CHAPTER 09

I couldn’t control my tears in front of him. So I started to cry. I wiped my tears. “Elijah, You go and take a rest. I got something to do.” I said as I left without waiting for his reply. I went to a library to spend some time alone. When I went inside, the Librarian greeted me. “Long time no see, Ms. Angelina.” He said as I looked at him. He continued to talk. “You still looking freaking young.” He said.

“Are you nuts? I understand I may resemble my mother but calling me Angelina is..” While I was talking a teen boy ran toward us. “Sorry, He is not in his right mind. If he offended you..” While he is talking I cut off by saying “ It’s okay.” I said and I went to the novel section. I took the book and sat at the table and started to sleep.

“Ms. You can’t sleep here.” that teen boy said.

“Is this a way to speak to your elder?” I asked him while rubbing my eyes.

“Your eyes are so red. Is everything alright?” He asked me as I layed on the bench.

“This is your last warning. I’m letting you go because you seem tired but you can’t do this here again.” He said left as I smiled while sleeping. He seems so cute.

After thirty minutes, He brought coffee for me. “What now?” I asked him while laying on the table. “Nothing, grandpa told me to give coffee to you.” He said as I looked at him and asked “Why?”

“I don’t know. If you don’t want it, I will take it from you.” He said and sighed.

“Yaah, leave the coffee here. Since he offended me before, I will take this coffee as his apology.” I said and sipped the coffee as he sat before me with a pout.

“Why are you pouting?” I asked him as he sighed.

“My grandpa asked me to marry you.” He said as I looked at him shockingly.

“Are you kidding me? Yo you are too small to marry me.” I said as he looked down.

“I know but marrying an older person isn't a big issue these days.” He said as I hit his head.

“Kids these days are too much.” I said as I stood up to go. But I feel dizzy. As soon as I feel dizzy, I don’t know how but before I could become unconscious I should go from this library. As I started to walk, the scenario started to change. I was standing near the valley and I saw my mom laughing with my dad, Wait.. That’s not my dad… That’s…. I went near them but they didn’t seem to notice me. Wait, that's that man from the library. While I’m looking at them. He kissed my mom as they both looked like lovers. While they were kissing. They both started to cry.

“Honey, This may be the last day of our love.” He said as my mom looked at him with teary eyes.

“As we cannot live together, At least we can just die. Albert” My mom said.

“Angelina, Don’t be like that, Taking off our own lives will keep us far away from god. We can’t do that.” He said.

“Then, at least fulfill my dream.” My mom said as He kissed my mom’s forehead.

“I’m willing to do that honey.” He said as my mom wiped her tears.

“I want you to be my baby’s father.” she said as he looked at her shockingly.

“Angelina, Do you know? What are you talking about? It could spoil your marriage life fully” He literally yelled at her.

“If you don’t want me to die, Then do it.” She said in a serious tone.

“Angelina…” He called her in a pleading tone.

“If you can’t do it. Then let me die.” She said as he stood in teary eyes. I could clearly hear his sobbing in between the waterfall sound. While looking at their conversation, the scenario changed again. My mom is standing in a white gown with my father and I, that man in the corner of the hall, watching my mom with tears and guess what? I also saw Madison with an angry face as my father became nervous and excused himself for a moment and went alone as I followed him.

“Madi, Please understand my situation. I don’t have any other option than marrying her. You Know I'm only going to marry her for her money, nothing else.” He said.

“Whom you are trying to fool. I can see the way you treat her and her family. I’m going to stop this marriage by saying everything.” She said,

“Madison, If you try to act smart. I won’t leave you. You will experience hell while living on earth.” He threatened her as she left while crying.

Woah, It turns out my father is the one who married her at his own will. I sighed and watched him getting married with my mom as the scenario changed again. This time my mom is testing her, If she is pregnant. The result confirmed that she is pregnant as she started to cry and went out.

“Williams, I’m pregnant.” She said with a smile as he became so happy and hugged my mom. They both become happy and throw a party. The worst thing is Madison is here but she didn’t seem to be invited. She tried to talk with my father but he kept ignoring her and stood beside my mom.

“Angelina, congrats.” Madison said with a sly smile.

“Thank you Madi.” my mom said.

“You just got married, How did you become pregnant so fast? Did you two before marriage… HuhHuh.” She said and smiled as my mom's facial expression changed.

“Madison, I think you are so interested in our lives. But we’re not in the mood of entertaining you. So shut the fuck up and leave.” My father literally yelled as Madison gave him death glare.

“William, Don’t act like you are so high and your wife is. I’m sure, She must’ve been in an affair before marriage that’s why she got pregnant.” She yelled as everyone watched my mom.

“Enough Madison. What the hell are you talking about?” She asked her.

“Did you think, You could hide your affair with Albert.? Didn’t you had sex with Albert before marriage?” Madison asked my mom.

“Do you have proof?” My mom asked her.

“Proof? Haha. Albert came inside.” She yelled as he entered the hall as my mom looked at him confusingly.

“Albert, tell everyone… We haven’t done anything.” My mom said as he looked at her blankly.

“Enough Angelina, Why should I lie. The child inside you is mine.” He said as my mom slapped him.
