Chapter 3

As david and mary head out keeping hidden into the shadows they look thru the child window watching the shtriga get closer and closer to the child the kid wakes up to see that he is not alone in his room he about to scream for help the shtriga raises her finger to shut up the kid from screaming as he controls the bed blankets he ties up the kid so he has no where to run he get close to the child grabbing his face he can eat his life force opening his own mouth while forcing the child to keep his open he starts to drain him of his life force energy making the child get weaker and closed to passing out as david along with mary watches this happen from the window they slowly enter his room and sneaking behind the shtriga so they can catch her off guard taking this moment to attack mary charges first jamming the blade weapon into her back making sure to aim for her heart but the shtriga manages to notice mary trying to stab her from the back so she grab her arm that's holding the blade throwing her across the room knocking her out david charges forward delivering a punch to the face sending her crashing thru the wall.

Taking this moment distancing away from the hunters she retreats running away toward the forest taking shortcut across the many houses so she won't get spotted she makes it out of the village heading straight to the trees so she won't be followed david arrives in time to see her head to the forest but before she can hide into the shadows david uses his air power around his feet and arm to boost himself forward faster to catch up to her so she won't leave ever again as he grab on to her he throws her over his shoulder slamming her on the ground knocking the air put of her making her gasp for air taking this chance he punches her until she is unable to move anymore but the shtriga has a strong defense so she headbutt him sending him back crashing into a tree as the shtriga gets up she get all up in his face compelling him to open his mouth david tries to fight it for a while but is no match for someone who is older than him as he is getting his life force drained mary comes to the rescue sneaking behind her and lands a good stab blow to the heart.

Making the shtriga scream in pain holding onto the blade saying that they will regret killing her so they will have to wait for her to return as she says this she smile devilish saying that very soon she will have her revenge along with everyone who has died and they will make them pay as she speaks her last sentence her last breath leaves her body and she collapse into the ground david and mary watches this dropping down taking a moment to breath again without worry as they both fist bump each other knowing that this is a job well done they head toward the village taking this time for them to sleep for a long while sleeping for almost six hour's david get woken up by multiples knocks coming from the front door as he gets up he walk toward the door answering who ever knocking as he open the door he see that he is surrounded by a huge crowd of people from the village who are holding baskets full of food smiling with tears mary hears this waking up heading toward the door to see what is the commotion as her eye's adjust the entire village have come to thank them both.

For helping them protect their children's lives and for protecting them from the monster who has taken many life already everyone starts to form a line dropping off their basket one by one fill with gratitude stacking them by the staircase cheering for them in unity saying that they couldn't have asked for a better mayor and that her grandpa would've been real proud of her accomplishments as mary hears this she start to tear up with a big smile on her face telling her people that she will live up to her expectation and help this village grow more as community as everyone's cheer for her shouting her name thru out the whole village david tell mary that she did a good thing today and hopes that this will show her that being the mayor is important for them so she has to show them she can do it but she also has to rely on the people more so they won't have any more unwanted visitor's.

Mary says that from now on she will make a new law force full of the village people to help each other and to protect themselves to served for a better tommorow that they can all live for as the people cheer louder that echoes across the whole area david tells everyone that right now they both need sleep right this instance or they won't be able to keep on doing good work for the people of banilla as everyone leave telling them thank an to enjoy the basket full of food, david quickly takes every single basket that is left in the stairs inside mary kitchen to go see what they made for them as they both sit down looking thru the basket one by one overjoyed they find each one to be fill with delicious foods and alcohols as they chow down stuffing their faces full of delicious food taking huge sips of the alcohol so they won't choke on their food as they finish devouring all the food along with the drinks they put there legs in the table and let out a big burp agreeing that was the best lunch that they have ever tasted as time passes by david is relaxing in the living room couch he looks at his wrist gadget and notices that he has stay for a bit longer than he had originally planned to as he pick up his stuff he goes to mary room finding her sound asleep in her bed as he writes her a thank you letter saying thank for buying her food and for helping with the case.
