Chapter 21
It took every ounce of self-control for Sterling not to snap and pounce on him. He had never encountered anyone as captivating and as enchanting as Zeke. He had no idea how the man managed to be so damn innocent and enticing all the time. He still wondered whether Zeke was as inexperienced as he acted. Yet that seemed impossible, with Zeke being twenty-two years old.
However, Sterling didn’t think too much about it for the time being. Instead, he took out his smartphone and clicked on the mobile application for his favorite pizza place and ordered several to be delivered.
“Maybe if you’re a good boy,” Zeke eventually said.
“I’m alwaysgood,” Sterling protested as he sat beside Zeke.
Zeke smiled. “Okay. Fine. You are.”
“Damn right.”
Zeke snuggled close to Sterling. “By the way, I need to talk to you about something important.”
Sterling’s heart abruptly beat harder and faster. That sounded really ominous. Also, Zeke’s expression sobered. “What’s it about?”
