The Awakening

"Finally home." Abidemi said while she collapsed into bed with a small bounce. She let out a long yawn as she stretched her arms out and sighed. Luckily, she had a day off the next day so she could sleep in if she wanted to. 

Abidemi yawned and turned to lie on her back as she looked at the ceiling. So much has happened that she needed some time to process the night. So much craziness and so much paperwork. 

Then there was Asher.

She should really go see him later. Maybe she could pack up some of his favorite treats and maybe some of Akeem's. 

She was well aware that Akeem likes hot and spicy things. Maybe she will make something like that along those lines. 

But that could take her hours. She hummed.
