Another stranger

"What are you doing here? You should have waited for me downstairs. I was searching for you all around ." 

A new voice rang out from behind of the  strange boy; successfully cutting his sentence  off.

The boy turned toward the voice and I looked behind him toward the new intruder.

A girl came through the door of the dorm room. She looked somewhat of same age as me. With long waist-length, light brown hair tied in tight ponytail, she had black T-shirt and trousers on; combined with black converse. She looked cute in her outfit and her sense of fashion seems good.

Furthermore, Black totally seemed to be her favorite color. Everything about her screams perfection. Nothing on her looked out of place, not even a single strand of her hair. She must have done great work to be able to maintain such long waist-length hair.

I was in awe of her. I have mid waist-length brown hair, falling straight with light curl toward the end. They look nice and silky but managing them is the most difficult thing. At times, it's too frustrating to mange them and taking care of them.

"Oh here you are! I was waiting for you here. You were taking too long so I came on my own." 

The guy replied nonchalantly. He doesn't seems to be slight bit apologetic.

The girl, who just entered looked at Robin in irritation. She was turning red from anger and the gritting of her teeth did not went unnoticed. Her fist turned white from clenching and her eyes were throwing lasers. Taking a deep breath, she continued.

"You should have at least told me you were leaving first. I was  searching for you  downstairs. At last, the receptionist told me you went upstairs."

"Chill. I was here only. I was just checking out your room."

The guy stated while looking around the room. He nodded to himself after checking up the room.

"WAIT WHAT???"

I exclaimed. My eyes were wide from the sudden realisation.

"You know it's not good to check a girl's room out."

Said the girl, with a flat face, probably more calm from before.

"IT'S NOT YOUR ROOM BUT HER'S!!!"

I stated while pointing at the girl in front of me. Although, I had an urge to smack the guy for not telling me this before. I was almost convinced that he is my roommate. But after hearing that the girl is sharing this room with me, I had sudden relief shot through my heart. I was relieved beyond words. I had almost planned on throwing the strange boy out of my room. My mind was constantly giving me ideas on what I was going to do after I escaped this room.

I planned to go to office and demand an exchange of room. I was so ready to charge out of this room but before I could take action, another stranger arrived, which I think is my 'real' roommate.

" I was just dropping your luggage off. I knew you will be here shortly so I was waiting for you here." Said the guy.

" WHAT THE HELL IS GOING ON?" I exclaimed again but my words seems to be falling deaf to their ear.

" Oh hey! I didn't saw you there. By the way, I am Emily and this doofus here, is my brother, Robin. And I am your roommate. Nice to meet you."

Emily introduced herself and her brother after finally noticing that they are not alone.

" Hello, I am Ella and nice to meet you both, even though I got quite a fright earlier."

Emily laughed and said " It's nice to meet you too, Ella. I see you have already settled. Great, which bed is mine?" 

She asked as she strolled toward the bed placed at the further corner of the room while taking in the decor and arrangement of the room.

"Oh! The lower one. I hope you don't mind that I took the upper one."

I answered her while scratching my neck and giving her a tight lipped smile.

" Oh, it's no big deal. I am happy with either one. I just want to have a comfy bed to crash on."

Emily said while setting her things on her bed.

She sat down and jumped a little on the bed, probably to check if it's comfortable for her or not.

"Great then, I have already arranged my things as you can see but if you find any inconvenience you can tell me anytime. I have left some space for you to place your things, so you can settle down. Oh, and by the way I am going to get some snacks wanna accompany me to the nearby cafe?" I replied.

" Okay, I will tell you if I had any problem or felt any kind of inconvenience. And give me 5 minutes and we are good to go." Emily said.

"Okay Great." I nodded to her.

" Give me my bags and go find your own room."

Emily said to her brother, Robin who was still present in the room.

"But I am hungry too"

Robin said making cute puppy face. He plead to Emily all the while pouting his lips in a childish manner.

"When you are not" Emily said with a huff.

She looked toward me, probably asking me if it's okay to bring him or not. Truthfully, I don't like eating alone, so for me, it's the more the merrier.

" I don't have any problem with him coming with us. He can come along with us too. The more, the merrier I guess"  I agreed to bring Robin, because why not? I don't see a problem.

"YAY. Give me 5 mins. I am just going to drop my things off then we can begin our food hunt."

With that he bolted out of the room with his bags.

I sat down on one of the chair placed in front of study table. I pulled out my phone from the pocket and opened my schedule for tomorrow. 

I have Maths, chemistry and french lessons for the first half and Physics, Computer science Physical education for the second half.

What a good day to begin with.

Please note the sarcasm in my speech. Chemistry and Physics are way out of my league. God bless my soul tomorrow.

Soon I heard the footsteps of Emily as she returned from the bathroom, and came toward me. I raised my head toward her as she asked.

"Are we good to go?"

" Yup " I replied, looking at the schedule one last time.

"What about your brother?" I asked as I put my phone back into the pocket of my jeans.

"He-"

" Hey!! we good to go?"

Robin busted through the doors before Emily can say anything to me.

" And there he is. Yeah we are good. Let's go"

Said Emily.

"Let's go. I am starving."

Robin whined holding his stomach.

"Let's go"

I said to the both of them and with that we set out to begin our food hunt.
