the question I had at this moment was what do I do now?

I was reading the book of monsters since I didn't have any missions at the moment.

Sasuke was dead, Orochimaru might be dead, and the village was safe for now. I trained to the max I could for now.

he was sitting reviewing a case about a local homicide of a serial killer. the culprit seemed to really enjoy taking the ears off of people.

there were two other cases and they happened every three years, and the last one to appear was in Chicago.

"Something wrong nick," my partner Hank asked.

"no, I'm trying to find the connection between the three victims. we know that they happen in the span of 3 years, and there are always four bodies, and right now there are only two, so where are the others," Nick told his partner.

"don't worry, the culprit will slip up eventually. but right now this man needs a coffee," my partner said.

Nick got up and went to the bathroom, and as he entered it a blue screen appeared in front of his face with the words.

Nick who thought he was hallucinating rubbed his eyes and washed his face and saw that the window was still there.

Nick blew it off on him being tired, so he went to his desk and grabbed his coat, and told Hank that he was going home.

that night he slept with his wife Juliette and when he woke up the notice was still there.

Nick got to the restroom to not seem crazy in front of his wife and looked at the screen in Infront of him.

now that the new member joined, I continued walking around Konoha when I heard a familiar voice.

"boss."

"konohamaru," I said turning to my right.

"you said today was the day you were going to train me," he said running up to me.

"mmmmm, well it's not like I have anything to do, so let's go," I said putting my hand on his shoulder and teleporting us to the forest.

"this time I will win," konohamaru said jumping backward and preparing an attack.

"Try your best konohamaru," I said blocking a kick to the head.

while he may not have been able to hit me, his coordination was good. he seemed to plan out a second attack if the first one didn't work out.

while this was training, I would need to prepare him for killing intent so he won't freeze up like Sasuke.

my eyes hardened and konohamaru stiffened, feeling like he was just dissected into tiny pieces.

seeing that he wouldn't be able to handle it any longer I stopped and let him catch his breath.

"What... was... that," he said in-between breaths.

"That? that was killing intent. every experienced jonin knows what this is. right now you are barely 9 so I don't expect you to be able to use it.

killing intent Is something you get when you kill people. mine? well, it's a mixture of a technique and how many people I have killed," I told him.

"how many people have you killed," konohamaru asked.

"Well, there were the people from the root. I might just kill the leader, he's been on my bad side since I was young. the others? well, it was my mission," I told him.

"now then let's get you some ramen, and then I can tell you stories," I said.

"I'll be at you there," he said taking off towards ichirakus.

"sure you will," I said as I had a clone chase after him while I teleported there.

"ah Naruto your back," teuchi said looking up at me.

"yes, I am. I'm just waiting for my... student to arrive. but ill take a miso ramen," I said taking a seat.

"Coming right up," he said preparing his ramen.

while I was staring off into space I suddenly got an alert from the system.

"right on time," I thought as konohamaru entered the shop with an exhausted look.
