Chapter 48 - Danzou 06.

Third Person POV

The Land of Sound.

"What are you?!" Danzou couldn't believe what he was feeling now. Naruto was standing in front of him, and he looked at the boy for an answer on how he could move with his body all pierced.

What he saw before him left him stunned; where there should have been holes in Naruto, they were filled with light and began to close back to normal.

"Physical attacks don't work against me, Danzou." Naruto mocked, after all, this man would die soon. Danzou had never imagined someone could have such an ability, so it was shocking to him.

"But that's impossible," he yelled immediately, and before he could finish, a lightning bolt pierced him in the right chest, while Naruto had pointed it at him. An explosion occurred behind him. The explosion was felt by Danzou behind him, who was already kneeling on the ground, feeling his body losing strength from it.

"No, I cannot die here," Danzou felt his death approaching, he refused to fall there.

"You never had a chance. The hardest job was found, killing you has always been an easy task..." Naruto commented.

"Hm?!" If Danzou was desperate before, he felt his transformation being cancelled now and entering into panic.

"If I hit your mark with my beam of light, you will lose all that power soon." Naruto spoke, looking at Danzou becoming a frail old man.

Naruto approached Danzou and began to raise his sword. "Now you will die like a criminal to the Leaf Village," he remarked and continued. "The one who almost caused the extermination of an entire clan," he said with disdain, Danzou had an aura as dark as that masked man.

"No, this can't be happening," Danzou looked at the ground with his blood, feeling sick in his most frail form, this left him in a desperate feeling he had never felt in life.

"Wait, I can tell you important things, if you promise you won't kill me," Danzou tried to play his last card thinking he could stay alive until he found Orochimaru. Naruto thought for a moment about it and stopped, keeping his sword still in his hand and looked.

"That..." He asked and checked, seeing if Danzou was lying or not. "Alright, I promise I won't kill you. However, know one thing: I know if you will lie or not, so you better tell me the truth," Naruto spoke, and Danzou felt a glimmer of hope.

"I will tell you only a few secrets, if you leave me alive, I will tell you more than I know later..." He demanded and Naruto finally nodded knowing this man just wanted to take time to stay alive.

"Continue..." Naruto requested.

"I will tell you a secret I discovered with the Uchihas, you have one in your team." He said and continued. "Through the notes of the second Hokage and what I could see in the village, I know how to make the eyes of that cursed clan even fuller!" He said.

"A Sharingan even more powerful than Akame has...?" Naruto analyzed. "What is needed for that?" Naruto seemed interested now, remembering the masked man and Itachi with their powers.

"It requires that the person kill their best friend or closest bond they have!" He said with a sinister smile.

"..." Naruto looked at that surprised, needing that to free those eyes, understanding why Danzou called that clan cursed.

"You really didn't tell any lies," Naruto commented at the end.

"Yes, I told you this so you would leave me alive! I have more very vital information and I will tell you if you leave me alive!" Danzou was so desperate that he revealed one of the secrets he never imagined telling in life to someone who is a friend of the Uchihas, the same could be said for the next things he would say next, but Naruto did not seem so interested in it, however, he nodded that what he heard about the Sharingan seems quite important.

"Very useful your information..." Naruto spoke and continued. "However...You will not stay alive for much longer." Naruto said and Danzou's eyes widened at him.

"You are not going to leave me alive? That was not our agreement," Danzou spoke suddenly,

Frustrated, he exclaimed, "You promised!"

"Yes, I promised I wouldn't kill you. However, I didn't say she wouldn't," he commented, and just then, Akame arrived with a few bruises on her body from the last collision, but she was looking at Danzou with fiery eyes ready to kill him.

"May I kill him?" She looked at Naruto, who nodded. She then approached, taking her kunai. "You will die for what you did to my clan," she said.

"You had promised," Danzou growled angrily, realizing he had been deceived. "I have more information, I will tell you as long as you let me live!" He saw Akame approaching a few meters away.

"I'm not interested, Danzou, anyway, a good death," Naruto spoke indifferently, after all, he was never going to let this man stay alive.

Danzou panicked internally at that moment, and he couldn't even try to escape while he saw his death approaching.

"If I'm going to die, then I'll take you with me," he muttered. Large seals began to appear on his chest, making Akame stop; she looked stunned at this.

