Chapter 94: Chakra Growth

In Kiyoshi's room.

Apart from Kiyoshi, who was sitting cross-legged, motionless, another figure, "Shizune," sat across from him with her eyes closed, focused and steady.

"Shizune-senpai, I'm going to sync my chakra with yours to prepare for the Yin Seal. Focus on every detail as I guide you through the process."

With Shizune's own chakra alone, forming the Yin Seal wouldn't be achievable in just a few days. 

For faster progress, Kiyoshi would use his own immense chakra, converting it so Shizune could use it directly. 

This kind of chakra transfer isn't easy for most ninjas to perform, but with Kiyoshi's precise control, it was possible.

"Alright, Kiyoshi, go ahead," Shizune said in her mind, her spirit fully concentrated on the flow of her chakra and her body's subtle changes.

She set aside all distractions, afraid of missing even the smallest detail.

She genuinely wanted to master the Yin Seal and the Strength of a Hundred Technique. 

Despite Lady Tsunade's dedicated teaching, her own limitations made her afraid of disappointing her mentor. 

She hadn't succeeded in inheriting Tsunade's techniques, leading to an underlying sense of inadequacy and regret. 

She hadn't even been able to confidently introduce herself as Tsunade's student.

However, with Kiyoshi and Karin now also training under Tsunade, Shizune felt some of the pressure ease. 

Watching her younger peers excel with remarkable talent, far surpassing her own, left her feeling a bit discouraged, though she hid these feelings well. 

She continued to diligently ask Kiyoshi for advice, frequently seeking guidance on chakra control techniques over the past two years.

This opportunity now was one she couldn't pass up.

"Swish."

Within the intricate chakra path of her body, Kiyoshi's powerful chakra gradually synchronized with Shizune's, nourishing her with a revitalizing energy.

"Ah." 

A sudden warmth spread through her body, making her feel an involuntary wave of comfort, and she almost let out a small sigh before catching herself, her face flushing deeply.

"Shizune-senpai," Kiyoshi's voice cut in, "next, I'll try to widen your chakra pathways, which should help you gain smoother chakra flow and better control.

It might even improve your chakra control overall. How do you feel about that?"

"Eh? Is that really possible?" Shizune, surprised, forgot her embarrassment.

"Normally, this can't be done from outside the body. But with the Spirit Transformation Jutsu and your cooperation, I can widen and repair your pathways from within. In theory, it's possible," Kiyoshi explained. 

"For anyone else, this procedure is highly risky and could damage the chakra path permanently. Even the smallest miscalculation could render them completely incapable of using chakra."

"There will be pain, though. Can you handle it?"

Kiyoshi had previously discussed with Tsunade the role of chakra control and the importance of a fully developed chakra path. 

While widening her pathways wouldn't elevate Shizune's control to his or even Tsunade's level, Kiyoshi believed that with precise medical ninjutsu, he could smooth out her chakra flow, enhancing her control.

This might even accelerate her journey toward mastering the Yin Seal and the Strength of a Hundred Technique.

"Then… please go ahead, Kiyoshi." Shizune replied, her expression shifting, but determination shone in her eyes. 

As a skilled medical ninja, she knew the dangers of tampering with chakra paths, as even the smallest injury could lead to dire consequences. 

Yet, trusting in Kiyoshi, she made up her mind.

"Alright, brace yourself."

Without further ado, Kiyoshi began. 

Using his exceptional control, he carefully widened her restricted pathways and, with his healing chakra and Mystical Palm Jutsu, repaired any damaged areas.

Such a precise and demanding technique was something only Kiyoshi could perform. Even Tsunade herself might struggle with this level of intricate control. 

Kiyoshi had fully mastered and even surpassed the medical skills Tsunade had taught him, perfecting them as part of his own medical foundation.

"Ah… ah…" 

Shizune felt the intense pain shooting through her spirit, causing her face to tense in agony, though she gritted her teeth and held firm. 

It was painful, but not unbearable. Feeling the sensation of Kiyoshi's chakra, she was astonished.

So this is Kiyoshi's chakra? Warm, powerful, and full of life…

Time passed slowly.

After enduring an hour of this process, Shizune finally sighed in relief as the procedure concluded. 

"Phew, it's finally over."

"The results look good. Your chakra flow is indeed much smoother now," Kiyoshi remarked with a smile, feeling the improved circulation within her chakra path.

"Yes, I can feel it… Thank you so much, Kiyoshi." Shizune beamed with joy.

Kiyoshi's incredible abilities had indeed elevated her chakra control. Compared to that brief pain, the benefits were well worth it.

"Now, let's proceed to form the Yin Seal." Kiyoshi didn't hesitate. Forming a series of hand signs, he began gathering chakra for Shizune's Yin Seal.

"I'll do my best." Shizune set her focus entirely on her chakra flow, concentrating deeply. 

Although she had memorized the steps to form the Yin Seal, she had yet to successfully master it.

She could feel chakra flowing from her network toward her forehead…

Ten minutes passed…

Half an hour…

Three hours…

It took Kiyoshi four hours in total, and finally, on Shizune's forehead, the true mark of the Strength of a Hundred Seal appeared. 

In her mind, she visualized a mysterious reservoir of chakra gathering in a dark spiritual space, as chakra from her network trickled in like a gentle stream.

If not for Kiyoshi's vast chakra, she might have been drained completely.

"It's done. The Yin Seal is fully formed, and a significant amount of chakra has already gathered in your 'reservoir,' stabilizing the Strength of a Hundred Seal."

A diamond-shaped seal had appeared on her forehead.

Shizune smiled and said, "Now, you just need to get used to the Yin Seal and the Strength of a Hundred Technique, and start channeling chakra into the seal yourself."

"If there's time, I'll help you practice these techniques a few more times to speed up your progress," Kiyoshi offered.

"Oh, thank you so much, Kiyoshi." Shizune's face brightened with happiness. 

Experiencing the process firsthand, she felt she had a clear path forward. 

She believed that with persistence, she'd be able to master these techniques within a year or so, even without Kiyoshi's help.

"It's my pleasure," Kiyoshi's gaze softened as he watched the happy, though slightly exhausted, Shizune.

Then, with a playful glint in his eye, Kiyoshi said, "Shizune-senpai, after that procedure, I think I could also enhance… your physique a little more."

He pointed subtly at her figure.

"Would you like to try?"

"Enhance my physique?" Shizune blinked in surprise, staring at him with wide eyes as a blush spread across her face. 

She felt a little tempted but couldn't help asking, "What kind of method? Are you messing with me?"

"Of course not. Here's what we'll do." Kiyoshi patted his chest confidently and leaned in close, whispering his plan: "First, we'll do this, then that, and finally."

"That's it, all done." he finished with a grin.

"Really? But that seems a bit."

"Don't you want to be like Lady Tsunade?" he teased.

"Well… but."

"Alright then, I'll be heading back."

"Wait! I—okay, fine."

"And don't tell anyone."

"No problem."
