Chapter 38 : Academy Preparation..

Sipping the tea that he just made, Kai enjoys the warmth that it brings to his body after walking outside on a cold day while he watches Naruto eating the food that he brings with a hearty expression in every single bite.

He knew that Naruto really liked it when he bought the food from his own home from the day when he first brought it to him, Naruto was really happy about it, especially when he said it was his mother who made it.

After watching Naruto eating until every single grain was wiped clean, Kai gave the tea that was already cooling down that he made for Naruto who almost instantly took it and gulped it down until nothing was left in it. before he started speaking about the reason he came here.

"Naruto, it is almost your time to enter the ninja academy, that means it is gonna be your beginning to achieve your dream to become a ninja."

"I know you don't like studying and all that complicated stuff, but at least I know that Naruto I knew never gonna give up to keep trying his best."

"I'll do my best, Kai Onii-san."

Hearing Naruto answer, Kai gets up from his seat and walks to where the door is.

While naruto has a bewildered expression on his face when looking at him walking to the direction where the door was.

"Kai Onii-san, do you already wanna go home?"

He heard a quiet sadness in Naruto's voice when he was in front of the door.

"What are you talking about Naruto, we're gonna go outside, change your clothes first then come to me. I'm gonna wait in front of your apartment building."

"I'm gonna make sure you're gonna be prepared when you go to the academy so you can always be ready when your time in the academy starts."

Kai said while opening the door to go outside the room, where he started walking to the exit of the apartment building after saying those words.

Waiting in front of the apartment building, Kai waited until Naruto finished changing his clothes, because the condition of the room where Naruto stayed was only a single room and small bathroom.

It was uncomfortable for him to keep staying in the room when Naruto was changing clothes.

After waiting for a few minutes he finally sees Naruto coming out of the apartment building already in his usual daily clothes.

"Come naruto we're gonna go to the usual place."

Kai starts walking to the direction where hokage mountain was followed by Naruto from behind who still has confused expressions.

"Kai Onii-san, I thought you were gonna start teaching me about all of those books again."

"You already learn enough to barely stay in the middle of the ranks in your class, Naruto."

"It was not your strong point and I knew that you already tried really hard for it, Naruto."

Kai knew that Naruto was really not into learning all complicated stuff so when he felt it was enough for Naruto to barely be in the middle rank of the class when in the context of studying it was the best to stop.

He chooses not to force it anymore when it was already enough because he doesn't want to be a controlling freak about someone else's life, it always ends up horrible unless he really is an almighty being that can know everything.

"But I'm okay if we learn together, Kai Onii-san."

"Really?, let's go back then we gonna start studying again with a book instead of learning ninja technique."

Kai said while changing direction back to where Naruto's apartment was. Before his hand was getting pulled from behind.

"Wait Kai Onii-san, let's just go learn ninja technique, I don't want to learn from those books anymore."

After getting pulled really hard and Naruto kept begging about wanting to learn ninja technique Kai felt it was enough teasing Naruto about it and resumed his walking to the previous one to where hokage mountain was.

Along the way he feels the happiness from Naruto every word while talking about entering the academy and becoming a ninja.

After talking along the way to the hokage mountain they finally arrived in their usual place when they were camping or hanging out.

"What are we gonna do Kai Onii-san?"
