Also, this world can be considered an AU. I tried to add it to the tag but I couldn't find it so I have just mentioned it in the synopsis.

As the demon flew toward the city the sirens in the city started to ring. The people in the city quickly and steadily entered the underground bunkers as they had been trained to do.

The knights quickly made a protective ring throughout the city to suppress any enemy attack.

The knights were staying ever vigilant as Hinata was away from the city. But as they were preparing to face any attack one of them saw something flying in the sky.

"Look it's the enemy from the looks of it it's a demon." One of the knights said while pointing at the sky.

"It looks like it alone."

"It must have escaped from the town."

"Hoo, Good I thought a hard fight was upon us." A knight said while wiping the sweat from his head.

"Ohhoho, They are underestimating me." The demon said listening to their conversation.

"This should do it." The demon said and pointed its finger at a knight.

<Demonic Magic: Corroding Death>

As he did his spell a mass of black was created and it flew toward the Knight. 

Just as the knight was about to be hit a hand dragged him back narrowly dodging the attack. The moment the attack landed on the ground the ground melted and turned black.

"ALL THE KNIGHTS INSIDE THE CITY, QUICK." Said the man who just saved the knight.

The man had red hair and was wearing the holy knight captain's armor. Gripping the spear in his tightly he looked at the demon.

As his order was heard all the knights quickly entered the barrier and the Demon didn't move and just watched them in amusement.

"Garde, It's an Arch demon and it also seems to have a physical body." Said another man as he appeared behind him.

He had long white hair and a handsome face. He was also wearing the standard Knight captain armor.

"I can see that Fritz and where the hell is Sare," Garde replied without looking back after all the demon could attack at any time.

"I don't know he seems to have disappeared," Fritz said as he took out a book from his storage ring.

" F#ck, Just my luck that bastard he talks so big, and now in case of trouble he just disappeared," Garde said with an angry face.

"Now, Now is the time for your talk finished." The demon said after amplifying his voice and slowly descending down.

"Bit#h I will show you," Garde shouted as his spear was covered with flames and he charged at the demon.

<Fury Spear>

With increased speed, he attacked the demon multiple times with his flame-covered spear but to his dismay, all of his attack was blocked by a magic barrier.

<Multi layer Barrier>

Seeing such a futile attack coming toward him the demon just gave an evil smirk and pointed his hand at his attacker.

<Destruction Magic: Beam of Destruction>

A beam was fired from his attack at point-blank range which Garde had no hopes of blocking if he was fighting alone.

A teleportation circle formed beneath him and he was teleported away from the range of the attack. 

The attack flew and hit the Holy Barrier and a blast sound was heard, as the smoke from the blast was cleared there was no sign of damage in the barrier.

  The demon narrowed its eyes as it looked at the barrier. After a while, the demon turned its focus toward the human fighting it.

"You idiot why did you charge at the demon," Fritz said to Garde who just appeared next to him.

"Yay, Yay I did it because I knew that you had my back," Garde said while still looking at the demon.

"Idiot because of you I had to waste an artifact that could teleport people," Fritz said while looking at the broken crystal in his hands.

"As I said before the time for you to talk has ended." The demon again spoke. Then it opened its mouth more than it should be physically possible for the body revealing razor-sharp teeth.

<Destruction Magic: Destructive Death>

A huge beam of red light was created in its mouth which was getting darker and bigger by the second.

"Garde get behind me," Fritz shouted and started to chant his magic.

<Multi-Layered Holy Wind Barrier>

A large barrier made of golden wind was formed in front of him but he wasn't done.

<Holy Wind Magic: Hurricane>

A large hurricane made of golden wind was formed and it moved toward the demon's direction at great speed.

The demon without a care in the world fired its attack, A huge beam of light moving at great speed collided with the hurricane destroying it to nothingness and continuing on its way.

Seeing his strongest attack get so easily destroyed Fritz's face turned ugly and he supplied more magicule to the barrier.

In a matter of seconds, the beam collided with the barrier, and a huge flash of light was seen.

BOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOMMM

"Hehehe, Now that's done it's time to destroy that pesky barrier." The demon said and flew from the place he was standing.

But as he was about to attack the barrier the barrier disappeared leaving the city unprotected.

"Ooo, How convenient," The demon said while giving a sneer.

As the explosion settled in place of it was a giant crater from him two greatly injured figures crawled out.

Those two were of course Fritz and Garde, They had barely managed to survive the attack but they currently weren't in any shape or form to move and fight the demon.

And these are called people equal to the demon lord, how embarrassed must they be if they remember the endless arrogance they had before meeting Ryuu?

Seeing the holy barrier disabled their face was filled with horror.

While all this was happening a gentle breeze of wind passed through the main wall of the holy city near the main gate.
