On one side of the castle walked Marco and Lady Bethany who now and then would peek to look at Marco before looking shyly looking away.
"You keep staring at me that I'm starting to think you brought me out here to look at my face." Marco slightly turned to look at the girl who reached almost below his shoulder.
Shorty. He called her in his mind.
Lady Bethany blushed upon hearing what Marco said. After a while, she replied, "I didn't think I would ever since you again since the day of the Hallow ball."
"And we are here," Marco responded to the delight of the Lady.
Lady Bethany nodded, a small smile on her face. "Yes, we are here. I didn't know you knew the king. Must be here for work?" She asked as that was what she had deduced from her inspection.
"No," Marco replied, a frown slowly appearing on his face. "I'm not here for any work. I am a guest."
