Running away.

This has been yet another close call for the matrix. Nate's presence has become a nightmare to them after witnessing his power and capability first-hand.

Once discover that Nate most likely has found them, they quickly make a run for it. Kai was instructed to leave the ship while Mia and the triplets were to stay and try distracting Nate.

If only they knew Nate was not there at the moment.

Luckily, Kai has managed to board the other ship with both Cain and Speed. Chris was with them, but he was badly injured from the fight with the old man and with Pine as well.

"We don't have much time, we have to get to the commanding section of the ship," Kai said to Speed who quickly picked him up as they started sprinting inside the ship.

Cain was left outside to treat Chris's wounds for the time being and also replenish his energy.

The third arms that came out from his body after taking the solution Green gave to him were no longer there as it's has been cut off.

Initially, the boost was only temporary so it's nothing to worry about. In no time, Chris's body was already healed and he now have enough energy to fight again but didn't do that, rather, he rushed into the ship after Kai and so did Cain.

The inside of the ship was big and had a lot of departments in it. With all this, it will practically be hard for one to locate a particular department or else they were working on the ship.

But one thing was clear, the ship they are in now was the same as the one carrying the prisoners. Therefore, it was not much of a work for Kai and Speed to locate the commanding section of the ship and quickly took out those in it.

"Now let's get this moving," Kai mumbled to himself as he was staring the ship away from the other, creating more space for them.

He then increased the ship's speed while creating more distance ahead.

This didn't go unnoticed by Kim and his friends.

"They are getting away...!!!" Rake shouted as he leapt into the air trying to reach the other ship but was stopped by Kim whose hand have been stretched out like some rubber and pulled him down.

"Don't be silly... We are on a rescue mission and not on an assassination mission...!!" Kim shouted.

"But the matrix is in there..." Rake said as he noticed the ship was distancing itself from them.

"Knock it off, do you think we can kill them, didn't you hear what Nate said, they can clone themselves so it's best if we focus on the mission and save as many people as we can.," Kim objected.

"Rather than going after them, try and save those that have fallen into the water," Kim suggested.

In the end, Rake has no other option than to comply, they were sent to rescue the captured people and not to hunt the matrix. Of course, if an opportunity happens to fall out where they have the chance to do something against them, with no hesitation, they would have done something but Kim believes that they have done enough.

At least, freeing all their captives was a strong blow to them since the matrix mainly is strong because of their captives.

Rake falls into the angry water before using his power. With his body now like water, he could sense nearly all the things moving under the water.

All the mutant fish and beasts are under the water. However, Rake's mind was a bit preoccupied with saving those that have fallen into the water and was bringing their body towards him.

Most of them have already become food for the beasts while some were still being targeted. However, some were lucky to still be alive but that won't be for long.

Luckily for them, Rake controlled the water to bring them towards him before he brought them back on top of the ship dock.

"Kim...!! We have a problem here, the ship won't be lasting for long...!!" Rake shouted as he noticed this. Being under the water, he has seen the body of the ship pressing more into the water than floating on top.

The red line circuit turned green again after Kim stopped fighting.

"I have to get to the ship's command centre of the ship...!!" Kim replied.

"I can lead you there," Chuck volunteered.

"Well then. Rake and Pine. You two should gather the bodies around while I and chuck head out," Kim instructed as he grabbed Chuck's hand and the two disappeared from each other's sight.

Nearly all of the guards were not conscious, with those who are still conscious not even being able to move.

"These people need serious medical attention," Rake said.

Just then, one of the doors that leads into the ship opened and four people who looked identical ran out.

"Shit... it's already over... We have to get out of here," Mia panicked.

He has made a quick scan around the area looking for a particular person. Although he couldn't see who he was looking for, he still saw the bodies lying on the ground.

Rake has seen the four people and a message has appeared before him. This also happened to Pine as he quickly formed a sword and got ready for a fight.

Rake still in his water form gathered a lot beside him and turned them into shape blades.

"You all will pay for what happened here today...!!" Mai shouted as he made a run for it. The triplets also did the same thing.

"Unfortunately for you guys, they won't be another day..!!!" Rake shouted as he sent out the water blade towards Mia.

The latter's body was severed into two.

His body dropped and it started turning into dust particles.

"This is not yet over...!!!" Mai shouted before his body completely disappeared.

The triplets suffered the same fate as Mia did. Their body turned into dust particles and disappear.

"This person's power is scary..." Pine said.

"I think we should inform Nate about them...," Rake suggested before going ahead to use the telecommunication skill.

When privileging his skill to any of his hordes, Nate was not giving them any of his fighting skills or so. He believes that they have to get stronger by themselves.

He only privileges them with skills like telecommunication, inventory, master craft and then teleportation.

This was the current privilege skill the others have and Nate believe this was enough.

Meanwhile, Chuck and Kim have eventually located the command centre of the ship...

Inside, there was not one currently stationed in it. It was a good thing because it might require them to fight and that was something Kim was not planning on doing again.

He walked up to the (NTDS) device that was controlling the ship. He could see the places where the ship was damaged from.

He then placed his hands on top of the NTDS and Oni quickly went and enveloped the device just like it did to the gun.

Immediately, Kim gave it a few commands and with that, Oni was off from his body into the computer...

"This should hold the ship for now..." Kim said.

"So what then..?" Chuck asked.

"It's simple... We inform Nate of what we discovered and proceed and wait for his response," Kim said.

Meanwhile, Nate in the forever winter land suddenly got a message that genuinely surprised him.

[A cruise ship has been captured by your pledge members]

[Do you want to mark the ship?]

[Yes/No]

'Interesting... I never thought they will complete it so fast...,' Nate thought before selecting yes.

Just after he said so, he noticed that someone was connecting to him through the telecommunication skill.

After a few times of listening to the report, Nate quickly abandoned what he was doing and started heading towards the teleporter.

'The matrix... What are they up to now?' Nate wondered.