"Damn," Naruto quickly frowned, anticipating what would happen next. He transformed into light, as Danzou already activated it, instantly covering the entire area like a forming black sphere.

Akame couldn't leave, but Naruto quickly traveled at the speed of light and appeared beside her with a glow, without much thought, he kicked her in the stomach, sending her flying back in pain and dizziness. While she looked at him still in place, Naruto was covered by that strange energy.

Suddenly, that sphere began to disintegrate everything on that side. Danzou and Naruto, along with everything around, suddenly disappeared. Akame fell to the ground, quickly getting up and looking at the area without ground as if she couldn't believe it had happened.

"Naruto!" She exclaimed with all her strength when there was no more sign of Naruto or Danzou.

Kimimaro approached the area at that moment and looked at her in confusion after hearing a big explosion.

Akame ran to the edge of the ground hollowed by Danzou's jutsu and began to cry, "No, no, no," she spoke dizzily as tears began to fall from her eyes.

She could no longer feel Naruto's presence, as if he had disappeared from the world... she just looked at the terrain cut in a form.

Her heart weighed heavy at that moment, it changed something inside her. One of the men she hated most had died on one side, and also, the one she deeply loved had also disappeared, Naruto should have returned as in any other situation, but this was not her reality.

This generated a unique sensation in her, feeling a dose of pain in her eyeballs, she couldn't even hear Kimimaro asking for answers about what happened here. Her eye began to change to a new sharingan, as she fainted on the ground unable to maintain the pressure on her body with this change, ending up falling to the ground and her mind blacking out at that moment.

"Well, it looks like it worked," suddenly Naruto's voice emerged in front of her as he stepped onto the ground ahead of the fallen girl.

"What was that...?!" Kimimaro asked, not understanding anything; he arrived seeing Akame in despair while Naruto had disappeared, it was only after she fell to the ground that he descended from the sky.

Naruto didn't answer him at first, checking on Akame first, "She's fine... but her body couldn't handle the stress..." He murmured while touching her neck with two fingers.

He picked her up from the ground with one hand and looked at Kimimaro with a smile. "You see, we have our proof here," Naruto said, lifting his other hand while the other kept Akame on his shoulder.

In his other hand, there was Danzou's head; he was so fast that even Akame didn't notice, he cut his head off while activating his jutsu, removed it and flew into the air, making Akame have the impression that he died, he heard Danzou's words and tried the test with her, he had always known about the girl's feelings for him since they met many years ago.

"At least you will become stronger." Naruto said with an apologetic tone, after all, frightening someone with your death is not an easy thing to deal with.

Naruto looked at Kimimaro, still standing there, surprised. "Hey, don't just stand there, let's go." Naruto suggested, and Kimimaro nodded.

Karin was worried from a distance; beyond the explosions and light coming from afar, Akame's clones had disappeared, fearing the worst. But soon Naruto arrived with Kimimaro, as they put on masks again. "Let's go," Naruto said while still carrying Akame on his shoulder.

"What will happen now...?" Karin asked Naruto with a cautious look.

"We'll stay somewhere tonight and leave the country tomorrow," Naruto said, and they began to move away, heading south to bypass the Sound Village.

They stopped at a cave abandoned by a bear and paused while Naruto checked on the girl. If she was alright, he returned to Karin, who was sitting beside the campfire while Kimimaro skewered an animal after hunting and cleaning its skin.

"What do you have in mind?" Naruto asked.

"What will happen to me?" She asked, imagining that Naruto had already decided her future.

"You will go to Konoha," Naruto said, leaving the girl surprised.

"Konoha? Why there?" She asked.

"As I said, my mother is an Uzumaki, I will ask her to take care of you, I'm sure you will be safe and she will treat you like a family member," he informed her and after hesitating a little, Karin nodded.

They stayed there all night and decided to leave at the first ray of sunlight.

"It seems that the Sound Village is looking for us..." Naruto commented while carrying Akame and Karin, sensing the ninjas circling all the areas they passed, it seemed they were doing this throughout the country after discovering what happened in their village the night before.

"Should we be worried?" Kimimaro asked behind his mask.

"No, I can predict their movements, we'll be fine," Naruto said, after all, this village was mediocre compared to others, so he wasn't worried about it.

They didn't take long to reach the border and entered the country of Hotwater five hours later, while to the south, a man with white hair also entered the country through the Land of Fire.
