historian had a library, the swordsman had a training area, and even the navigator had a spacious bathroom and wardrobe—the captain didn't have his own private office or room.
As a result, Buggy had no choice but to claim the library as his temporary office.
Moreover, despite the ship's impressive size, it lacked a prison. Currently, Boa Hancock and Diamond Jozu were both tied to the mast on the deck, as there was no proper place to detain them.
Buggy wasn't in a rush to leave. With Blackbeard and Doflamingo's men yet to arrive, he decided to send some of the crew to the nearby island to gather supplies for their next voyage. At the very least, they needed to buy some decent chairs!
When it came to purchasing supplies, Buggy didn't hesitate to raid Nami's safe for the necessary funds, laughing as he pocketed the Beli.
Later, Buggy sat at the desk in the library and stretched, glancing over at the ever-composed Domino sitting opposite him. "Do you want to go to the island and pick up some new clothes or something?"
Domino, her expression as stoic as ever, shook her head. "No need. Those two girls have plenty of new clothes in their rooms that they haven't even worn yet. That should be enough for me for a long time."
"Suit yourself," Buggy replied with a shrug, pausing for a moment before asking, "By the way, would you be interested in a Devil Fruit?"
Domino was taken aback, her brows furrowing slightly. "You mean Boa Hancock's Love-Love Fruit?"
Buggy shook his head. "No, her Love-Love Fruit is... special. I'd be really upset if you ended up with her personality after eating it."
Without realizing it, Domino's mind wandered as she thought of the gesture of scratching one's head in confusion, and she couldn't help but shiver.
She couldn't imagine leaning back at a forty-five-degree angle and looking down her nose at someone!
Noticing her reaction, Buggy grinned and said, "I'm talking about the Diamond Fruit from Diamond Jozu! I originally intended to give it to Richie, a member of my crew, but considering the current state of this ship, it's not really suitable for holding prisoners. So, it's up to you—do you want it?"
Domino adjusted her sunglasses and asked, "Who is this 'Richie'?"
"Richie," Buggy said vaguely, not mentioning that Richie was originally a pet on his ship. He added, "Richie is a crew member on my pirate ship, a subordinate of mine!"
Domino frowned, deep in thought, but didn't agree right away.
Buggy, unbothered, continued, "Although you're not a fighter, sticking with me means you should have some means of protecting yourself!"
"Diamond Fruit grants immense defense and immunity to most attacks, but it's a bit too flashy. If you don't like it, no worries, I can help you find something better!"
The thought of the diamond's hardness made Buggy uncomfortable. Since he wasn't made of diamond himself, he initially didn't plan on giving the Diamond Fruit to Domino, worried about potential complications.
However, considering their current unknown location and the burden of keeping the half-dead Diamond Jozu aboard, Buggy started contemplating handing the Diamond Fruit to Domino.
After a moment of silence, Domino asked, "Who are you planning to give the Golden Lion's Float-Float Fruit to?"
Buggy hadn't been secretive when dealing with Blackbeard, so Domino was aware that Buggy was determined to acquire the Float-Float Fruit.
Not wanting Buggy to grow even more powerful, Domino decided she would fight for that fruit.
Buggy raised an eyebrow, his tone teasing, "What, you're interested in that Devil Fruit?"
Domino nodded without expression and firmly said, "I want it."
Buggy scratched his head awkwardly and said, "This is a bit tricky. After all, Teach likely wants that Devil Fruit for himself, and we'll still need his help to actually get our hands on the power of the Float-Float Fruit."
Domino's expression remained unchanged, but her heart began to race uncontrollably.
She knew how important the Float-Float Fruit was; otherwise, she wouldn't have spoken up. But she also knew that her stay with Buggy was due to his threats. Would Buggy really risk offending Blackbeard to give her the fruit?
"Well, it's not entirely impossible to give you the Float-Float Fruit," Buggy mused, "but Teach has to do his part first. Here, come closer!"
Buggy thought for a moment and then motioned with his finger for Domino to come over.
Though uncertain of Buggy's intentions, Domino walked around the desk and leaned in toward him.
But in the next moment, Buggy suddenly reached out, wrapped his arm around Domino's slender waist, and pulled her into his embrace!
Domino gasped, her usual indifferent expression slipping as she struggled to free herself. However, the difference in their strength was too great, and she couldn't break free from Buggy's hold!
"Alright, just listen to me!" Buggy commanded.
He gave Domino a playful slap, causing a blush to bloom on her cheeks, and she stopped struggling.
With a satisfied smile, Buggy leaned in close to Domino's ear and whispered, "You're like this..."
Domino's face grew redder and redder, but when Buggy finally stated his conditions, she couldn't help but widen her eyes in disbelief, turning her head to look at him.
"That's it?"
Domino was shocked. She had been prepared to pay a hefty price, thinking it would be around 10 billion, but Buggy only asked for 100 million! And even that seemed like an easy demand to meet—just 100 million!
Buggy, too, was momentarily taken aback by Domino's reaction, but quickly realized he had underestimated the price!
He cursed his inexperience in negotiations but was relieved that he still had a chance to correct it.
Buggy shook his head resolutely and said, "Of course, that's not all!"
Domino, realizing she had miscalculated, felt a pang of regret as she shook her head in frustration, "No! But you just said—"
But Buggy, now aware of her limits, wouldn't back down. He tightened his grip on Domino, leaned closer to her, and with a confident smirk, whispered, "Domino-chan, I'm afraid you've misunderstood. Here, my rules are the only rules."
