12: In a room alone (R-16)

They were close enough to share the same breath, it was hot and hitting their noses at the same time, this sensation causing the atmosphere to change and turning it into hot summer from winter night.

Without a warning or so Nuri tried to kiss him in her mind's influence. Santiago was not affected by her stare, instead, he was feeling hot in this chilly room, what was going on with him? Things shouldn't have turned this way.

When she was just an inch away from him, he put his palm in front of his lip, she ended up putting her soft lips on his large palm. She was surprised, he was supposed to be drawn into her charm by now, why do he still look fine and normal?

A moment, later, she drew her head back and look into his eyes, and now that she was doing it, those eyes reminded him of someone, it was no other than Santiago, the person she saw on the big digital board with a criminal record.

" Santiago? ", That name escaped her mouth without her knowing.

Santiago pulled his eyebrows together in surprise once he heard his name coming out of a stranger's mouth.

" How did you know my name? Now say that you don't know me, I am sure you can't deny it now. After all, you are indeed after me ", He smirked when realised that maybe his instinct about her being a spy was right.

She sat a little further from him and kept looking into his eye trying to seduce him. Yeah, her charm was not working on his for reason, she couldn't see him blush or anything. But then saw the mask on his face, maybe it was the reason why she couldn't see his real emotions and expressions.

" How would I not know you, I saw your criminal records along with your big picture all over the bus stop. I would be an idiot if I am to ignored it after knowing who you are ", She answer straight up.

" How do I believe you? I didn't show you my face, it's just my eyes which are visible, so how could you tell it was me? ", He asked.

He had changed everything about him just so he could mix in the crowd, and now this lady straight up called him, what does this mean rather than her being a secret spy?

" Your eyes, they drown me towards you. You can change everything but your eyes are quite special, you can never find such eyes anywhere ", Nuri said looking straight at him.

It was at this moment that he lost himself. Never once had anyone told him that he has special or beautiful eyes, it was only this woman.
