Chapter 26: Gion's Visit, Pretty Boy Chika?

In the following days, during the day, Chika helped his roommates with their training, while in the afternoon, he went to the deserted area behind the mountain to train his Haki.

After unleashing twelve consecutive punches with [Ambition Heart], Chika lay on the ground, panting heavily.

[Ambition Heart] was currently Chika's strongest individual physical attack. With less than a week left until the assessment, he had already reached the point of delivering twelve strikes.

"That's enough. The students of this generation won't be able to withstand this move, especially since the [Ambition Heart] relies on Haki. Even the Logia users wouldn't be able to withstand it."

But since she had come, Chika couldn't let her wait there.

He grabbed Bridge by the collar and before Bridge could react, he found himself already in mid-air, prompting him to scream,

Gion also saw Chika descending from the sky. A hint of joy flashed in her eyes, but her face displayed a slight expression of anger. Wearing high heels, she walked quickly towards Chika.

Once she stood in front of Chika, Gion pinched his ear, brought her face close to his ear, and pretended to be angry.

"You're such a busy person, little brother Chika! Do you know that I've been waiting for you here for half a day?"

Chika didn't mind his ear being held by Gion. He calmly replied, "Gion-neesan, I received the message that you were coming to see me and immediately rushed here. You've misunderstood me."

Gion glanced at Bridge, who was lying on the ground with rolled-up eyes, and finally couldn't keep up the act any longer. She composed herself, released Chika's ear, and looked directly into his face. She softly said,

"It's been a long time, little brother Chika."

Chika smiled faintly and opened his arms.

"It's been a while, Gion-neesan."

However, when Gion saw Chika's gesture, she remembered their last parting and their embrace. Her face turned red, and she glared at Chika, standing still with her arms crossed.

Chika stood there in his pose, looking somewhat comical. He quickly lowered his arms, raised his hand to touch his nose, trying to cover up the slight awkwardness just now.

Gion pointed at Chika's forehead with her finger and smiled as she spoke,

"Wasn't our last hug enough? Don't forget what I told you. When you graduate and achieve your goal, I will agree to a certain condition."

Chika assured her that he hadn't forgotten and was constantly striving for it.

Seeing Sen's determined expression, Gion chuckled with her hand covering her mouth, then pinched Sen's cheek, and got to the main topic,

"I heard from Tsuru-neesan that you're about to have the year-end assessment, and the rewards for the top three positions are not bad. So, how confident are you?"

Chika shrugged indifferently,

"I'm confident in my victory."

Gion increased the strength of pinching Chika's cheek upon seeing him acting so naive.
