Ning Qi was almost stumped on the spot when he received that notification. He couldn't help but smile wryly, but he didn't reassure the system.

Shen Yue also looked at them, as though thinking, why do these two fellows have so many questions?

"What are you asking, senior brother? Sect master probably has his connections all around the world, or else how would he know about all these troubles to provide us with missions?"

Kang Xuan again said it, making everyone ponder for a moment before they nodded their heads as though they understood it completely now.

"Stop talking and asking too many questions that are unnecessary for you. Just choose a mission that is suitable for your levels and inform me before you set out for the mission."

Ning Qi turned back to check on the missions one by one, no longer bothering with them.

[Mission - 1]

Bandit Group - A gang of bandits with a base in Moon Hill.

Description:

This bandit group has been actively working in Yangshou and Guilin for the past three years. Even though they don't have many murder cases on them. They have many rape cases, as they usually catch young girls to rape them for many days before either killing them or leaving them, depending on their mood.

Mission Goal: Eliminating all these bandits.

Conditions: The mission must kill the leader or else it will be considered unsuccessful.

Rewards: XP and stat points (depending on the contribution and the success of the mission).

[Mission - 2]

Unknown Killer - A serial killer who is on a rampage.

Description: Track down the murderer who is killing innocent people in Liuzhou city and bring him back to the sect alive.

Conditions: The quicker, the better.

Rewards: XP and stats.

[Mission - 3]

Incoming Enemy - An unknown enemy is coming to the sect.

Description: None

Conditions: Exclusive to the Sect Master and Elder.

Time Left: 7 days until the enemy comes.

Rewards: XP and stats.

[Mission - 1]

Rescue Mission - Save a family of 10 people that have been held as hostages.

Description: A family of 10 people from Guilin recently visited Nanning for a close family relative's wedding. But an unknown group of professional killers attacked the party before holding many of them captive.

Conditions: None.

Time Left: 2 days [still, the world is unknown as people are kept captive there, and the goals of those are unknown too].

Rewards: XP, stats, and a random pill.

[Mission - 2]

Defending - A righteous sect is in the middle of being eradicated.

Description: The Liushan Sect, a righteous sect located near Liuzhou City, is in crisis. But that sect is a weak one that has been established for less than 200 years. As such, no other sects are willing to help them or even bother to help them.

Caution: An enemy sect may have an early stage foundation establishment realm cultivator.

Time Left: 10 days.

Rewards: XP, stats, and a sword.

[Mission - 3]

Cleansing - Join in a secret mission to eliminate an evil organization under the government's 'Supernatural Branch'.

Description: This branch is recruiting a group of people from sects along with their members to eradicate an evil sect near Hengyang city in Hunan province.

Caution: Many golden core realm cultivators may be present on both teams.

Rewards: XP, stats, a random pill, and 30 million yuan (from the mission).

[Mission - 1]

Mad Ghost - Eliminating a cultivator who is practicing a cultivation technique that is against morals.

Description: A cultivator is silently cultivating a dark technique that needs the souls of all kinds of beings in Yangshou County. Even though this cultivator is not killing many people or torturing them as other criminals did, it is still a heinous act that is not tolerable.

Caution: This cultivator is at the peak of the golden core realm.

Rewards: XP, stats, 2 random pills, and a random weapon.

[Mission - 2]

Exploration - Explore the mountain range and find any possible dangers there.

Description: Something is going on in the Mao'er mountain range. Those who passed those danger signs made by the government are missing, and the government is also not taking care of that, as though it knows about the shady business happening there.

Caution: There is possibly a nascent soul realm cultivator guarding that place with many other cultivators.

Restriction: Exclusive to the sect master.

Rewards: Special stats and a comprehension pill.

[Mission - 3]

Scout - Heavenly Wolf Sect is looking for people to scout some areas.

Description: They are probably looking for people to scout an enemy sect of theirs, as the information is still vague about their purpose.

Caution: The possibility of scouting an enemy sect location is high and has a high mortality chance.

Time Limit: six months - They have set this period for their recruitment process.

Rewards: XP, stats, 2 random pills, and a special reward.

{{ Disastrous Missions }}

[Mission]

War - Declare war on the Evil Red Blood Sect and eliminate them.

Description: The Red Blood Sect is one of the major evil sects in the world. Its atrocious act will never be tolerated and is against all morals. But no one is taking the chance to deal with them.

Caution: True Qi realm cultivators may be present in that sect.

Restriction: Every sect member must participate.

Rewards: 1. 3 levels, 30 free stats, and a special attribute [for everyone].

2. 3 Special stats [exclusive to sect master].

3. Kill rewards [will vary depending on the number of kills and the strength of the enemy].

Three missions caught Ning Qi's eye. They are the easy mission for the incoming enemy, the exploration mission, and the disastrous mission.

He knows about the exploration one already, as he already had the idea of exploring the Maoe'r Mountains after coming back from the trek there.

He also knows about the disastrous level mission and how the system decided to make it. But he shook his head because that is a bit much for them to handle sects at that level right now.

"Who is this incoming enemy, though? It is just an easy mission, which means they aren't that strong. But who, in the end, is seeking trouble?"

Ning Qi pondered as he considered the Yan Sect, which he felt was unlikely given that he caused no damage to their property and did not kill their disciple.

He then thought of the Heavenly Wolf Sect, but they showed friendliness. Lastly, the Red Blood sect wouldn't have just sent such weak people, even if they just had their doubts, with their cruel nature and hard ways.

"Sect master! Why are you participating in the missions? Y-you are also rewarding yourself?"

Shen Yue asked, as she already read every mission faster than everyone.

"Yeah! Why are you rewarding yourself, brother? Have you gone silly?"

Ning Jing also commented as she blinked at Ning Qi. She finds it a bit funny how her brother rewards himself.

Both Wen Fen and Kang Jia couldn't help but giggle at the words chosen by Ning Jing.

Nangong Xu and Kang Xuan simply looked at him, as they thought there may be some profound meaning that Ning Qi is going to explain now.

"Nothing! Don't think too much... I just felt bored and decided to participate in some missions too or else my legs will go cramps from sitting all day."

Ning Qi said as he turned his back to get away from there quickly.

Everyone rolled their eyes, especially Nangong Xu, who almost got stumped as he was intently waiting for the 'profound truths'. Kang Xuan simply smiled as he patted Nangong Xu as though consoling him.

"Alright! Carefully choose the missions that you have the confidence to complete and report to me."

Ning Qi finally went upstairs, giving them time to choose missions.
