" You really didn't have to come with me, Shou. You could've just stayed home and spent some time with Ming-Yue." Abidemi said as she climbed off the carriage and helped Shou out of it. Shou only shook her head as she signed a few words. Abidemi smiled. "You want to make sure that he's okay too. Huh."
Shou nodded her head which made Abidemi smile at her.
Abidemi giggled as she looked at the shining afternoon sun. It was beating down on both of their backs, she was carrying a basket that was filled with many types of food. She had spent most of the morning cooking with Ming-Yue and Shou, both of them stealing some food here and there.
She tried to stop them but those two were much too sneaky. She lost count of the times she slapped their hands away. She was so tempted to chase them out of the kitchen too but she had to pay attention to the food.
So they got lucky.
