Ch.127 Ryuu Got An Illness

Sorry for the late update, I had some class assignments to do. Now that I have completed it, The update should be back to normal.

After talking to Chika for a while and giving her explicit details about some things not to do... like telling Utaha about Ryuu's illness or his leave tomorrow, she cuts the phone.
After seeing the figure of Ryuu resting on the sofa, with Sora on his lap. She gets a little jealous.. but knowing that Sora has no chance of winning this race she enters the kitchen again.
As for Ryuu, he just stays there silently patting Sora's head.
A serene atmosphere is created in the room as a harmonic silence descends. Other than the breathing of the three, the sound of the television, and Yukino's cooking nothing else is heard.
The three figures in the house don't mind it as they enjoy the silence.
Suddenly Ryuu's phone vibrates a little as he opens it. A message from Utaha, seeing that he opens it.
+Utaha- Are you alright Ryuu? I hear you are sick. Do you want me to come?
She asks as Ryuu types his reply, as for how Utaha got to know this information even though Yukino warned Chika against it.
Well, what she didn't count for was the fact that Utaha was just next to Chika when Yukino called her. So the topic that was being discussed is naturally known to Utaha.
As for why Ryuu isn't surprised by this reply.. well he had seen the event happen. As for how he says it.. well due to him spreading his mana sense throughout the universe.
This is also the reason he is acting quite sluggish currently, after all, he and True Sage are currently planning the development rate of this world.
Ryuu has already started to blast Yukino and Sora with his energy, and due to it being regulated by True Sage, there is no chance of harm to them.
'True Sage, can you cut me off the sense? It is quite taxing to see everything happening in the universe at the same time.'
Ryuu said as he typed his reply to Utaha.
+Ryuu- Everything is alright, it's just a mild fever. You don't have to come. Then see you after some days Utaha.
[Understood Master]
True Sage replies as Ryuu is cut out of the link, well he has already done his part of the job.
+Utaha- Are you really alright.?
She asks in a flash as she sends her photo looking at him suspiciously.
+Ryuu- Why?
Ryuu asks in bewilderment, after all, he can't really understand Utaha's train of thought currently.
+Utaha- Well for starters, you are calling me Utaha instead of Utaha San what you used to call me before.
Utaha replies back as she types it on her phone, Chika next to her is as confused as her looking at this conversation.
After all the only people Ryuu calls without adding honorifics are Yukino and Sora. So how can it just change in a matter of a moment?
Also his typing, also she can't point her finger at where she is getting this feeling. She feels like they contain more emotions than before.
+Ryuu- Well, do you not want me to?
Ryuu asks as he gives a sad emoji, seeing this Utaha hurriedly types. After all, this is the second time in her life she has been called just Utaha by Ryuu.
+Utaha- No, no no... It's nothing like that. In fact, I would like you to keep calling me like that. After all, we are friends.
Seeing Utaha's reply a smile appears on Ryuu's face as he types back.
+Ryuu- Ok then I will just call you Utaha from now on. Hehe, also that was a joke.
Utaha waits for Ryuu's replies and as it appears she reads it. A look of utter shock appears on her face.. something isn't right.
After all, even if it was in words the Ryuu she knows now won't do that. If it was some years back she wouldn't have seen any problem with it.
+Utaha- I am coming.
With those short words she closes her phone, saying goodbye to the equally confused Chika she books a taxi.
+Ryuu- Ok
Ryuu replies as he closes his phone, he of course did it on purpose. After all, explaining it at home is easier than explaining it in school or any other environment.
"Food is ready."
Yukino announces as she calls them to eat, Sora stands up from his lap as she closes down the television.
Ryuu also stands up as he fixes her clothes that has been messed up a little.
Sora just stands there silently letting her brother do his thing, after all, she quite enjoys the care he shows her.
Even after he started to lose his emotion this didn't change, a memory flashed through her mind.
The memory of the time when she was harassed by some high schoolers. She remembers her brother protecting her... she also remembers that....
Giving a quick look at her brother she buried it deep inside her mind again, after all, she had promised herself that unless her brother brought it up, she wouldn't.
After all, she doesn't want him to drift away from her, that would be the day she would lose value in living.
After all her world is her brother and without him, what use it there to keep living?
Walking toward the dining room, Sora and Ryuu sit down on their chair as Yukino serves the food. The food looked delicious as always, a fruit of Ryuu teaching her for years.
"Itadakimasu"
All three of them say as they enjoy the food, a harmonious and cheerful atmosphere.
An atmosphere all three of them hope always remains, after all, they have been living together for years now and have developed a family bond which they don't wish to break.
Although Yukino and Sora may not like the fact that both of them are trying to become Ryuu's girlfriend and later wife. They will still treat each other like sisters, as that's what they are.
A family not connected by blood, but by the trust and mutual understanding they have for each other.
With a little bit of fighting once in a while, like any family.
