After Law realized that Buffalo saw what he did to Corazon, Law chased Buffalo and then bribed him with ice cream to keep his mouth shut so that the Family shouldn't know what he did. But, just in case, Law still prepared to escape after what he did.

But then, he was caught and brought back by Machvise and Giolla to headquarter.

And, when he's brought back before Doflamingo and saw Rosinante still alive, Law thought he would be tortured and killed.

But apparently, Doflamingo instead said he was officially accepted as a member of the Donquixote Pirates and would be trained. Law, was quite confused by this decision, but then he secretly found out that Corazon actually told Doflamingo that it was the enemy who stabbed him. That's why he wasn't tortured or killed.

More than a year has passed, the Donquixote Pirates are making a move all over the North Blue.

In addition, this is also to train their young members, namely Buffalo, Lepus, Brisa, and Law.

Within that year of movements, the Donquixote Pirates got a devil fruit and Doflamingo offered it to Brisa.

"Brisa, this is for you."

Doflamingo said to Brisa.

But Brisa a bit hesitated to accepted it, so she looked at Lepus trying to asked his opinion.

"Onii-sama...."

Lepus smiled and only answered briefly.

"Just take it. It's all right."

Brisa then took the fruit and ate it a bit.

And the devil fruit eaten is the same as in the original One Piece story, namely the Buki-Buki no Mi.

With this, Lepus's main goal of becoming part of the Donquixote Family has been achieved.

In his heart, Lepus smirked like a devil.

One day a few months later, Law told the other young members of Donquixote Family that his real name was Trafalgar D. Water Law.

Corazon who happened to be passing by and heard this, then suddenly dragged Law into a quiet alley.

Then Corazon told Law that if he was a "D"s, then he should stay away from Doflamingo.

Then he demonstrated the power of his Nagi-Nagi no Mi and told Law that all his dumb and clumsy behavior so far was just a ruse, and said that his goal in the Donquixote Pirates was to stop Doflamingo.

Corazon tells Law that the "D"s are "natural enemy of gods", so Law should stay away from Doflamingo.

Law didn't want to, and instead ran away saying he would tell Doflamingo about Corazon's secret.

When Corazon returned to the ship because the crew will returning to sail, before boarding the ship Law told Corazon that he changed his mind and would not divulge the secret because Corazon previously had not told Doflamingo when Law stabbed him about two years ago.

After that, Corazon decided to "kidnap" Law and only left a message for the Donquixote Pirates which said that he was going to find a way to cure Law's illness.
