Chapter 37 : Academy Preparation.

Awakened from his sleep, the first thing Kai heard was his parrot who seemed to be talking in his sleep because of the nightmare.

He doesn't know why since getting jumpscare from Shisui his parrot sometimes gonna talk in his sleep.

It was not too often so he didn't really worry about it very much, he thought his parrot was getting a little traumatized after that jumpscare that they encountered.

Getting up from his bed Kai approaches where his parrot is and takes it in his hand.

Caressing his parrot feathers Kai tries to calm it down while he opens the curtains from his room windows.

Where he sees darkness of the morning winter who's greeted him with a bleak atmosphere.

Sitting in his chair while still caressing his bird who started to calm down in his sleep, Kai tries to sum up yesterday combat training that he did with his father while waiting for the sun to show up.

After he was successful hitting his father he remembered that he was getting really tired that he just passed out and that was the last thing he remembered until he woke up in the middle of the night and he was already in his bed.

He was really happy to finally be able to have jutsu that he can use, even if it is only a taijutsu at least he can defend himself when he is exploring the forest in case an animal attacks him.

Even though he knew that his father was going easy on him, he still felt the power of the last kick that he did to his father.

It's so much stronger than just doing a regular kick, so even if he does the same movement the power of the kick is so much different. because of the difference of whether he uses the taijutsu skill or not.

After analyzing all of yesterday's training Kai saw a trace of the sunlight that was already showing. That means it's already his time to start his daily routine.

He proceeded to change his clothes to what he usually wears for his training after he was done placing back his parrot to its nest.

When he was finally ready he started heading outside of his home where he started his usual morning training and also his repeatable missions that were almost finished in a few weeks.

Coming back to his house after finishing everything Kai goes back to his room where he cleans himself up with a comforting warm shower before he goes back downstairs where he eats breakfast with his mother.

Finishing his breakfast Kai tells his mother that he wants to go outside to visit his friend's house and ask for some food for him to bring to give it to his friend where his mother happily prepared for him.

After getting permission from his mother Kai takes the food that his mother is packing and goes out of his home and starts heading to the direction where his destination was.

Walking for a while on the warm winter day Kai finally reached his destination, a familiar run down apartment building.

Heading inside the building Kai walked to where the Naruto room was and knocked on the door.

"Naruto…"

After waiting for a few seconds there's no answer. After trying to knock it and call it again he finally hears some movement from inside after many tries.

Finally the door of the apartment opens and he sees Naruto who seems to just awaken from his sleep because he is still in his pajamas while opening the door and still yawning while fighting his sleepiness.

"Ahh…, Kai Onii-san, come on in."

Coming inside the room Kai was satisfied seeing a still tidy room like every other week.

"Are you just waking up Naruto?"

"hehehe…, yes Kai Onii-san."

Sitting in the tatami mat Kai placed the food that he bought on the table.

"Naruto, go clean your face first then you can eat the food that I bring from home."

Kai said when seeing Naruto already looking inside the bag that he bought and wanted to eat it.

He sees Naruto without wasting time run to where the bathroom is before coming back with a wet face and starts eating the food that he bought.

"You can slow down Naruto, after this we gonna talk about your academy preparation."
