Chapter 2: Onwards

My life has had a drastic turn for better or worse only time can tell. But for the current me is now travelling with a undead knight. After he freed me he has been carrying me around like some kind of tool. Z seem to be taking me some where but having no idea where I was, of course I have no idea where I am going now.

But we seem to be slowly approaching something, it looks to be some sort of a door with moss and spider webs covering the sturdy looking wooden frame. The door way was wide open, inside in the distance I can make out some shadowed figure. They seem to be skeletons.

As Z approaches the door he enters it with no hesitation. The room was lit by sources of little balls of light, was this magic or advanced technology. The room was dirty and like to have become unused for quite some time now.

All the skeletons in the room slowly turned there heads to look at Z. From what I could see there was a group of three other skeletons besides Z. By the looks of it the other were either not as smart as Z or just had worse items.

The one of the skeletons had a iron helmet with a hole that had been formed due to rust. Along with a strange looking axe which had two head on one side, on one of the axes head there were spatters of red dots which I believed to be dried blood. There must have been a fight between this skeleton and something living.

The other two skeletons had basic looks only carrying weapons with no armour. The skeleton to the left of the room had a spear made of a black metal, with a long piece of yellow cloth wrapped around the base of the blade. The skeleton to the right of the room had only the two sliver daggers with a black edge, along the matching holders attached to this waist.

Since Z had a name I decided I would name the others not that they would know, It was only to help me distinguish the plain looking skeletons apart. For the first skeleton I saw with the battle axe I would name "B" because, if anything he seem to be wiser than the other two. So he should have a name that matched who I believed to be the leader Z. The skeleton with the spear I named "Alpha". The skeleton with the two daggers I named "Beta".

As Z walked further in the room full of skeletons, I noticed a shield made entirely of silver. In the reflection I could see Z but I could not see myself. Wait a minute Z has been carrying me the whole time. But the only thing is Z hands was a shiny long, was I that sword?.

Wait now that explains why I could not move earlier, is it because I am now a sword. But how did this happen, not only am I in a place I don't know now I don't even have my human body. Am I to relay on who ever is my wielder.

At least not all is bad Z seems to be not trying to destroy me. What would happen if my blade broke would that be the end of me for real this time. I was given a second change at life I am going to make the most of this. But first to get above ground, and leave this group of skeletons. Maybe if skeletons exist there might be a way for me to grow stronger and more powerful.
